1 A nd again he began to teach by the sea, and there was gathered unto him a great multitude, so that he, having gone into the boat, sat in the sea, and all the multitude was near the sea, on the land,

И пак започна да поучава край езерото. И събра се при Него едно твърде голямо множество, така щото Той влезе в една ладия и седеше на езерото; а цялото множество беше на сушата край езерото.

2 a nd he taught them many things in similes, and he said to them in his teaching:

И поучаваше ги много с притчи, и казваше им в поучението Си:

3 ` Hearken, lo, the sower went forth to sow;

Слушайте: Ето, сеячът излезе да сее.

4 a nd it came to pass, in the sowing, some fell by the way, and the fowls of the heaven did come and devour it;

И когато сееше, някои <зърна> паднаха край пътя; и птиците дойдоха и ги изкълваха:

5 a nd other fell upon the rocky ground, where it had not much earth, and immediately it sprang forth, because of not having depth of earth,

Други паднаха на канаристо място, гдето нямаше много пръст, и скоро поникнаха, защото нямаше дълбока почва;

6 a nd the sun having risen, it was scorched, and because of not having root it did wither;

а когато изгря слънцето, пригоряха, и понеже нямаха корен, изсъхнаха.

7 a nd other fell toward the thorns, and the thorns did come up, and choke it, and fruit it gave not;

И други паднаха между тръните; и тръните пораснаха и ги заглушиха, и не дадоха плод.

8 a nd other fell to the good ground, and was giving fruit, coming up and increasing, and it bare, one thirty-fold, and one sixty, and one an hundred.'

А другите паднаха на добрата земя, и даваха плод, който растеше и се умножаваше, и принесоха кое тридесет, кое шестдесет и кое сто.

9 A nd he said to them, `He who is having ears to hear -- let him hear.'

И каза: Който има уши да слуша, нека слуша.

10 A nd when he was alone, those about him, with the twelve, did ask him of the simile,

И когато остана сам, ония, които бяха около Него с дванадесетте, Го попитаха за притчите.

11 a nd he said to them, `To you it hath been given to know the secret of the reign of God, but to those who are without, in similes are all the things done;

И каза им: На вас е дадено <да познаете> тайната на Божието царство; а на ония, външните всичко бива в притчи;

12 t hat seeing they may see and not perceive, and hearing they may hear and not understand, lest they may turn, and the sins may be forgiven them.'

тъй щото гледащи да гледат, а да не виждат, и слушащи да слушат, а да не разбират, да не би да се обърнат и да им се прости.

13 A nd he saith to them, `Have ye not known this simile? and how shall ye know all the similes?

И казва им: Не разбирате ли тая притча? а как ще разберете всичките притчи?

14 H e who is sowing doth sow the word;

Сеячът сее словото.

15 a nd these are they by the way where the word is sown: and whenever they may hear, immediately cometh the Adversary, and he taketh away the word that hath been sown in their hearts.

А ония край пътя, гдето се сее словото, са тия, които като чуват, Сатана веднага дохожда и грабва посеяното в тях слово.

16 ` And these are they, in like manner, who on the rocky ground are sown: who, whenever they may hear the word, immediately with joy do receive it,

Също и посяното на канаристите места са тия които, като чуват словото, веднага с радост го приемат;

17 a nd have not root in themselves, but are temporary; afterward tribulation or persecution having come because of the word, immediately they are stumbled.

нямат, обаче, корен в себе си, но са привременни; после, като настане напаст или гонение, поради словото, веднага се съблазняват.

18 ` And these are they who toward the thorns are sown: these are they who are hearing the word,

Посяното между тръните са други; те са ония, които са слушали словото;

19 a nd the anxieties of this age, and the deceitfulness of the riches, and the desires concerning the other things, entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

а светските грижи, примамката на богатството, и пожеланията за други работи, като влязат, заглушават словото, и то става безплодно.

20 ` And these are they who on the good ground have been sown: who do hear the word, and receive, and do bear fruit, one thirty-fold, and one sixty, and one an hundred.'

А посяното на добрата земя са тия, които слушат словото, приемат го, и дават плод, тридесет, шестдесет, и стократно.

