1 “ Come, and let us return to Yahweh; for he has torn us to pieces, and he will heal us; he has injured us, and he will bind up our wounds.

– В своем страдании они будут настойчиво искать Меня: «Пойдем и вернемся к Господу. Он поразил нас, но Он же и исцелит нас. Он поранил нас, но Он перевяжет наши раны.

2 A fter two days he will revive us. On the third day he will raise us up, and we will live before him.

Через два дня Он оживит нас, а на третий день Он восстановит нас, чтобы мы жили в Его присутствии.

3 L et us acknowledge Yahweh. Let us press on to know Yahweh. As surely as the sun rises, Yahweh will appear. He will come to us like the rain, like the spring rain that waters the earth.”

Узнаем же Господа. Будем стремиться узнать Его. Верно как и то, что восходит солнце, Он явится. Он придет к нам, как дождь, подобно весенним дождям, что орошают землю».

4 “ Ephraim, what shall I do to you? Judah, what shall I do to you? For your love is like a morning cloud, and like the dew that disappears early.

– Что же Мне делать с тобой, Ефрем? Что же Мне делать с тобой, Иудея? Ваша верность как утренний туман, словно роса, что вскоре исчезает.

5 T herefore I have cut them to pieces with the prophets; I killed them with the words of my mouth. Your judgments are like a flash of lightning.

Поэтому Я резал вас на куски через Моих пророков. Я убивал вас словами Моих уст. Словно молния, вспыхнул Мой суд над вами.

6 F or I desire mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

Ведь Я милости хочу, а не жертвы, и познания Бога более, нежели всесожжения.

7 B ut they, like Adam, have broken the covenant. They were unfaithful to me, there.

Подобно Адаму, вы нарушили завет; там вы не были Мне верны.

8 G ilead is a city of those who work iniquity; it is stained with blood.

Галаад запятнан кровью, город нечестивых людей.

9 A s gangs of robbers wait to ambush a man, so the company of priests murder on the path toward Shechem, committing shameful crimes.

Сборище священников подобно разбойникам, которые сидят в засаде в ожидании человека. Они убивают на пути в Шехем, совершая гнусные преступления.

10 I n the house of Israel I have seen a horrible thing. There is prostitution in Ephraim. Israel is defiled.

В доме Израиля Я увидел ужасную вещь. Там Ефрем предается распутству, осквернил себя Израиль.

11 “ Also, Judah, there is a harvest appointed for you, when I restore the fortunes of my people.

И для тебя, Иудея, назначена жатва. Когда Я верну Мой народ из плена,
