Destatevi, saltèrio e cetra, io voglio risvegliare l’alba.

3 I will give thanks to You among the people, O Lord. I will sing praises to You among the nations.

Ti celebrerò tra i popoli, o Signore, e a te salmeggerò fra le nazioni.

4 F or Your loving-kindness is great above the heavens. And Your truth can touch the sky.

Perché la tua bontà giunge fino ai cieli e la tua fedeltà fino alle nuvole.

5 B e lifted up high above the heavens, O God. Let Your shining-greatness be over all the earth.

Innàlzati, o Dio, al di sopra dei cieli, risplenda su tutta la terra la tua gloria!

6 S ave us with Your right hand and answer me. Let Your loved ones be set free.

Perché quelli che ami siano liberati, salvaci con la tua destra e ascoltaci.

7 G od has said in His holy place: “I will be full of joy. I will divide Shechem and the valley of Succoth.

Dio ha parlato nel suo santuario: «Io trionferò, dividerò Sichem e misurerò la valle di Succot.

8 G ilead is Mine. Manasseh is Mine. Ephraim is the covering for My head. Judah is My law giver.

Mio è Galaad, mio è Manasse, Efraim è l’elmo del mio capo, Giuda è il mio scettro.

9 M oab is where I wash My hands. I will throw My shoe over Edom. I will call out over Philistia that I have won.”

Moab è il catino dove mi lavo; sopra Edom getterò il mio sandalo; sulla Filistia proromperò in grida di trionfo».

10 W ho will bring me into the strong city? Who will lead me into Edom?

Chi mi guiderà alla città forte? Chi mi condurrà fino in Edom?

11 H ave You not turned away from us, O God? And will You not go out with our armies, O God?

Non sei forse tu, o Dio, che ci hai respinti e non esci più, o Dio, con i nostri eserciti?

12 O give us help against those who hate us. For the help of man is worth nothing.

Aiutaci a uscire dalle difficoltà, perché vano è il soccorso dell’uomo.

13 W ith God’s help we will do great things. And He will break under His feet those who fight against us.

Con Dio noi faremo cose grandi ed egli schiaccerà i nostri nemici.
