1 T he Lord said to Moses,

Entonces el Señor le dijo a Moisés:

2 “ If a person is not faithful and sins against the Lord by lying to his neighbor about money given to him for safe-keeping, or by stealing, or by false ways,

“Cuando alguien peque y cometa una falta contra el Señor, engañando a su prójimo en cuanto a un depósito o alguna cosa que se le ha confiado, o por robo, o por haber extorsionado a su prójimo,

3 o r by finding what was lost and lying about it before God, if a man does any of the things that men sin by doing,

o ha encontrado lo que estaba perdido y ha mentido acerca de ello, y ha jurado falsamente, de manera que peca en cualquiera de las cosas que suele hacer el hombre,

4 h e will become guilty. Then he should return what he took by stealing, or what he got by false ways, or the money which was given to him for safe-keeping, or the lost thing which he found,

será, entonces, que cuando peque y sea culpable, devolverá lo que tomó al robar, o lo que obtuvo mediante extorsión, o el depósito que le fue confiado, o la cosa perdida que ha encontrado,

5 o r anything that he lied about. He should pay for it in full, and add to it one-fifth part more. He should give it to whom it belongs on the day he gives his guilt gift.

o cualquier cosa acerca de la cual juró falsamente; hará completa restitución de ello y le añadirá una quinta parte más. Se la dará al que le pertenece el día que presente su ofrenda por la culpa.

6 T hen he will bring to the religious leader his guilt gift to the Lord, a ram that is perfect from the flock, that you decide to be the right price for a guilt gift.

Entonces traerá al sacerdote su ofrenda por la culpa para el Señor, un carnero sin defecto del rebaño, conforme a tu valuación como ofrenda por la culpa,

7 B efore the Lord the religious leader will pay the price for him for whatever he did that made him guilty. And he will be forgiven.” The Law of the Burnt Gift

y el sacerdote hará expiación por él delante del Señor, y le será perdonada cualquier cosa que haya hecho por la cual sea culpable.” El Sacerdote y los Sacrificios

8 T he Lord said to Moses,

Entonces el Señor le dijo a Moisés:

9 “ Tell Aaron and his sons, ‘This is the Law for the burnt gift. The burnt gift should stay on the altar all night until the morning, and the fire should be kept burning on the altar.

“Ordena a Aarón y a sus hijos, y diles: ‘Esta es la ley del holocausto: el holocausto mismo permanecerá sobre el fuego, sobre el altar, toda la noche hasta la mañana, y el fuego del altar ha de mantenerse encendido en él.

10 T hen the religious leader will put on the clothing next to his flesh, and the long linen clothing over that. And he will take the ashes that are left from the fire of the burnt gift on the altar, and put them beside the altar.

El sacerdote vestirá su túnica de lino y se pondrá calzoncillos de lino fino sobre su cuerpo. Tomará las cenizas a que el fuego ha reducido el holocausto sobre el altar y las pondrá junto al altar.

11 T hen he will change his clothes and carry the ashes to a clean place away from the tents.

Después se quitará sus vestiduras, se pondrá otras vestiduras y llevará las cenizas fuera del campamento a un lugar limpio.

12 T he fire should be kept burning on the altar. It should not go out. The religious leader should burn wood on it every morning. He will lay the burnt gifts on it, and burn the fat parts of the peace gifts on it.

El fuego del altar se mantendrá encendido sobre el altar; no se apagará, sino que el sacerdote quemará leña en él todas las mañanas, y pondrá sobre él el holocausto, y quemará sobre él la grasa de las ofrendas de paz.

13 F ire should always be kept burning on the altar. It is not to go out. The Law of the Grain Gift

El fuego se mantendrá encendido continuamente en el altar; no se apagará.

14 ‘ This is the Law of the grain gift. The sons of Aaron will give it to the Lord in front of the altar.

Esta es la ley de la ofrenda de cereal: los hijos de Aarón la presentarán delante del Señor frente al altar.

15 O ne of them will fill his hand with the fine flour of the grain gift, with its oil and all the special perfume that is on it, and burn it on the altar to be remembered as a pleasing smell to the Lord.

