1 I t is good to give thanks to the Lord, and sing praises to Your name, O Most High.

Bueno es dar gracias al Señor, Y cantar alabanzas a Tu nombre, oh Altísimo;

2 I t is good to tell of Your loving-kindness in the morning, and of how faithful You are at night,

Anunciar por la mañana Tu bondad, Y Tu fidelidad por las noches,

3 w ith harps, and with music of praise.

Con laúd de diez cuerdas y con el arpa, Con la música sonora de la lira.

4 F or You have made me glad by what You have done, O Lord. I will sing for joy at the works of Your hands.

Porque Tú, oh Señor, me has alegrado con Tus obras, Cantaré con gozo ante las obras de Tus manos.

5 H ow great are Your works, O Lord! How deep are Your thoughts!

¡Qué grandes son Tus obras, oh Señor, Cuán profundos Tus pensamientos!

6 A man who cannot reason does not have much learning. A fool does not understand this.

El hombre torpe no tiene conocimiento, Y el necio no entiende esto:

7 E ven if the sinful grow up like grass and all goes well with wrong-doers, they will be destroyed forever.

Que cuando los impíos brotaron como la hierba, Y florecieron todos los que hacían iniquidad, Sólo fue para ser destruidos para siempre.

8 B ut You, O Lord, rule from Your high place forever.

Pero Tú, oh Señor, excelso eres eternamente.

9 F or, look, those who hate You will be lost from You forever, O Lord. All those who do wrong will be destroyed.

Porque Tus enemigos, Señor, Porque Tus enemigos perecerán; Serán esparcidos todos los que hacen iniquidad.

10 B ut You have lifted up my horn like that of a wild bull. New oil has been poured upon me.

Pero Tú has exaltado mi poder como el del búfalo; He sido ungido con aceite fresco.

11 M y eyes have seen those who wait to hurt me. My ears hear the bad men who rise up against me.

Mis ojos satisfechos han mirado a los que me acechaban, Y oyen mis oídos de los malhechores que se levantan contra mí.

12 T he man who is right and good will grow like the palm tree. He will grow like a tall tree in Lebanon.

El justo florecerá como la palma, Crecerá como cedro en el Líbano.

13 P lanted in the house of the Lord, they will grow well in the home of our God.

Plantados en la casa del Señor, Florecerán en los atrios de nuestro Dios.

14 T hey will still give fruit when they are old. They will be full of life and strength.

Aun en la vejez darán fruto; Estarán vigorosos y muy verdes,

15 A nd they will show that the Lord is faithful. He is my rock. There is nothing in Him that is not right and good.

Para anunciar cuán recto es el Señor; El es mi Roca, y que en El no hay injusticia.
