The sons of Levi were Gershon, Kohath and Merari.

2 А Каатови синове: Амрам, Исаар, Хеврон и Озиил;

The sons of Kohath were Amram, Izhar, Hebron and Uzziel.

3 а Амрамови чада: Аарон, Моисей и Мариам; а Ааронови синове: Надав, Авиуд, Елеазар и Итамар.

The children of Amram were Aaron, Moses and Miriam. And the sons of Aaron were Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

4 Е леазар роди Финееса; Финеес роди Ависуя;

Eleazar was the father of Phinehas. Phinehas was the father of Abishua.

5 А висуй роди Вукия; Вукия роди Озия;

Abishua was the father of Bukki. Bukki was the father of Uzzi.

6 О зий роди Зараия; Зараия роди Мераиота;

Uzzi was the father of Zerahiah. Zerahiah was the father of Meraioth.

7 М ераиот роди Амария; Амария роди Ахитова;

Meraioth was the father of Amariah. Amariah was the father of Ahitub.

8 А хитов роди Садока; Садок роди Ахимааса;

Ahitub was the father of Zadok. Zadok was the father of Ahimaaz.

9 А химаас роди Азария; Азария роди Ионатана;

Ahimaaz was the father of Azariah. Azariah was the father of Johanan.

10 И онатан роди Азария (той е оня, който Соломон построи в Ерусалим);

Johanan was the father of Azariah. (He was the one who served as the religious leader in the house which Solomon built in Jerusalem.)

11 а Азария роди Амария: Амария роди Ахитова;

Azariah was the father of Amariah. Amariah was the father of Ahitub.

12 А хитов роди Садока; Садок роди Селума;

Ahitub was the father of Zadok. Zadok was the father of Shallum.

13 С елум роди Хелкия; Хелкия роди Азария;

Shallum was the father of Hilkiah. Hilkiah was the father of Azariah.

14 А зария роди Сараия; а Сараия роди Иоседека.

Azariah was the father of Seraiah. Seraiah was the father of Jehozadak.

15 А Иоседек отиде в плен, когато Господ закара в плен Юда и Ерусалим чрез ръката на Навуходоносора.

Jehozadak was taken away when the Lord carried Judah and Jerusalem away to a strange land by Nebuchadnezzar.

The sons of Levi were Gershom, Kohath and Merari.

17 А ето имената на Гирсомовите синове: Ливний и Семей.

The names of the sons of Gershom were Libni and Shimei.

18 А Каатови синове бяха: Амрам, Исаар, Хеврон и Озиил.

The sons of Kohath were Amram, Izhar, Hebron and Uzziel.

19 М ерариеви синове бяха: Маалий и Мусий. И ето семействата на лавитите, според бащините им домове:

The sons of Merari were Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites by their fathers’ houses.

20 н а Гирсона: негов син, Ливний: негов син, Яат; негов син, Зима;

Of Gershom there were Libni his son, Jahath his son, Zimmah his son,

21 н егов син, Иоах

Joah his son, Iddo his son, Zerah his son, and Jeatherai his son.

22 С иновете на Каата: син му Аминадав

The sons of Kohath were Amminadab, Korah his son, Assir his son,

23 н егов син, Елкана; негов син, Авиасаф; негов син, Асир;

Elkanah his son, Ebiasaph his son, Assir his son,

24 н егов син, Тахат; негов син, Уриил; негов син, Озия; и негов син, Саул.

Tahath his son, Uriel his son, Uzziah his son, and Saul his son.

The sons of Elkanah were Amasai and Ahimoth,

The sons of Samuel were Joel the first-born, and Abijah the second.

The sons of Merari were Mahli, Libni his son, Shimei his son, Uzzah his son,

30 н егов син, Сама; негов син, Агия; негов син, Асаия.

Shimea his son, Haggiah his son, and Asaiah his son. Singers in the House of the Lord

31 И ето ония, които постави Давид над пеенето в службата в Господния дом, когато се намери трайно място за ковчега,

David chose these men to lead the singing in the house of the Lord, after the special box with the Law of the Lord rested there.

