1 И исус продолжал учить народ в притчах, говоря:

Again Jesus spoke to them in picture-stories. He said,

2 – Царство Небесное можно сравнить со свадебным пиром, который один царь приготовил для своего сына.

“The holy nation of heaven is like a king who gave a wedding supper for his son.

3 О н разослал к приглашенным своих слуг, чтобы позвать их на свадьбу, но приглашенные не хотели прийти.

He sent his servants to tell the people, who had been asked, to come to the supper. But the people did not want to come.

4 Т огда царь послал других слуг, наказав им: «Пойдите и скажите им, что мой пир уже готов, зарезаны быки и другой откормленный скот, все угощение готово, пусть приходят на свадебный пир».

“He sent other servants, saying to them, ‘Tell those who have been asked to come, “See! My supper is ready. My cows and fat calves are killed. Everything is ready. Come to the wedding supper!”’

5 П риглашенные, однако, не обратили на это никакого внимания и разошлись. Один пошел на свое поле, другой торговать,

But they did not listen and went on working. One went to his farm. Another went to his store.

6 а некоторые даже схватили посланных слуг, унизили и убили их.

The others took hold of his servants, and hurt them and killed them.

7 Ц арь был разгневан. Он послал свое войско, уничтожил тех убийц и сжег их город.

“When the king heard this, he was very angry. He sent his soldiers to put those to death who had killed his servants. He burned their city.

8 П отом он сказал своим слугам: «Свадебный пир готов, но те, кого я пригласил, не заслужили чести быть на нем.

Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding supper is ready. Those who were asked to come to the supper were not good enough.

9 П ойдите теперь на перекрестки дорог и приглашайте на пир всех, кого вы встретите».

Go out into the roads and as many people as you can find, ask them to come to the wedding supper.’

10 С луги пошли по улицам и стали созывать всех, кого встречали, злых и добрых, и пиршественный зал наполнился гостями, которые возлежали за столами.

“The servants went out into the roads and brought all they could find, both bad and good. The wedding supper room was full of people.

11 К огда же царь пришел посмотреть на возлежащих, он заметил человека, на котором не было свадебной одежды.

The king came in to see those who had come. He saw one man who did not have on wedding supper clothes.

12 « Друг, – спросил царь, – как это ты вошел сюда без свадебной одежды?» Человеку нечего было сказать.

He said to him, ‘Friend, how did you get in here without wedding supper clothes?’ The man could not speak!

13 Т огда царь приказал слугам: «Свяжите его по рукам и ногам и выбросьте вон, во тьму, где будет плач и скрежет зубов».

Then the king said to his servants, ‘Tie his hands and feet, and throw him out into the darkness. In that place there will be loud crying and grinding of teeth.’

14 В едь приглашенных много, но избранных мало. Вопрос об уплате налогов (Мк. 12: 13-17; Лк. 20: 20-26)

For many are called but few are chosen.” The Proud Religious Law-Keepers Try to Trap Jesus

15 П осле этого фарисеи стали советоваться, как бы им поймать Иисуса на слове.

Then the proud religious law-keepers got together to think how they could trap Jesus in His talk.

16 О ни подослали к Нему своих учеников и иродиан. – Учитель, – спросили они, – мы знаем, что Ты Человек честный и истинно учишь пути Божьему. Ты беспристрастен и не стремишься никому угодить.

They sent their followers to Jesus with some of King Herod’s men. They asked, “Teacher, we know that You are true. We know that You are teaching the truth about God. We know You are not afraid of what men think or say about You.

17 С кажи нам, как Ты считаешь, следует ли платить налог кесарю или нет?

Tell us what You think of this. Is it right to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?”

18 И исус, зная их коварные намерения, сказал: – Лицемеры, вы хотите поймать Меня на слове?

Jesus knew their sinful thoughts and said, “You pretend to be someone you are not! Why do you try to trap Me?

19 П окажите Мне монету, которой платится дань. Они принесли Ему динарий.

Show Me a piece of money.” They brought Him a piece.

20 И исус спросил их: – Кто на ней изображен, и чье на ней имя?

Jesus said to them, “Whose picture is this? Whose name is on it?”

21 – Кесаря, – ответили они. Тогда Иисус сказал им: – Так и отдавайте кесарево кесарю, а Божье – Богу.

They said to Him, “Caesar’s.” Then He said to them, “Pay to Caesar the things that belong to Caesar. Pay to God the things that belong to God.”

