1 Г осподи, Ты испытал меня и знаешь меня.

O Lord, You have looked through me and have known me.

2 С ажусь ли я, встаю ли – Ты знаешь; мои мысли понимаешь издалека.

You know when I sit down and when I get up. You understand my thoughts from far away.

3 И ду ли я, отдыхаю ли – Ты видишь, и все пути мои знаешь.

You look over my path and my lying down. You know all my ways very well.

4 Н ет еще слова на моих устах, но Ты, Господи, его уже знаешь.

Even before I speak a word, O Lord, You know it all.

5 Т ы вокруг меня, и впереди, и позади, и кладешь на меня Свою руку.

You have closed me in from behind and in front. And You have laid Your hand upon me.

6 В едение Твое удивительно для меня, слишком велико для моего понимания.

All You know is too great for me. It is too much for me to understand.

7 К уда могу уйти от Твоего Духа? Куда могу убежать от Твоего присутствия?

Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I run away from where You are?

8 П однимусь ли на небеса – Ты там, сойду ли в мир мертвых – и там Ты.

If I go up to heaven, You are there! If I make my bed in the place of the dead, You are there!

9 В злечу ли на крыльях зари на востоке, поселюсь ли за дальними морями на западе,

If I take the wings of the morning or live in the farthest part of the sea,

10 д аже там Твоя рука поведет меня, Твоя правая рука удержит меня.

even there Your hand will lead me and Your right hand will hold me.

11 Е сли скажу: «Тьма сокроет меня, и свет превратится в ночь»,

If I say, “For sure the darkness will cover me and the light around me will be night,”

12 д аже тогда тьма не темна для Тебя, и ночь светла, как день: как тьма, так и свет.

even the darkness is not dark to You. And the night is as bright as the day. Darkness and light are the same to You.

13 Т ы создал все внутренности мои, в материнской утробе соткал меня.

For You made the parts inside me. You put me together inside my mother.

14 Б уду славить Тебя за то, что я так удивительно сотворен. Чудесны Твои дела, душа моя сознает это вполне.

I will give thanks to You, for the greatness of the way I was made brings fear. Your works are great and my soul knows it very well.

15 М ои кости не были сокрыты от Тебя, когда я был в тайне сотворен, образован в глубине материнской утробы.

My bones were not hidden from You when I was made in secret and put together with care in the deep part of the earth.

16 Т вои глаза видели мой зародыш, и в Твоей книге все мои дни были записаны, когда ни одного из них еще и не было.

Your eyes saw me before I was put together. And all the days of my life were written in Your book before any of them came to be.

17 К ак дороги для меня Твои мысли, Боже! Как велико их число!

Your thoughts are of great worth to me, O God. How many there are!

18 С тану исчислять их – они многочисленнее песка. Когда пробуждаюсь, я все еще с Тобой.

If I could number them, there would be more than the sand. When I awake, I am still with You.

19 О Боже, если бы Ты истребил нечестивых! Отойдите от меня, кровожадные!

If only You would kill the sinful, O God, and the men of blood would go away from me!

20 Н ечестиво они говорят против Тебя; Твои враги произносят Твое Имя напрасно

For they speak against You in sin. Those who hate You use Your name in a wrong way.

21 К ак не возненавидеть мне ненавидящих Тебя, Господи? Как не питать отвращение к тем, кто восстает против Тебя?

Do I not hate those who hate You, O Lord? And do I not hate those who rise up against You?

22 П олной ненавистью ненавижу их; Твои враги и для меня враги.

I hate them with the strongest hate. They have become men who hate me.

23 И спытай меня, Боже, и узнай мое сердце; испытай меня и узнай мои помышления.

Look through me, O God, and know my heart. Try me and know my thoughts.

24 П осмотри, не на опасном ли я пути и веди меня по пути вечному.

See if there is any sinful way in me and lead me in the way that lasts forever.