32 к оито слугуваха с пеене пред скинията, шатъра за срещане, докле Соломон построи Господния дом в Ерусалим, и стоеха на службата си според чина си;

They led the singing in front of the meeting tent until Solomon had built the house of the Lord in Jerusalem. And they took their places for their work at the right times.

33 е то ония, които стоеха с чадата си: от Каатови потомци - певецът Еман, син на Иоила, син на Самуила,

These are the men who served, and their sons. From the sons of the Kohathites were Heman the singer, the son of Joel, son of Samuel,

Heman’s brother Asaph stood at his right hand. Asaph was the son of Berechiah, son of Shimea,

On the left hand were their brothers the sons of Merari. There was Ethan the son of Kishi, son of Abdi, son of Malluch,

45 с ин на Асавия, син на Амасия, син на Хелкия,

son of Hashabiah, son of Amaziah. Amaziah was the son of Hilkiah,

46 с ин на Амсия, син на Вания, син на Самира,

son of Amzi, son of Bani, son of Shemer,

47 с ин на Маалия, син на Мусия, син на Мерария, син на Левия;

son of Mahli, son of Mushi, son of Merari, son of Levi.

48 и братята на левитите, които бяха определени за цялата служба в скинията на Божия дом.

Their brothers the Levites were chosen for all the work of the house of God. The Family of Aaron

49 А Аарон и потомците му принасяха принос върху олтара за всеизгарянето и върху кадилния олтар, като определени за цялата служба на пресветото място, и да правят умилостивение за Израиля, точно както заповяда Божият слуга Моисей.

But Aaron and his sons gave the gifts on the altar of burnt gifts and on the altar of special perfume. They did all the work of the most holy place, to pay for the sins of Israel. They did all that Moses the servant of God had told them to do.

50 И ето Аароновите потомци: негов син, Елеазар; негов син, Финеес; негов син, Ависуй;

The sons of Aaron were Eleazar, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son,

51 н егов син, Вукий; негов син, Озий; негов син, Зараия;;

Bukki his son, Uzzi his son, Zerahiah his son,

52 н егов син, Мараиот; негов син, Амария; негов син, Ахитов;

Meraioth his son, Amariah his son, Ahitub his son,

53 н егов син, Садок; и негов син, Ахимаас.

Zadok his son, and Ahimaaz his son.

54 И ето жилищата им според заселванията им в пределите им: на Аароновите потомци от семейството на каатците (защото на тях падна първото жребие),

These are the places where they lived in their lands. The sons of Aaron of the families of the Kohathites were first to choose where to live.

55 н а тях дадоха Хеврон в Юдовата земя, с пасбищата около него.

They were given Hebron in the land of Judah, and the fields around it.

56 О баче, нивите, на града и селата му дадоха на Халева Ефониевия син.

But the fields of the city and its towns were given to Caleb the son of Jephunneh.

57 А на Аароновите потомци дадоха тия Юдови градове: Хеврон прибежищния град, Ливна с пасбищата му,

The sons of Aaron were given cities where people go to be safe. These cities were Hebron, Libnah with its fields, Jatir, Eshtemoa with its fields,

58 И лен с пасбищата му, Девир с пасбищата му,

Hilen with its fields, Debir with its fields,

59 А сан++ с пасбищата му, и Витсемес с пасбищата му,

Ashan with its fields, and Beth-shemesh with its fields.

60 а от Вениаминовото племе, Гава с пасбищата му, Алемет с пасбищата му, и Анатот с пасбищата му; всичките им градове, според семействата им, бяха тринадесет града.

From the family of Benjamin they were given Geba with its fields, Allemeth with its fields, and Anathoth with its fields. There were thirteen cities in all, by their families.

61 И на Каатовите потомци, останали от семейството на племето, дадоха се с жребие десет града от половината Манасиево племе.

Ten cities were given, by drawing names, to the rest of the sons of Kohath. These cities were given from the families of the half-family group of Manasseh.

62 А на Гирсоновите потомци, според семействата им, от Исахаровото племе, от Асировото племе, от Нефталимовото племе и от Манасиевото племе във Васан се дадоха тринадесет града.

