Qua infatti furono eretti i troni per il giudizio, i troni della casa di Davide.

6 P ray for the peace of Jerusalem. May all go well for those who love you.

Pregate per la pace di Gerusalemme! Quelli che ti amano vivano tranquilli.

7 M ay there be peace within your walls. May all go well within your houses.

Ci sia pace all’interno delle tue mura e tranquillità nei tuoi palazzi!

8 I will now say, “May peace be within you,” for the good of my brothers and my friends.

Per amore dei miei fratelli e dei miei amici, io dirò: «La pace sia dentro di te!»

9 B ecause of the house of the Lord our God, I will pray for your good.

Per amore della casa del Signore, del nostro Dio, io cercherò il tuo bene.
