1 A nd it cometh to pass, at the end of two years of days that Pharaoh is dreaming, and lo, he is standing by the River,

Като изминаха две години Фараон сънува, че стоеше при Нил {Еврейски: реката.}.

2 a nd lo, from the River coming up are seven kine, of fair appearance, and fat flesh, and they feed among the reeds;

И, ето, седем крави, хубави и тлъсти, излизаха из реката и пасяха в тръстиката.

3 a nd lo, seven other kine are coming up after them out of the River, of bad appearance, and lean flesh, and they stand near the kine on the edge of the River,

А, ето, след тях излизаха из реката други седем крави, грозни и мършави, и стояха при <първите> крави на речния бряг.

4 a nd the kine of bad appearance and lean flesh eat up the seven kine of fair appearance, and fat -- and Pharaoh awaketh.

И грозните, мършави крави изядоха седемте хубави и тлъсти крави. Тогава Фараон се пробуди.

5 A nd he sleepeth, and dreameth a second time, and lo, seven ears are coming up on one stalk, fat and good,

А като заспа сънува втори път; и, ето, седем класа пълни и добри израснаха из едно стъбло.

6 a nd lo, seven ears, thin, and blasted with an east wind, are springing up after them;

А, ето, след тях израснаха <други> седем класа тънки и прегорели от източния вятър.

7 a nd the thin ears swallow the seven fat and full ears -- and Pharaoh awaketh, and lo, a dream.

И тънките класове погълнаха седемте дебели и пълни класове. А като се събуди Фараон, ето, беше сън.

8 A nd it cometh to pass in the morning, that his spirit is moved, and he sendeth and calleth all the scribes of Egypt, and all its wise men, and Pharaoh recounteth to them his dream, and there is no interpreter of them to Pharaoh.

На сутринта духът му беше смутен; той, прочее, изпрати да му повикат всичките влъхви и всичките мъдреци в Египет, и Фараон им разказа сънищата си; но нямаше кой да ги изтълкува на Фараона.

9 A nd the chief of the butlers speaketh with Pharaoh, saying, `My sin I mention this day:

Тогава началникът на виночерпците говори на Фараона, казвайки: Днес се сещам, че съм виновен.

10 P haraoh hath been wroth against his servants, and giveth me into charge in the house of the chief of the executioners, me and the chief of the bakers;

Фараон беше се разгневил на слугите си и ме хвърли, мене и началника на хлебарите, в тъмница, в дома на началника на телохранителите.

11 a nd we dream a dream in one night, I and he, each according to the interpretation of his dream we have dreamed.

И сънувахме, аз и той, в същата нощ; сънувахме, всеки според както щеше да се тълкува съновидението му.

12 A nd there with us a youth, a Hebrew, servant to the chief of the executioners, and we recount to him, and he interpreteth to us our dreams, each according to his dream hath he interpreted,

А заедно с нас беше там един млад евреин, слуга на началника на телохранителите; и като му разказахме, той ни разтълкува сънищата; на всеки <от нас>, според съновидението му, даде значението.

13 a nd it cometh to pass, as he hath interpreted to us so it hath been, me he put back on my station, and him he hanged.'

И според както ни изтълкува, така и стана; мене той възстанови на службата ми, а него обеси.

14 A nd Pharaoh sendeth and calleth Joseph, and they cause him to run out of the pit, and he shaveth, and changeth his garments, and cometh in unto Pharaoh.

Тогава Фараон направи да повикат Иосифа, и бързо го изведоха из тъмницата; и той се обръсна, преоблече се и дойде при Фараона.

15 A nd Pharaoh saith unto Joseph, `A dream I have dreamed, and there is no interpreter of it, and I -- I have heard concerning thee, saying, Thou understandest a dream to interpret it,'

И Фараон каза на Иосифа: Сънувах, но няма кой да изтълкува съня; но аз чух да казват за тебе, че като чуеш съновидение, умееш да го тълкуваш.

16 a nd Joseph answereth Pharaoh, saying, `Without me -- God doth answer Pharaoh with peace.'

А Иосиф в отговор каза на Фараона: Не аз, Бог ще даде на Фараона отговор с мир.

17 A nd Pharaoh speaketh unto Joseph: `In my dream, lo, I am standing by the edge of the River,

Тогава Фараон каза на Иосифа: В съня си, ето, стоях край брега на Нил {Еврейски: реката.}.

18 a nd lo, out of the River coming up are seven kine, fat flesh, and of fair form, and they feed among the reeds;

И, ето, седем крави тлъсти и хубави излязоха из реката и пасяха в тръстиката.

19 a nd lo, seven other kine are coming up after them, thin, and of very bad form, and lean flesh; I have not seen like these in all the land of Egypt for badness.