Thirteen cities were given to the sons of Gershom, by their families. These cities were given from the families of Issachar, Asher, Naphtali, and Manasseh.

63 Н а Мерариевите потомци, според семействата им, дадоха се с жребие от Рувимовото племе, от Гадовото племе и от Завулоновото племе дванадесет града.

Twelve cities were given, by drawing names, to the sons of Merari, by their families. These cities were given from the families of Reuben, Gad, and Zebulun.

64 И зраилтяните дадоха на левитите тия градове и пасбищата им.

So the people of Israel gave to the Levites the cities with their fields.

65 Д адоха с жребие тия градове, споменати по име, от племето на Юдовите потомци, и от племето на Симеоновите потомци, и от племето на Симеоновите потомци, и от племето на Симеоновите потомци, и от племето на Вениаминовите потомци.

By drawing names, they gave them these cities which are written here, from the families of the sons of Judah, Simeon and Benjamin.

66 А някои от семействата на Каатовите потомци получиха градове за притежанията си от Ефремовото племе.

Some of the families of the sons of Kohath had cities of their land from the family of Ephraim.

67 Д адоха им прибежищните градове: Сихем с пасбищата му, в Ефремовата хълмиста земя; Гезер с пасбищата му,

They were given cities where anyone could go to be safe. These cities were Shechem in the hill country of Ephraim with its fields, Gezer with its fields,

68 И окмеам+ с пасбищата му, Веторон с пасбищата му,

Jokmeam with its fields, Beth-horon with its fields,

69 Е алон с пасбищата му, Гетримон с пасбищата му,

Aijalon with its fields, and Gath-rimmon with its fields.

70 а , от половината на Манасиевото племе, Анир с пасбищата му, и Вилеам с пасбищата му; тях дадох на семействата на останалите Каатови потомци

From the half-family group of Manasseh they were given Aner with its fields and Bileam with its fields. They were for the rest of the family of the sons of Kohath.

71 Н а Гирсоновите потомци дадоха, от семействата на половината Манасиево племе, Голан във Васан с пасбищата му, и Астарот с пасбищата му;

Cities were given to the sons of Gershom from the half-family group of Manasseh. These cities were Golan in Bashan with its fields and Ashtaroth with its fields.

72 о т Исахаровото племе Кедес с пасбищата му, Даврат с пасбищата му,

From the family of Issachar they were given Kedesh with its fields, Daberath with its fields,

73 Р амот с пасбищата му и Аним с пасбищата му;

Ramoth with its fields, and Anem with its fields.

74 о т Асировото племе, Масал с пасбищата му, Авдон с пасбищата му.

From the family of Asher they were given Mashal with its fields, Abdon with its fields,

75 Х укок с пасбищата му, и Роов с пасбищата му;

Hukok with its fields, and Rehob with its fields.

76 а , от Нефталимовото племе, Кедес в Галилея с пасбищата му, Амон с пасбищата ме, и Кириатаим с пасбищата му.

From the family of Naphtali they were given Kedesh in Galilee with its fields, Hammon with its fields, and Kiriathaim with its fields.

77 А на останалите Мерариеви потомци дадоха, от Завулоновото племе, Римон с пасбищата му и Тавор с пасбищата му;

The rest of the Levites, the sons of Merari were given cities from the family of Zebulun. These cities were Rimmono with its fields and Tabor with its fields.

78 а оттатък Иордан при Ерихон, на изток от Иордан, дадоха, от Рувимовото племе, Восор в пустинята с пасбищата му, Яса с пасбищата му,

On the other side of the Jordan at Jericho, on the east side of the Jordan, they were given cities from the family of Reuben. These cities were Bezer in the desert with its fields, Jahzah with its fields,

79 К едимот с пасбищата му, и Мефаат с пасбищата му;

Kedemoth with its fields, and Mephaath with its fields.

80 а , от Гадовото племе, Рамот в Галаад с пасбищата му, Маханаим с пасбищата му,

From the family of Gad they were given Ramoth in Gilead with its fields, Mahanaim with its fields,

81 Е севон с пасбищата му и Язир с пасбищата му.

Heshbon with its fields, and Jazer with its fields.
