1 О т Павла, Апостола, посланного не людьми и не человеком, а Иисусом Христом и Богом Отцом, воскресившим Его из мертвых,

This letter is from Paul. I am a missionary sent by Jesus Christ and God the Father Who raised Jesus from the dead. I am not sent by men or by any one man.

2 и от всех братьев, находящихся со мной, – церквам Галатии.

All the Christians join me in writing to you who are in the churches in the country of Galatia.

3 Б лагодать и мир вам от Бога Отца нашего и от Господа Иисуса Христа,

May you have loving-favor and peace from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

4 К оторый по воле нашего Бога и Отца отдал Себя Самого за наши грехи, чтобы избавить нас от этого мира зла.

He gave Him-self to die for our sins. He did this so we could be saved from this sinful world. This is what God wanted Him to do.

5 Е му пусть будет слава во веки веков, аминь! Нет иной Радостной Вести

May He have all the honor forever. Let it be so. Men Must Not Change the Good News

6 М еня удивляет то, что вы ради какой-то иной «Радостной Вести» так быстро оставили Бога, Который призвал вас благодатью Христа.

I am surprised you are leaving Christ so soon. You were chosen through His loving-favor. But now you are turning and listening to another kind of good news.

7 Н о иной Радостной Вести не существует, а просто есть люди, которые смущают вас, желая исказить Радостную Весть о Христе!

No! There is not another kind of good news. There are some who would like to lead you in the wrong way. They want to change the Good News about Christ.

8 Н о если бы даже мы сами или ангел с неба стали возвещать вам не ту Радостную Весть, что мы возвещали вам сначала, то пусть такие вестники будут навеки прокляты!

Even if we or an angel from heaven should preach another kind of good news to you that is not the one we preached, let him be cursed.

9 И еще раз повторяю: мы уже говорили об этом, и вы знаете, что если кто-либо будет возвещать вам что-то противное той Радостной Вести, которую вы приняли, то пусть они будут навеки прокляты!

As we said before, I will say it again. If any man is preaching another good news to you which is not the one you have received, let him be cursed. This Good News Is from God

10 Ч ье одобрение мне нужно: людей или Бога? Может, вы думаете, что я пытаюсь угодить людям? Если бы я к этому стремился, то я не был бы слугой Христа. Как Павел стал апостолом

Do you think I am trying to get the favor of men, or of God? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant owned by Christ.

11 Б ратья, я хочу, чтобы вы знали, что Радостная Весть, которую я вам возвещал, не является чем-то человеческим.

Christian brothers, I want you to know the Good News I preached to you was not made by man.

12 Я не был научен ей людьми и не получил ее от людей, но я получил ее через откровение Иисуса Христа.

I did not receive it from man. No one taught it to me. I received it from Jesus Christ as He showed it to me.

13 В ы слышали о моем прежнем образе жизни в иудаизме. Я изо всех сил гнал Церковь Божью и пытался уничтожить ее.

You have heard of my old life when I followed the Jewish religion. I made it as hard as I could for the Christians and did everything I could to destroy the Christian church.

14 В иудаизме я преуспевал больше многих моих сверстников. Я был исключительно ревностен, защищая традиции наших предков.

I had learned more about the Jewish religion than many of the Jews my age. I had a much stronger desire than they to follow the ways of our early fathers.

15 Н о когда Бог, избравший меня еще до моего рождения и призвавший меня Своей благодатью, захотел

But God chose me before I was born. By His loving-favor He called me to work for Him.

16 о ткрыть мне Сына Своего, чтобы я возвещал о Нем язычникам, я ни с кем из людей не советовался.

His Son was to be seen in me. He did this so I could preach about Christ to the people who are not Jews. When this happened, I did not talk to men.

17 Я не ходил в Иерусалим, чтобы встретиться с апостолами, призванными до меня, а сразу же пошел в Аравию и потом возвратился в Дамаск.

I did not even go to Jerusalem to talk to those who were missionaries before me. Instead, I went to the country of Arabia. Later I returned to the city of Damascus.

18 П отом, через три года, я посетил Иерусалим, познакомился с Кифой и пробыл у него пятнадцать дней.

Three years later I went to Jerusalem to meet Peter. I stayed with him fifteen days.

19 Я не видел больше никого из апостолов кроме Иакова, брата Господа.

I did not see any of the other missionaries except James, the Lord’s brother.

20 З аверяю вас перед Богом в том, что все, что я пишу вам, это не ложь.

I am writing the truth. God knows I am not lying.

21 П отом я пошел в Сирию и Киликию,

I went from Jerusalem to the countries of Syria and Cilicia.

22 а лично христианские церкви в Иудее тогда меня еще не знали.

None of the Christians in the churches in the country of Judea had ever seen me.

23 Д о них лишь доходили слухи о том, что тот, кто раньше преследовал их, сейчас возвещает веру, которую он сам когда-то хотел истребить.

The only thing they heard was, “The one who tried to destroy the Christian church is now preaching the Good News!”

24 И они прославляли Бога за меня.

And they gave thanks to God because of me.
