3 I f the base of the building is destroyed, what can those who are right with God do?”

4 T he Lord is in His holy house. The Lord’s throne is in heaven. His eyes see as He tests the sons of men.

El Señor está en Su santo templo, el trono del Señor está en los cielos; Sus ojos contemplan, Sus párpados examinan a los hijos de los hombres.

5 T he Lord tests and proves those who are right and good and those who are sinful. And His soul hates the one who loves to hurt others.

El Señor prueba al justo y al impío, Y Su alma aborrece al que ama la violencia.

6 H e will send down fire upon the sinful. Fire and sulphur and burning wind will be the cup they will drink.

Sobre los impíos hará llover carbones encendidos; Fuego, azufre y viento abrasador será la porción de su copa.

7 F or the Lord is right and good. He loves what is right and good. And those who are right with Him will see His face.

Pues el Señor es justo; El ama la justicia; Los rectos contemplarán Su rostro.
