Jerusalén, que está edificada Como ciudad compacta, bien unida,

A la cual suben las tribus, las tribus del Señor, ( lo cual es ordenanza para Israel) Para alabar el nombre del Señor.

Porque allí se establecieron tronos para juicio, Los tronos de la casa de David.

6 P ray for the peace of Jerusalem. May all go well for those who love you.

Oren ustedes por la paz de Jerusalén: “Sean prosperados los que te aman.

7 M ay there be peace within your walls. May all go well within your houses.

Haya paz dentro de tus muros, Y prosperidad en tus palacios.”

8 I will now say, “May peace be within you,” for the good of my brothers and my friends.

Por amor de mis hermanos y de mis amigos, Diré ahora: “Sea la paz en ti.”

9 B ecause of the house of the Lord our God, I will pray for your good.

Por amor de la casa del Señor nuestro Dios Procuraré tu bien.
