The sons of Levi were Gershon, Kohath and Merari.

2 С ыновья Каафа: Амрам, Ицгар, Хеврон и Узиил.

The sons of Kohath were Amram, Izhar, Hebron and Uzziel.

3 Д ети Амрама: Аарон, Моисей и Мирьям. Сыновья Аарона: Надав, Авиуд, Элеазар и Итамар.

The children of Amram were Aaron, Moses and Miriam. And the sons of Aaron were Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

4 Э леазар был отцом Пинехаса, Пинехас – отцом Авишуя,

Eleazar was the father of Phinehas. Phinehas was the father of Abishua.

5 А вишуй – отцом Буккия, Буккий – отцом Уззия,

Abishua was the father of Bukki. Bukki was the father of Uzzi.

6 У ззий – отцом Зерахии, Зерахия – отцом Мераиофа,

Uzzi was the father of Zerahiah. Zerahiah was the father of Meraioth.

7 М ераиоф – отцом Амарии, Амария – отцом Ахитува,

Meraioth was the father of Amariah. Amariah was the father of Ahitub.

8 А хитув – отцом Цадока, Цадок – отцом Ахимааца,

Ahitub was the father of Zadok. Zadok was the father of Ahimaaz.

9 А химаац – отцом Азарии, Азария – отцом Иоханана,

Ahimaaz was the father of Azariah. Azariah was the father of Johanan.

10 И оханан – отцом Азарии (это он был священником в храме, построенном Соломоном в Иерусалиме),

Johanan was the father of Azariah. (He was the one who served as the religious leader in the house which Solomon built in Jerusalem.)

11 А зария был отцом Амарии, Амария – отцом Ахитува,

Azariah was the father of Amariah. Amariah was the father of Ahitub.

12 А хитув – отцом Цадока, Цадок – отцом Шаллума,

Ahitub was the father of Zadok. Zadok was the father of Shallum.

13 Ш аллум – отцом Хелкии, Хелкия – отцом Азарии,

Shallum was the father of Hilkiah. Hilkiah was the father of Azariah.

14 А зария – отцом Сераи, и Серая – отцом Иоседека,

Azariah was the father of Seraiah. Seraiah was the father of Jehozadak.

15 И оседек попал в плен, когда Господь отправил в плен Иудею и Иерусалим рукою Навуходоносора. Другие потомки Левия

Jehozadak was taken away when the Lord carried Judah and Jerusalem away to a strange land by Nebuchadnezzar.

16 С ыновья Левия: Гершон, Кааф и Мерари.

The sons of Levi were Gershom, Kohath and Merari.

17 В от имена сыновей Гершона: Ливни и Шимей.

The names of the sons of Gershom were Libni and Shimei.

18 С ыновья Каафа: Амрам, Ицгар, Хеврон и Узиил.

The sons of Kohath were Amram, Izhar, Hebron and Uzziel.

19 С ыновья Мерари: Махли и Муши. Вот кланы левитов, исчисленные по их отцам:

The sons of Merari were Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites by their fathers’ houses.

20 у Гершона: его сын Ливни, его сын Иахат, его сын Зимма,

Of Gershom there were Libni his son, Jahath his son, Zimmah his son,

21 е го сын Иоах, его сын Иддо, его сын Зерах, его сын Иеатрай.

Joah his son, Iddo his son, Zerah his son, and Jeatherai his son.

22 П отомки Каафа: его сын Авинадав, его сын Корах, его сын Асир,

The sons of Kohath were Amminadab, Korah his son, Assir his son,

23 е го сын Элкана, его сын Евиасаф, его сын Асир,

Elkanah his son, Ebiasaph his son, Assir his son,

24 е го сын Тахаф, его сын Уриил, его сын Уззия, его сын Саул.

Tahath his son, Uriel his son, Uzziah his son, and Saul his son.

25 П отомки Элканы: Амасай и Ахимоф,

The sons of Elkanah were Amasai and Ahimoth,

26 е го сын Элкана, его сын Цофай, его сын Нахаф,

Elkanah his son, Zophai his son, Nahath his son,

27 е го сын Елиав, его сын Иерохам, его сын Элкана, его сын Самуил.

Eliab his son, Jeroham his son, and Elkanah his son.

28 С ыновья Самуила: Иоиль, его первенец, и Авия – второй сын.

The sons of Samuel were Joel the first-born, and Abijah the second.

