1 “ Bezalel and Oholiab will do the work, together with every workman whom the Lord has made able and understands how to do all the work in the building of the holy place. They will do all that the Lord has said.” The People Bring More Than Enough

“Bezalel, Aholiab y toda persona hábil en quien el Señor ha puesto sabiduría e inteligencia para saber hacer toda la obra de construcción del santuario, harán todo conforme a lo que el Señor ha ordenado.”

2 T hen Moses called Bezalel and Oholiab and every workman whom the Lord had made able, every one whose heart moved him to come to do the work.

Entonces Moisés llamó a Bezalel y a Aholiab y a toda persona hábil en quien el Señor había puesto sabiduría, y a todo aquél cuyo corazón le impulsaba a venir a la obra para hacerla.

3 T hey received from Moses all the gifts the people of Israel had brought for the work of building the holy place. And they kept bringing gifts because they wanted to every morning.

Y recibieron de Moisés todas las ofrendas que los Israelitas habían traído para hacer la obra de la construcción del santuario. Los Israelitas seguían trayéndole ofrendas voluntarias cada mañana.

4 A ll the able workmen came who were doing all the work on the holy place. Each man came from the work he had been doing.

Así que vinieron todos los hombres hábiles que hacían todo el trabajo del santuario, cada cual del trabajo que estaba haciendo,

5 T hey said to Moses, “The people are bringing much more than enough for the work the Lord told us to do.”

y dijeron a Moisés: “El pueblo trae más de lo que se necesita para la obra de construcción que el Señor nos ha ordenado que se haga.”

6 S o Moses made it be known to all the people, saying, “No man or woman is to give any more gifts for the holy place.” So the people were kept from bringing any more.

Entonces Moisés dio una orden, y se pasó una proclama por todo el campamento y dijo: “Ningún hombre ni mujer haga más trabajo para las contribuciones del santuario.” Así el pueblo dejó de traer más.

7 F or the things they had were enough for doing all the work. There was more than enough. Building of the Tent

Porque el material que tenían era abundante, y más que suficiente para hacer toda la obra. Construcción del Tabernáculo

8 A ll the able men among those who were doing the work made the meeting tent with ten curtains. They made them of fine linen and blue, purple and red cloth, with cherubim sewed into them by an able workman. Bezalel made them.

Todos los hombres hábiles de entre los que estaban haciendo la obra hicieron el tabernáculo (la morada) con diez cortinas de lino fino torcido, y tela azul, púrpura y escarlata, con querubines, obra de hábil artífice. Bezalel las hizo.

9 E ach curtain was as long as fourteen long steps and as wide as two long steps, all of them the same.

La longitud de cada cortina era de 12. 6 metros y la anchura de cada cortina de 1. 6 metros. Todas las cortinas tenían una misma medida.

10 H e joined five curtains to each other. And the other five curtains he joined to each other.

Unió cinco cortinas una con otra, también las otras cinco cortinas las unió una con otra.

11 H e took small pieces of blue cloth, longer than they were wide. He sewed both ends to the side of the last curtain in the first row. Then he did the same on the side of the last curtain in the second row.

Hizo lazos de tela azul en el borde de la cortina del extremo del primer enlace. Lo mismo hizo en el borde de la cortina del extremo del segundo enlace.

12 H e put fifty of these pieces on the one curtain. And he put fifty on the side of the other curtain, so that the pieces met each other.

Hizo cincuenta lazos en una cortina, e hizo cincuenta lazos en el borde de la cortina que estaba en el segundo enlace. Los lazos se correspondían unos a otros.

13 H e made fifty hooks of gold. Then he joined the curtains together with the hooks so the meeting tent was as one.

Hizo además cincuenta broches de oro, y unió las cortinas una a la otra con los broches, de manera que el tabernáculo llegó a ser una unidad.

14 H e made curtains of goat hair for a covering over the meeting tent. He made eleven curtains in all.

Hizo también cortinas de pelo de cabra a manera de tienda sobre el tabernáculo. Hizo once cortinas en total.

15 E ach curtain was as long as fifteen long steps, and as wide as two long steps, all of them the same.

La longitud de cada cortina era de 13. 5 metros, y la anchura de cada cortina de 1. 8 metros. Las once cortinas tenían una misma medida.

16 H e joined five curtains by themselves and six curtains by themselves.

Unió cinco cortinas entre sí y las otras seis cortinas también entre sí.

17 H e took fifty small pieces of cloth, longer than they were wide. He sewed both ends of each to the side of the last curtain in the first row. Then he sewed fifty pieces onto the side of the last curtain in the second row.