И, ето, след тях излязоха други седем крави, слаби, много грозни и мършави, каквито по грозота никога не съм видял в цялата Египетска земя.

20 ` And the lean and the bad kine eat up the first seven fat kine,

И мършавите, грозни крави изядоха първите седем тлъсти крави;

21 a nd they come in unto their midst, and it hath not been known that they have come in unto their midst, and their appearance bad as at the commencement; and I awake.

но пак, като ги изядоха не се познаваше, че са ги изяли; но изгледът им беше тъй грозен, както и в началото. Тогава се пробудих.

22 ` And I see in my dream, and lo, seven ears are coming up on one stalk, full and good;

После видях в съня си; и, ето, седем класа пълни и добри израстнаха из едно стъбло.

23 a nd lo, seven ears, withered, thin, blasted with an east wind, are springing up after them;

И, ето, след тях израснаха други седем класа, сухи, тънки и прегорели от източния вятър;

24 a nd the thin ears swallow the seven good ears; and I tell unto the scribes, and there is none declaring to me.'

тънките класове погълнаха седемте добри класове. И казах <съновидението> на влъхвите; но нямаше кой да ми го изтълкува.

25 A nd Joseph saith unto Pharaoh, `The dream of Pharaoh is one: that which God is doing he hath declared to Pharaoh;

Тогава Иосиф каза на Фараона: Фараоновият сън е един; Бог е явил на Фараона това, което скоро ще направи.

26 t he seven good kine are seven years, and the seven good ears are seven years, the dream is one;

Седемте добри крави са седем години; и седемте добри класове са седем години, сънят е един.

27 a nd the seven thin and bad kine which are coming up after them are seven years, and the seven empty ears, blasted with an east wind, are seven years of famine;

А седемте мършави и грозни крави, които излязоха след тях, са седем години, както и седемте празни класове, прегорели от източния вятър; те ще бъдат седем години на глад.

28 t his the thing which I have spoken unto Pharaoh: That which God is doing, he hath shewn Pharaoh.

Това е, което казах на Фараона; Бог е явил на Фараона това, което скоро ще направи.

29 ` Lo, seven years are coming of great abundance in all the land of Egypt,

Ето идат седем години на голямо плодородие по цялата Египетска земя.

30 a nd seven years of famine have arisen after them, and all the plenty is forgotten in the land of Egypt, and the famine hath finished the land,

А след тях ще дойдат седем години на глад; всичкото плодородие ще се забрави в Египетската земя, защото гладът ще опустоши земята.

31 a nd the plenty is not known in the land because of that famine afterwards, for it very grievous.

Няма да се познае плодородието на земята, поради оня глад, който ще последва; защото ще бъде твърде тежък.

32 ` And because of the repeating of the dream unto Pharaoh twice, surely the thing is established by God, and God is hastening to do it.

А това, дето съновидението се повтори на Фараона два пъти, <означава>, че това е решено от Бога и, че Бог скоро ще го извърши.

33 ` And now, let Pharaoh provide a man, intelligent and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt;

Прочее, нека потърси Фараон умен и мъдър човек и нека го постави над Египетската земя.

34 l et Pharaoh make and appoint overseers over the land, and receive a fifth of the land of Egypt in the seven years of plenty,

Нека стори Фараон <това> и нека постави надзиратели над земята; и в седемте плодородни години нека събере петата част от< произведенията> на Египетската земя.

35 a nd they gather all the food of these good years that are coming, and heap up corn under the hand of Pharaoh -- food in the cities; and they have kept,

Нека съберат всичката храна на тия добри години, които идат; и събраното жито нека бъде под Фараоновата власт, за храна в градовете, и нека го пазят.

36 a nd the food hath been for a store for the land, for the seven years of famine which are in the land of Egypt; and the land is cut off by the famine.'

И храната ще се запази за седемте гладни години, които ще настанат в Египетската земя, за да не се опустоши земята от глада.

37 A nd the thing is good in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of all his servants,

Това нещо беше угодно на Фараона и на всичките му слуги.

38 a nd Pharaoh saith unto his servants, `Do we find like this, a man in whom the spirit of God ?'

И Фараон каза на слугите си: Можем ли да намерим човек, като тоя, в когото има Божия Дух?

39 a nd Pharaoh saith unto Joseph, `After God's causing thee to know all this, there is none intelligent and wise as thou;

Тогава Фараон каза на Иосифа: Понеже Бог ти откри всичко това, няма никой толкова умен и мъдър, колкото си ти.

40 t hou -- thou art over my house, and at thy mouth do all my people kiss; only in the throne I am greater than thou.'

Ти ще бъдеш над дома ми, и всичките ми люде ще слушат твоите думи; само с престола аз ще бъда по-горен от тебе.