29 П отомки Мерари: Махли, его сын Ливни, его сын Шимей, его сын Узза,

The sons of Merari were Mahli, Libni his son, Shimei his son, Uzzah his son,

30 е го сын Шаммуа, его сын Хаггия, его сын Асая. Обязанности левитов

Shimea his son, Haggiah his son, and Asaiah his son. Singers in the House of the Lord

31 В от те, кому Давид вверил песенную службу в доме Господнем, после того, как туда был перенесен ковчег.

David chose these men to lead the singing in the house of the Lord, after the special box with the Law of the Lord rested there.

32 О ни несли песенную службу перед скинией собрания, пока Соломон не выстроил Господу храм в Иерусалиме. Они исполняли свои обязанности по положенным для них установлениям.

They led the singing in front of the meeting tent until Solomon had built the house of the Lord in Jerusalem. And they took their places for their work at the right times.

These are the men who served, and their sons. From the sons of the Kohathites were Heman the singer, the son of Joel, son of Samuel,

son of Elkanah, son of Joel, son of Azariah, son of Zephaniah,

son of Tahath. Tahath was the son of Assir, son of Ebiasaph, son of Korah,

39 И брат Емана Асаф, который совершал службу справа от него: Асаф, сын Берехии, сына Шимы,

Heman’s brother Asaph stood at his right hand. Asaph was the son of Berechiah, son of Shimea,

40 с ына Михаила, сына Баасеи, сына Малхии,

son of Michael, son of Baaseiah, son of Malchijah,

41 с ына Ефния, сына Зераха, сына Адаи,

son of Ethni, son of Zerah. Zerah was the son of Adaiah,

42 с ына Етана, сына Зиммы, сына Шимея,

son of Ethan, son of Zimmah, son of Shimei,

43 с ына Иахафа, сына Гершона, сына Левия.

son of Jahath, son of Gershom, son of Levi.

44 А из их братьев, сыновей Мерари – с левой стороны: Етан, сын Кишия, сына Авдия, сына Маллуха,

On the left hand were their brothers the sons of Merari. There was Ethan the son of Kishi, son of Abdi, son of Malluch,

45 с ына Хашавии, сына Амасии, сына Хелкии,

son of Hashabiah, son of Amaziah. Amaziah was the son of Hilkiah,

46 с ына Амция, сына Бани, сына Шемера,

son of Amzi, son of Bani, son of Shemer,

47 с ына Махлия, сына Мушия, сына Мерари, сына Левия.

son of Mahli, son of Mushi, son of Merari, son of Levi.

48 И х братьям-левитам были поручены все прочие обязанности при доме Божьем.

Their brothers the Levites were chosen for all the work of the house of God. The Family of Aaron

49 А Аарон и его потомки совершали приношения на жертвеннике для всесожжений и на жертвеннике для возжигания благовоний, неся службу в Святом Святых, чтобы совершить отпущение за грехи Израиля, по всем повелениям Божьего слуги Моисея.

But Aaron and his sons gave the gifts on the altar of burnt gifts and on the altar of special perfume. They did all the work of the most holy place, to pay for the sins of Israel. They did all that Moses the servant of God had told them to do.

50 В от потомки Аарона: его сын Элеазар, его сын Пинехас, его сын Авишуа,

The sons of Aaron were Eleazar, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son,

51 е го сын Буккий, его сын Уззий, его сын Зерахия,

Bukki his son, Uzzi his son, Zerahiah his son,

52 е го сын Мераиоф, его сын Амария, его сын Ахитув,

Meraioth his son, Amariah his son, Ahitub his son,

53 е го сын Цадок, его сын Ахимаац. Поселения левитов (Нав. 21: 4-39)

Zadok his son, and Ahimaaz his son.

54 В от места их поселений, выделенные им в надел (они достались потомкам Аарона из клана Каафа, потому что им выпал первый жребий).

These are the places where they lived in their lands. The sons of Aaron of the families of the Kohathites were first to choose where to live.

55 И м отдали Хеврон, что в земле Иуды, с его окрестными пастбищами,

They were given Hebron in the land of Judah, and the fields around it.

56 н о поля и села вокруг города были отданы Халеву, сыну Иефоннии.

But the fields of the city and its towns were given to Caleb the son of Jephunneh.