Entonces uno de los sacerdotes tomará de ella un puñado de flor de harina de la ofrenda de cereal, con su aceite y todo el incienso que hay en la ofrenda de cereal, y la quemará sobre el altar. Es aroma agradable, su ofrenda memorial para el Señor.

16 A aron and his sons are to eat what is left of it. It will be eaten as loaves without yeast in a holy place. They will eat it in the open space of the meeting tent.

Y lo que quede de ella, Aarón y sus hijos lo comerán. Debe comerse como tortas sin levadura en lugar santo; en el atrio de la tienda de reunión lo comerán.

17 I t will not be baked with yeast. I have given it as their share from My gifts by fire. It is most holy, like the sin gift and the guilt gift.

No se cocerá con levadura. Se la he dado como parte de Mis ofrendas encendidas; es cosa santísima, lo mismo que la ofrenda por el pecado y la ofrenda por la culpa.

18 E very male among the sons of Aaron may eat it. It is a Law forever for all your people, from the gifts by fire to the Lord. Whoever touches them will become holy.’”

Todo varón entre los hijos de Aarón puede comerla; es una ordenanza perpetua por todas las generaciones de ustedes tocante a las ofrendas encendidas para el Señor. Todo lo que las toque quedará consagrado.’”

19 T he Lord said to Moses,

Y el Señor le dijo a Moisés:

20 “ This is the gift which Aaron and his sons are to give to the Lord on the day when he is set apart: The tenth part of a basket of fine flour for a grain gift each day, half of it in the morning and half of it in the evening.

“Esta es la ofrenda que Aarón y sus hijos han de ofrecer al Señor el día de su unción: la décima parte de un efa (2. 2 litros) de flor de harina como ofrenda perpetua de cereal, la mitad por la mañana y la mitad por la tarde.

21 I t should be cooked with oil on top of a stove. Bring it when it is mixed well, and give the grain gift in baked pieces as a pleasing smell to the Lord.

Se preparará con aceite en una sartén, y cuando se haya mezclado bien la traerás. Ofrecerás la ofrenda de cereal en pedazos cocidos al horno como aroma agradable para el Señor.

22 T he religious leader among Aaron’s sons, who is chosen to be in his place, will give it. By a Law forever, all of it will be burned and given to the Lord.

La ofrecerá el sacerdote, que de entre los hijos de Aarón sea ungido en su lugar. Por ordenanza perpetua será totalmente quemada para el Señor.

23 E very grain gift of the religious leader will be all burned. It will not be eaten.” The Law of the Sin Gift

Así que toda ofrenda de cereal del sacerdote será totalmente quemada. No se comerá.”

24 T he Lord said to Moses,

Entonces el Señor habló a Moisés:

25 “ Tell Aaron and his sons, ‘This is the Law of the sin gift. The sin gift will be killed before the Lord in the place where the burnt gift is killed. It is most holy.

“Di a Aarón y a sus hijos: ‘Esta es la ley de la ofrenda por el pecado: la ofrenda por el pecado será ofrecida delante del Señor en el mismo lugar donde el holocausto es ofrecido; es cosa santísima.

26 T he religious leader who gives it for sin will eat it. It will be eaten in a holy place, in the open space of the meeting tent.

El sacerdote que la ofrezca por el pecado la comerá. Se comerá en un lugar santo, en el atrio de la tienda de reunión.

27 A nyone who touches its flesh will become holy. When any of its blood gets on a piece of clothing, wash the blood from the clothing in a holy place.

Todo el que toque su carne quedará consagrado; y si la sangre salpica sobre una vestidura, lavarás en un lugar santo lo que fue salpicado.

28 T he clay pot in which it was made ready should be broken. But if it was made ready in a brass pot, it should be well cleaned with water.

Y la vasija de barro en la cual fue hervida, será quebrada; y si se hirvió en una vasija de bronce, se restregará y se lavará con agua.

29 E very male among the religious leaders may eat of it. It is most holy.

Todo varón de entre los sacerdotes puede comer de ella; es cosa santísima.

30 B ut no sin gift should be eaten from which any blood is brought into the meeting tent to pay for sins in the holy place. It should be burned with fire.

Pero no se comerá de ninguna ofrenda por el pecado, cuya sangre se haya traído a la tienda de reunión para hacer expiación en el lugar santo; al fuego será quemada.
