1 D eliver me, Yahweh, from the evil man. Preserve me from the violent man;

Избавь меня, Господи, от злого человека, сохрани меня от жестоких.

2 t hose who devise mischief in their hearts. They continually gather themselves together for war.

3 T hey have sharpened their tongues like a serpent. Viper’s poison is under their lips. Selah.

4 Y ahweh, keep me from the hands of the wicked. Preserve me from the violent men who have determined to trip my feet.

Сохрани меня, Господи, от рук нечестивых, огради от жестоких, желающих поколебать мои стопы.

5 T he proud have hidden a snare for me, they have spread the cords of a net by the path. They have set traps for me. Selah.

Высокомерные спрятали силки для меня и петли, разложили сеть по дороге, расставили для меня западню. Пауза

6 I said to Yahweh, “You are my God.” Listen to the cry of my petitions, Yahweh.

Я сказал Господу: «Ты – мой Бог; услышь голос моих молений, Господи!

7 Y ahweh, the Lord, the strength of my salvation, you have covered my head in the day of battle.

Владыка Господи, сила моего спасения, Ты прикрыл мою голову в день сражения.

8 Y ahweh, don’t grant the desires of the wicked. Don’t let their evil plans succeed, or they will become proud. Selah.

Не дай, Господи, желаемого нечестивому, не дай успеха его злому замыслу, чтобы не возгордился». Пауза

9 A s for the head of those who surround me, let the mischief of their own lips cover them.

Пусть головы окружающих меня покроет несчастье их собственных уст.

10 L et burning coals fall on them. Let them be thrown into the fire, into miry pits, from where they never rise.

Пусть падут на них горящие угли; пусть будут они повержены в огонь, в глубокую пропасть, откуда не подняться им.

11 A n evil speaker won’t be established in the earth. Evil will hunt the violent man to overthrow him.

Пусть не утвердится на земле злоязычный человек; пусть зло преследует жестоких на погибель им.

12 I know that Yahweh will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and justice for the needy.

Я знаю, что Господь даст правосудие бедным и заступится за нищих.

13 S urely the righteous will give thanks to your name. The upright will dwell in your presence.

Поистине, праведные будут славить Твое Имя; честные будут жить в Твоем присутствии.
