These were the family groups of the sons of Aaron. The sons of Aaron were Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

2 Н о Надав и Авиуд умерли раньше отца, а сыновей у них не было; поэтому Элеазар и Итамар служили как священники.

Nadab and Abihu died before their father died. They had no sons, so Eleazar and Ithamar became the religious leaders.

3 С помощью Цадока, потомка Элеазара, и Ахимелеха, потомка Итамара, Давид разделил их на группы по установленным в служении обязанностям.

With the help of Zadok of the sons of Eleazar and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, David divided them by their given duties.

4 С реди потомков Элеазара оказалось больше глав семейств, чем среди потомков Итамара, и потому они были соответственно разделены: шестнадцать глав семейств из потомков Элеазара и восемь глав семейств из потомков Итамара.

More leaders were found from the sons of Eleazar than the sons of Ithamar. So they were divided in this way. There were sixteen heads of families of the sons of Eleazar. And there were eight heads of families of the sons of Ithamar.

5 О ни были разделены беспристрастно, по жребию, потому что главными в святилище и главными перед Богом были потомки Элеазара и потомки Итамара.

They were divided by drawing names, all alike. For there were leaders of the holy place and leaders of God, from both the sons of Eleazar and Ithamar.

6 П исарь Шемая, сын Нафанаила, левит, записал их имена в присутствии царя, вождей народа – священника Цадока, Ахимелеха, сына Авиатара и глав священнических и левитских семейств – одну семью брали из потомков Элеазара, а другую – из потомков Итамара.

The writer Shemaiah, the Levite son of Nethanel, wrote down their names. He wrote them in front of the king, the princes, Zadok the religious leader, Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and the heads of the families of the religious leaders and of the Levites. One family was taken for Eleazar, and one for Ithamar.

7 П ервый жребий выпал Иегоиариву, второй – Иедаии,

The first name drawn was Jehoiarib, the second Jedaiah,

8 т ретий – Хариму, четвертый – Сеориму,

the third Harim, the fourth Seorim,

9 п ятый – Малхии, шестой – Миямину,

the fifth Malchijah, the sixth Mijamin.

10 с едьмой – Гаккоцу, восьмой – Авии,

The seventh name was Hakkoz, the eighth Abijah,

11 д евятый – Иешую, десятый – Шекании,

the ninth Jeshua, the tenth Shecaniah,

12 о диннадцатый – Элиашиву, двенадцатый – Иакиму,

the eleventh Eliashib, the twelfth Jakim.

13 т ринадцатый – Хупаю, четырнадцатый – Иешеваву,

The thirteenth name was Huppah, the fourteenth Jeshebeab,

14 п ятнадцатый – Вилге, шестнадцатый – Иммеру,

the fifteenth Bilgah, the sixteenth Immer.

15 с емнадцатый – Хезиру, восемнадцатый – Гапицецу,

The seventeenth name was Hezir, the eighteenth Happizzez,

16 д евятнадцатый – Петахии, двадцатый – Иезекиилю,

the nineteenth Pethahiah, the twentieth Jehezkel.

17 д вадцать первый – Иахину, двадцать второй – Гамулу,

The twenty-first name was Jachin, the twenty-second Gamul,

18 д вадцать третий – Делаи и двадцать четвертый – Маазии.

the twenty-third Delaiah, and the twenty-fourth Maaziah.

19 Т аков был установленный порядок их служения, когда они входили в дом Господа по установлениям, которые оставил им их праотец Аарон, как повелел ему Господь, Бог Израиля. Распределение остальных левитов

This was the way they were to come on duty to work in the Lord’s house. It was a rule given to them through their father Aaron, just as the Lord God of Israel had told him.

20 В от имена остальных потомков Левия. Из сыновей Амрама: Шуваил; из сыновей Шуваила: Иехдия.

The rest of the sons of Levi were Shubael of the sons of Amram, Jehdeiah of the sons of Shubael,

21 И з сыновей Рехавии: Ишшия был первым.

and Isshiah was the first of the sons of Rehabiah.

22 И з ицгаритов: Шеломоф; из сыновей Шеломофа: Иахат.

There was Shelomoth of the Izharites, and Jahath of the sons of Shelomoth.

23 С ыновья Хеврона: первый – Иерия, второй – Амария, третий – Иахазиил и четвертый – Иекамам.

Of the sons of Hebron, there were Jeriah the first, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, and Jekameam the fourth.

24 С ын Узиила: Миха; из сыновей Михи: Шамир.

There was Micah of the sons of Uzziel, and Shamir of the sons of Micah.

25 Б рат Михи: Ишшия; из сыновей Ишшии: Захария.

The brother of Micah was Isshiah. There was Zechariah of the sons of Isshiah.

26 С ыновья Мерари: Махли и Муши. Сын Иаазии: Бено.

The sons of Merari were Mahli and Mushi. Jaaziah’s son was Beno.

27 И з сыновей Мерари: у Иаазии: Бено, Шогам, Заккур и Иври;

The sons of Merari by Jaaziah were Beno, Shoham, Zaccur and Ibri.

28 у Махли: Элеазар, у которого не было сыновей;

His son by Mahli was Eleazar, who had no sons.

29 у Киша: Иерахмеил;

His son by Kish was Jerahmeel.

30 у Муши: Махли, Едер и Иеримот. Это левиты по их кланам.

And the sons of Mushi were Mahli, Eder and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites by their families.

31 О ни тоже бросали жребий, как и их братья, потомки Аарона, в присутствии царя Давида, Цадока, Ахимелеха и глав священнических и левитских семейств. Семьи старших братьев были уравнены в правах с семьями младших.

The head of each family and his younger brother drew names just as their brothers the sons of Aaron did. They drew them in front of King David, Zadok, Ahimelech, and the heads of the families of the religious leaders and of the Levites.