57 И так, потомкам Аарона отдали города-убежища Хеврон, Ливну, Иаттир, Эштемоа,

The sons of Aaron were given cities where people go to be safe. These cities were Hebron, Libnah with its fields, Jatir, Eshtemoa with its fields,

58 Х илен, Давир,

Hilen with its fields, Debir with its fields,

59 А шан и Бет-Шемеш с их пастбищами.

Ashan with its fields, and Beth-shemesh with its fields.

60 О т рода Вениамина они получили Геву, Алемет и Анатот с их пастбищами. Городов, розданных каафитским кланам, было всего тринадцать.

From the family of Benjamin they were given Geba with its fields, Allemeth with its fields, and Anathoth with its fields. There were thirteen cities in all, by their families.

61 О стальные потомки Каафа по жребию получили десять городов от половины рода Манассии.

Ten cities were given, by drawing names, to the rest of the sons of Kohath. These cities were given from the families of the half-family group of Manasseh.

62 П отомки Гершона – по своим кланам – получили тринадцать городов от родов Иссахара, Асира и Неффалима и от той части рода Манассии, что в Башане.

Thirteen cities were given to the sons of Gershom, by their families. These cities were given from the families of Issachar, Asher, Naphtali, and Manasseh.

63 П отомки Мерари – по своим кланам – по жребию получили двенадцать городов от родов Рувима, Гада и Завулона.

Twelve cities were given, by drawing names, to the sons of Merari, by their families. These cities were given from the families of Reuben, Gad, and Zebulun.

64 Т ак израильтяне отдали эти города с их пастбищами левитам.

So the people of Israel gave to the Levites the cities with their fields.

65 О т родов Иуды, Симеона и Вениамина они получили по жребию те города, которые уже упомянуты.

By drawing names, they gave them these cities which are written here, from the families of the sons of Judah, Simeon and Benjamin.

66 Н екоторые из каафитских кланов получили в надел города от рода Ефрема.

Some of the families of the sons of Kohath had cities of their land from the family of Ephraim.

67 В нагорьях Ефрема они получили город-убежище Шехем, Гезер,

They were given cities where anyone could go to be safe. These cities were Shechem in the hill country of Ephraim with its fields, Gezer with its fields,

68 И окмеам, Бет-Хорон,

Jokmeam with its fields, Beth-horon with its fields,

69 А йялон и Гат-Риммон с их пастбищами.

Aijalon with its fields, and Gath-rimmon with its fields.

70 А из надела половины рода Манассии израильтяне дали остальным каафитским кланам Анер и Билеам с их пастбищами.

From the half-family group of Manasseh they were given Aner with its fields and Bileam with its fields. They were for the rest of the family of the sons of Kohath.

71 Г ершониты получили: от половины рода Манассии Голан, что в Башане, и Аштарот с их пастбищами.

Cities were given to the sons of Gershom from the half-family group of Manasseh. These cities were Golan in Bashan with its fields and Ashtaroth with its fields.

72 О т рода Иссахара они получили Кедеш, Давраф,

From the family of Issachar they were given Kedesh with its fields, Daberath with its fields,

73 Р амот и Анем с их пастбищами.

Ramoth with its fields, and Anem with its fields.

74 О т рода Асира они получили Машал, Авдон,

From the family of Asher they were given Mashal with its fields, Abdon with its fields,

75 Х укок и Рехов с их пастбищами.

Hukok with its fields, and Rehob with its fields.

76 О т рода Неффалима они получили Кедеш, что в Галилее, Хаммон и Кирьятаим с их пастбищами.

From the family of Naphtali they were given Kedesh in Galilee with its fields, Hammon with its fields, and Kiriathaim with its fields.

77 О стальные мерариты получили: от рода Завулона – Риммоно и Фавор с их пастбищами.

The rest of the Levites, the sons of Merari were given cities from the family of Zebulun. These cities were Rimmono with its fields and Tabor with its fields.

78 О т рода Рувима – за Иорданом, к востоку от Иерихона − они получили Бецер, что в пустыне, Иахац,

On the other side of the Jordan at Jericho, on the east side of the Jordan, they were given cities from the family of Reuben. These cities were Bezer in the desert with its fields, Jahzah with its fields,

79 К едемоф и Мефааф с их пастбищами.

Kedemoth with its fields, and Mephaath with its fields.

80 А от рода Гада они получили Рамот, что в Галааде, Маханаим,

From the family of Gad they were given Ramoth in Gilead with its fields, Mahanaim with its fields,

81 Х ешбон и Иазер с их пастбищами.

Heshbon with its fields, and Jazer with its fields.
