1 M y heart will not be moved, O God. I will sing. Yes, I will sing praises with my soul.

My heart is steadfast, God. I will sing and I will make music with my soul.

2 W ake up, different kinds of harps. I will wake up the new day.

Wake up, harp and lyre! I will wake up the dawn.

3 I will give thanks to You among the people, O Lord. I will sing praises to You among the nations.

I will give thanks to you, Yahweh, among the nations. I will sing praises to you among the peoples.

4 F or Your loving-kindness is great above the heavens. And Your truth can touch the sky.

For your loving kindness is great above the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.

5 B e lifted up high above the heavens, O God. Let Your shining-greatness be over all the earth.

Be exalted, God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth.

6 S ave us with Your right hand and answer me. Let Your loved ones be set free.

That your beloved may be delivered, save with your right hand, and answer us.

7 G od has said in His holy place: “I will be full of joy. I will divide Shechem and the valley of Succoth.

God has spoken from his sanctuary: “In triumph, I will divide Shechem, and measure out the valley of Succoth.

8 G ilead is Mine. Manasseh is Mine. Ephraim is the covering for My head. Judah is My law giver.

Gilead is mine. Manasseh is mine. Ephraim also is my helmet. Judah is my scepter.

9 M oab is where I wash My hands. I will throw My shoe over Edom. I will call out over Philistia that I have won.”

Moab is my wash pot. I will toss my sandal on Edom. I will shout over Philistia.”

10 W ho will bring me into the strong city? Who will lead me into Edom?

Who will bring me into the fortified city? Who has led me to Edom?

11 H ave You not turned away from us, O God? And will You not go out with our armies, O God?

Haven’t you rejected us, God? You don’t go out, God, with our armies.

12 O give us help against those who hate us. For the help of man is worth nothing.

Give us help against the enemy, for the help of man is vain.

13 W ith God’s help we will do great things. And He will break under His feet those who fight against us.

Through God, we will do valiantly. For it is he who will tread down our enemies.