22 У слышав это, они удивились, и, оставив Иисуса, они ушли. Саддукеи задают Иисусу вопрос о воскресении мертвых (Мк. 12: 18-27; Лк. 20: 27-40)

When they heard this, they were surprised and wondered about it. Then they went away from Him. They Ask about Being Raised from the Dead

23 В тот же день саддукеи, которые утверждают, что нет воскресения мертвых, подошли к Иисусу. Они спросили Его:

The same day some people from the religious group who believe no one will be raised from the dead came to Jesus. They asked,

24 – Учитель, Моисей сказал, что если человек умрет, не оставив детей, то его брат должен жениться на вдове и восстановить сына своему брату.

“Teacher, Moses said, ‘If a man should die without having children, then his brother must marry his wife. He should have children for his brother.’

25 Т ак вот, у нас тут было семеро братьев. Первый женился и умер бездетным, и вдова стала женой его брата.

There were seven brothers with us. The first was married but died before he had any children. The second brother then married the first brother’s wife.

26 Т о же самое произошло и со вторым, и с третьим, и со всеми семью братьями.

The second brother died and the same with the third and on to the seventh.

27 П осле всех умерла и женщина.

Then the woman died also.

28 И так, после воскресения, которому из семи братьев она будет женой? Ведь все были ее мужьями.

When people are raised from the dead, whose wife will she be of the seven? They all had her for a wife.”

29 И исус ответил: – Вы ошибаетесь, потому что не знаете ни Писаний, ни силы Божьей.

Jesus said to them, “You are wrong because you do not know the Holy Writings or the power of God.

30 В оскреснув, люди не будут ни жениться, ни выходить замуж, а будут как ангелы на небесах.

After people are raised from the dead, they do not marry. They are like the angels in heaven.

31 Ч то же касается воскресения мертвых, то разве вы не читали, что сказал вам Бог:

Have you not read what God said to you about those who are raised from the dead? He said,

32 « Я – Бог Авраама, Бог Исаака и Бог Иакова»? Он Бог не мертвых, а живых.

‘I am the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.’ He is not the God of the dead but of the living!”

33 Л юди слушали и удивлялись Его учению. Самая главная заповедь (Мк. 12: 28-31; Лк. 10: 25-28)

When the people heard this, they were surprised and wondered about His teaching. The Great Law

34 Ф арисеи же, услышав, как Иисус заставил замолчать саддукеев, собрались вокруг Него.

The proud religious law-keepers got together when they heard that the religious group of people who believe no one will be raised from the dead were not able to talk anymore to Jesus.

35 О дин из них, учитель Закона, чтобы поймать Иисуса на слове, спросил:

A proud religious law-keeper who knew the Law tried to trap Jesus. He said,

36 – Учитель, какая заповедь в Законе самая важная?

“Teacher, which one is the greatest of the Laws?”

37 И исус ответил: – «Люби Господа, Бога твоего, всем сердцем твоим и всей душой твоей и всем разумом твоим».

Jesus said to him, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’

38 Э то первая и самая важная заповедь.

This is the first and greatest of the Laws.

39 В торая же подобна ей: «Люби ближнего твоего, как самого себя».

The second is like it, ‘You must love your neighbor as you love yourself.’

40 В есь Закон и учение пророков основаны на этих двух заповедях. Кем является Христос? (Мк. 12: 35-37; Лк. 20: 41-44)

All the Laws and the writings of the early preachers depend on these two most important Laws.”

41 К огда фарисеи собрались вместе, Иисус спросил их:

The proud religious law-keepers were gathered together. Then Jesus asked,

42 – Что вы думаете о Мессии? Чей Он Сын? – Сын Давида, – ответили Ему.

“What do you think about the Christ? Whose Son is He?” They said to Him, “The Son of David.”

43 И исус говорит им: – Почему же тогда Давид, под водительством Духа, называет Его Господом? Ведь он говорит:

Jesus said to them, “Then how is it that David, being led by the Holy Spirit, calls Him ‘Lord’? He said,

44 « Сказал Господь Господу моему: Сядь по правую руку от Меня, пока Я не повергну врагов Твоих к ногам Твоим».

‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right side until I make those who hate You a place to rest Your feet.”’

45 И так, если Давид называет Его Господом, то как Он может быть ему Сыном?

If David calls Him ‘Lord,’ then how can He be the Son of David?”

46 В ответ никто не мог сказать ни слова, и с этого дня они больше не решались задавать Ему вопросы.

No one could answer a word, and after that day no one asked Him anything.