21 A nd he said to them, `Doth the lamp come that under the measure it may be put, or under the couch -- not that it may be put on the lamp-stand?

И каза им: Затова ли се донася светилото, за да го турят под шиника или под леглото? Не за това ли, да го поставят на светилника?

22 f or there is not anything hid that may not be manifested, nor was anything kept hid but that it may come to light.

Защото няма нещо тайно освен за да се яви; нито е имало <нещо> спотаено, освен за да излезе наяве.

23 I f any hath ears to hear -- let him hear.'

Ако има някой уши да слуша, нека слуша.

24 A nd he said to them, `Take heed what ye hear; in what measure ye measure, it shall be measured to you; and to you who hear it shall be added;

Каза им тоже: Внимавайте в това, което слушате. С каквато мярка мерите ще ви се отмери, и ще ви се прибави.

25 f or whoever may have, there shall be given to him, and whoever hath not, also that which he hath shall be taken from him.'

Защото който има, нему ще се даде, а който няма от него ще се отнеме и това което има.

26 A nd he said, `Thus is the reign of God: as if a man may cast the seed on the earth,

И каза: Божието царство е също, както кога човек хвърли семе в земята.

27 a nd may sleep, and may rise night and day, and the seed spring up and grow, he hath not known how;

и спи и става нощ и ден; а как никне и расте, той не знае.

28 f or of itself doth the earth bear fruit, first a blade, afterwards an ear, afterwards full corn in the ear;

Земята сама по себе си произвежда, първо ствол, после клас, подир това пълно зърно в класа.

29 a nd whenever the fruit may yield itself, immediately he doth send forth the sickle, because the harvest hath come.'

А когато узрее плодът, на часа изпраща сърпа, защото е настанала жетва.

30 A nd he said, `To what may we liken the reign of God, or in what simile may we compare it?

При това каза: На какво да оприличим Божието царство? или с каква притча да го представим?

31 A s a grain of mustard, which, whenever it may be sown on the earth, is less than any of the seeds that are on the earth;

То прилича на синапово зърно, което, когато се посее в земята, е по-малко от всичките семена, които са на земята;

32 a nd whenever it may be sown, it cometh up, and doth become greater than any of the herbs, and doth make great branches, so that under its shade the fowls of the heaven are able to rest.'

но когато се посее, расте, и става по-голямо от всичките злакове, и пуска големи клони, така че под сянката му могат да се подслонят небесните птици.

33 A nd with many such similes he was speaking to them the word, as they were able to hear,

С много такива притчи им прогласяваше словото, според както можеха да слушат.

34 a nd without a simile he was not speaking to them, and by themselves, to his disciples he was expounding all.

А без притча не им говореше; но насаме обясняваше всичко на Своите ученици.

35 A nd he saith to them on that day, evening having come, `We may pass over to the other side;'

И в същия ден, когато се свечери<, Исус> им казва: Да минем на отвъдната страна.

36 a nd having let away the multitude, they take him up as he was in the boat, and other little boats also were with him.

И като оставиха народа, вземат Го със себе си в ладията, тъй както бе; и имаше други ладии с Него.

37 A nd there cometh a great storm of wind, and the waves were beating on the boat, so that it is now being filled,

И дига се голяма ветрена буря, и вълните се нахвърляха в ладията, тъй че тя вече се пълнеше с вода.

38 a nd he himself was upon the stern, upon the pillow sleeping, and they wake him up, and say to him, `Teacher, art thou not caring that we perish?'

А Той беше на задната част, заспал на възглавница; и те Го събуждат и Му казват: Учителю! нима не Те е грижа че загиваме?

39 A nd having waked up, he rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, `Peace, be stilled;' and the wind did lull, and there was a great calm:

И Той, като се събуди, смъмра вятъра и рече на езерото: Мълчи! утихни! И вятърът престана, и настана голяма тишина.

40 a nd he said to them, `Why are ye so fearful? how have ye not faith?'

И рече им: Защо сте страхливи? Още ли нямате вяра?

41 a nd they feared a great fear, and said one to another, `Who, then, is this, that even the wind and the sea do obey him?'

И голям страх ги обзе; и те си казаха един на друг: Кой е прочее, Тоя, че и вятърът и езерото Му се покоряват?