41 A nd Pharaoh saith unto Joseph, `See, I have put thee over all the land of Egypt.'

Фараон още каза на Иосифа: Виж, поставям те над цялата Египетска земя.

42 A nd Pharaoh turneth aside his seal-ring from off his hand, and putteth it on the hand of Joseph, and clotheth him garments of fine linen, and placeth a chain of gold on his neck,

Тогава Фараон извади пръстена си от ръката си и го тури на Иосифовата ръка, облече го в дрехи от висон и окачи му златно огърлие на шията.

43 a nd causeth him to ride in the second chariot which he hath, and they proclaim before him, `Bow the knee!' and -- to put him over all the land of Egypt.

После нареди да го возят на втората колесница, и викаха пред него: Коленичете! И така го постави над цялата Египетска земя.

44 A nd Pharaoh saith unto Joseph, `I Pharaoh, and without thee a man doth not lift up his hand and his foot in all the land of Egypt;'

При това, Фараон каза на Иосифа: Аз съм владетел {Еврейски: Фараон}, но без тебе никой няма да дигне ръка или нога по цялата Египетска земя.

45 a nd Pharaoh calleth Joseph's name Zaphnath-Paaneah, and he giveth to him Asenath daughter of Poti-Pherah, priest of On, for a wife, and Joseph goeth out over the land of Egypt.

И Фараон наименува Иосифа Цафнат-панеах {Т.е., Спасение на века} и даде му за жена Асенета, дъщеря на Илиополския жрец Потифер. След това, Иосиф излезе по обиколка из Египетската земя.

46 A nd Joseph a son of thirty years in his standing before Pharaoh king of Egypt, and Joseph goeth out from the presence of Pharaoh, and passeth over through all the land of Egypt;

Иосиф беше на тридесет години, когато стоя пред Египетския цар Фараон; и, като се отдалечи от лицето на Фараона, Иосиф обиколи цялата Египетска земя.

47 a nd the land maketh in the seven years of plenty by handfuls.

И през седемте години на плодородие земята роди преизобилно.

48 A nd he gathereth all the food of the seven years which have been in the land of Egypt, and putteth food in the cities; the food of the field which round about city hath he put in its midst;

И <Иосиф> събра всичката храна от тия седем години, които бяха <настанали> в Египетската земя, и тури храната в градовете; във <всеки> град прибра храната от околните му ниви.

49 a nd Joseph gathereth corn as sand of the sea, multiplying exceedingly, until that he hath ceased to number, for there is no number.

Иосиф събра жито твърде много, колкото морския пясък, така щото престана да го мери; защото беше без мяра.

50 A nd to Joseph were born two sons before the year of famine cometh, whom Asenath daughter of Poti-Pherah, priest of On, hath borne to him,

А преди да настъпят годините на глада, на Иосифа се родиха два сина, които му роди Асенета, дъщеря на Илиополския жрец Потифер.

51 a nd Joseph calleth the name of the first-born Manasseh: `for, God hath made me to forget all my labour, and all the house of my father;'

И Иосиф наименува първородния Манасия {Т.е., Забравяне.}, защото <си думаше:> Бог ме направи да забравя всичките си мъки и целия си бащин дом.

52 a nd the name of the second he hath called Ephraim: `for, God hath caused me to be fruitful in the land of mine affliction.'

А втория наименува Ефрем {Т.е., Плодовит.}, защото <си думаше>: Бог ме направи плодовит в земята на страданието ми.

53 A nd the seven years of plenty are completed which have been in the land of Egypt,

А като се изминаха седемте години на плодородие, които бяха <настанали> в Египетската земя

54 a nd the seven years of famine begin to come, as Joseph said, and famine is in all the lands, but in all the land of Egypt hath been bread;

настъпиха седемте години на глад, според както Иосиф бе казал; и настана глад по всичките земи, а по цялата Египетска земя имаше хляб.

55 a nd all the land of Egypt is famished, and the people crieth unto Pharaoh for bread, and Pharaoh saith to all the Egyptians, `Go unto Joseph; that which he saith to you -- do.'

Защото, когато огладня цялата Египетска земя, и людете извикаха към Фараона за хляб, Фараон рече на всичките египтяни: Идете при Иосифа, и каквото ви каже, сторете.

56 A nd the famine has been over all the face of the land, and Joseph openeth all which have in them, and selleth to the Egyptians; and the famine is severe in the land of Egypt,

(А гладът беше по цялото лице на земята). Иосиф, прочее, отвори всичките житници и продаваше на египтяните, защото гладът се усилваше по Египетската земя.

57 a nd all the earth hath come to Egypt, to buy, unto Joseph, for the famine was severe in all the earth.

И <от> всички страни дохождаха в Египет при Иосифа да купят жито, понеже гладът се усилваше по цялата земя.
