1 I n the Lord I am safe. How can you say to me, “Fly away as a bird to your mountain?

(10-1) ^^Начальнику хора. Псалом Давида.^^ На Господа уповаю; как же вы говорите душе моей: 'улетай на гору вашу, птица'?

2 F or look, the sinful raise their bow. They make their arrow ready on the string to shoot in the dark against the pure in heart.

(10-2) Ибо вот, нечестивые натянули лук, стрелу свою приложили к тетиве, чтобы во тьме стрелять в правых сердцем.

3 I f the base of the building is destroyed, what can those who are right with God do?”

(10-3) Когда разрушены основания, что сделает праведник?

4 T he Lord is in His holy house. The Lord’s throne is in heaven. His eyes see as He tests the sons of men.

(10-4) Господь во святом храме Своем, Господь, --престол Его на небесах, очи Его зрят; вежды Его испытывают сынов человеческих.

5 T he Lord tests and proves those who are right and good and those who are sinful. And His soul hates the one who loves to hurt others.

(10-5) Господь испытывает праведного, а нечестивого и любящего насилие ненавидит душа Его.

6 H e will send down fire upon the sinful. Fire and sulphur and burning wind will be the cup they will drink.

(10-6) Дождем прольет Он на нечестивых горящие угли, огонь и серу; и палящий ветер--их доля из чаши;

7 F or the Lord is right and good. He loves what is right and good. And those who are right with Him will see His face.

(10-7) ибо Господь праведен, любит правду; лице Его видит праведника.