Hizo cincuenta lazos en el borde de la cortina del extremo del primer enlace, y cincuenta lazos en el borde de la cortina del extremo del segundo enlace.

18 H e made fifty hooks of brass. And he put the hooks through the sewed pieces of cloth and joined the tent together as one.

Hizo además cincuenta broches de bronce para unir la tienda, a fin de que fuera un todo.

19 H e made a covering for the tent out of rams’ skins made red, and a covering of badgers’ skins over this.

Hizo también para la tienda una cubierta de pieles de carnero teñidas de rojo, y encima otra cubierta de pieles de marsopa.

20 T hen he made the pillars of acacia wood for the meeting tent.

Hizo luego para el tabernáculo tablas de madera de acacia, colocándolas verticalmente.

21 E ach piece of wood was as long as five long steps, and as wide as one step.

La longitud de cada tabla era de 4. 5 metros, y de 68 centímetros la anchura de cada tabla.

22 H e made two joining pieces in each piece of wood for joining them together. He did this for all the pieces of wood of the meeting tent.

Cada tabla tenía dos espigas para unirlas una con otra. Así hizo con todas las tablas del tabernáculo.

23 H e made twenty pieces of wood for the south side of the meeting tent.

Hizo, pues, las tablas para el tabernáculo: veinte tablas para el lado sur.

24 H e made forty silver bases under the twenty pieces of wood, two bases under each piece of wood.

También hizo cuarenta basas de plata debajo de las veinte tablas: dos basas debajo de una tabla para sus dos espigas, y dos basas debajo de otra tabla para sus dos espigas.

25 T hen he made twenty pieces of wood for the north side of the meeting tent.

Para el segundo lado del tabernáculo, el lado norte, hizo veinte tablas,

26 A nd he made forty silver bases, with two bases under each piece of wood.

y sus cuarenta basas de plata: dos basas debajo de una tabla y dos basas debajo de la otra tabla.

27 H e made six pieces of wood for the back or west side of the meeting tent.

Para la parte posterior del tabernáculo, hacia el occidente, hizo seis tablas.

28 H e made two pieces of wood for the back corners.

Hizo además dos tablas para las esquinas del tabernáculo en la parte posterior.

29 T hey were together at the bottom, and joined at the top with one ring. They were made the same for the two corners.

Eran dobles por abajo y estaban unidas por arriba hasta la primera argolla. Así hizo con las dos para las dos esquinas.

30 T here were eight pieces of wood, with sixteen silver bases, two under each piece of wood.

Había ocho tablas con sus basas de plata; dieciséis basas, dos basas debajo de cada tabla.

31 H e made long, straight pieces of acacia wood, five for the pieces of wood on one side of the meeting tent,

Hizo también barras de madera de acacia: cinco para las tablas de un lado del tabernáculo,

32 a nd five for the pieces of wood on the other side of the meeting tent. Then he made five for the pieces of wood at the back of the meeting tent, the west side.

y cinco barras para las tablas del otro lado del tabernáculo, y cinco barras para las tablas del lado posterior del tabernáculo, hacia el occidente.

33 H e made the long, straight cross-piece for the center to pass through from end to end.

La barra del medio en el centro de las tablas la hizo pasar de un extremo al otro.

34 H e covered the pieces of wood with gold. He made rings of gold to hold the long, straight pieces of wood. And he covered these pieces of wood with gold.

Revistió de oro las tablas y revistió de oro las barras e hizo de oro sus argollas por donde pasaran las barras.

35 H e made the curtain of blue and purple and red cloth and fine linen. He made it with cherubim sewed into it by an able workman.

Hizo además, el velo de tela azul, púrpura y escarlata y lino fino torcido. Lo hizo con querubines, obra de hábil artífice.

36 H e hung it on four pillars of acacia wood covered with gold. Their hooks were made of gold and he made four silver bases for it.

Le hizo cuatro columnas de acacia y las revistió de oro. Sus ganchos eran también de oro, y fundió para ellas cuatro basas de plata.

37 H e made a curtain for the door of the meeting tent out of blue, purple and red cloth and fine linen, the work of an able workman.

Hizo también una cortina para la entrada de la tienda de tela azul, púrpura y escarlata y de lino fino torcido, obra de tejedor,

38 H e made five pillars with their hooks and covered their tops with gold. But he made their five bases of brass.

con sus cinco columnas y sus ganchos. Revistió de oro sus capiteles y sus molduras, pero sus cinco basas eran de bronce.
