1 T hen doth Solomon assemble the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, princes of the fathers of the sons of Israel, unto king Solomon, to Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of Jehovah from the city of David -- it Zion;

Тогава Соломон събра при себе си в Ерусалим Израилевите старейшини, и всичките началници на племената, началниците на бащините <домове> на израилтяните, за да възнесат ковчега на Господния завет от Давидовия град, който е Сион.

2 a nd all the men of Israel are assembled unto king Solomon, in the month of Ethanim, in the festival -- the seventh month.

И тъй всичките Израилеви мъже се събраха при цар Соломона на празника в месец Етаним, който е седмият месец.

3 A nd all the elders of Israel come in, and the priests lift up the ark,

А когато дойдоха всичките Израилеви старейшини, свещениците вдигнаха ковчега.

4 a nd bring up the ark of Jehovah, and the tent of meeting, and all the holy vessels that in the tent, yea, the priests and the Levites bring them up.

Те занесоха Господния ковчег и шатъра за срещане с всичките свети принадлежности, които бяха в шатъра; свещениците и левитите ги занесоха.

5 A nd king Solomon and all the company of Israel who are met unto him with him before the ark, sacrificing sheep and oxen, that are not counted nor numbered for multitude.

А цар Соломон и цялото Израилево общество, колкото се бяха събрали при него, бяха с него пред ковчега, и жертвуваха овци и говеда, които по множеството си не можеха да се пресметнат или да се изброят.

6 A nd the priests bring in the ark of the covenant of Jehovah unto its place, unto the oracle of the house, unto the holy of holies, unto the place of the wings of the cherubs;

Така свещениците внесоха ковчега на Господния завет на мястото му, в светилището на дома, в пресветото място, под крилата на херувимите.

7 f or the cherubs are spreading forth two wings unto the place of the ark, and the cherubs cover over the ark, and over its staves from above;

Защото херувимите бяха с крилата си разперени над мястото на ковчега и херувимите покриваха отгоре ковчега и върлините му.

8 a nd they lengthen the staves, and the heads of the staves are seen from the holy on the front of the oracle, and are not seen without, and they are there unto this day.

И върлините се издадоха така щото се виждаха краищата на върлините от светото място пред светилището, но извън не се виждаха; и там са до днес.

9 T here is nothing in the ark, only the two tables of stone which Moses put there in Horeb, when Jehovah covenanted with the sons of Israel in their going out of the land of Egypt.

В ковчега нямаше друго освен двете каменни плочи, които Моисей положи там на Хорив, гдето Господ направи завет с израилтяните, когато бяха излезли от Египетската земя.

10 A nd it cometh to pass, in the going out of the priests from the holy, that the cloud hath filled the house of Jehovah,

А щом излязоха свещениците из светилището, облакът изпълни Господния дом;

11 a nd the priests have not been able to stand to minister because of the cloud, for the honour of Jehovah hath filled the house of Jehovah.

така щото поради облака свещениците не можаха да застанат, за да служат, защото Господната слава изпълни Господния дом.

12 T hen said Solomon, `Jehovah hath said to dwell in thick darkness;

Тогава Соломон говори: Господ е казал, че ще обитава в мрак.

13 I have surely built a house of habitation for Thee; a fixed place for Thine abiding to the ages.'

Аз Ти построих дом за обитаване, място, в което да пребиваваш вечно.

14 A nd the king turneth round his face, and blesseth the whole assembly of Israel; and all the assembly of Israel is standing.

После царят обърна лицето си та благослови цялото Израилево общество, докато цялото Израилево общество стоеше на крака, като каза:

15 A nd he saith, `Blessed Jehovah, God of Israel, who spake by His mouth with David my father, and by His hand hath fulfilled, saying,

Благословен да бъде Господ Израилевият Бог, Който извърши с ръката Си онова, което говори с устата Си на баща ми Давида, като рече:

16 F rom the day that I brought out My people, even Israel, from Egypt, I have not fixed on a city out of all the tribes of Israel, to build a house for My name being there; and I fix on David to be over My people Israel.

От деня, когато изведох людете Си Израиля из Египет, не избрах измежду всичките Израилеви племена ни един град, <гдето> да се построи дом за да се настани името Ми там; но избрах Давида, за да бъде над людете Ми Израиля.

17 ` And it is with the heart of David my father to build a house for the name of Jehovah, God of Israel,

И в сърцето на баща ми Давида дойде да построи дом за името на Господа Израилевия Бог;

18 a nd Jehovah saith unto David my father, Because that it hath been with thy heart to build a house for My name, thou hast done well that it hath been with thy heart;

но Господ рече на Баща ми Давида: Понеже дойде в сърцето ти да построиш дом за името Ми, добре си сторил, че е дошло това в сърцето ти.

19 o nly, thou dost not build the house, but thy son who is coming out from thy loins, he doth build the house for My name.

Ти, обаче, няма да построиш дома; но синът ти, който ще излезе из чреслата ти, той ще построи дома за името Ми.

20 ` And Jehovah doth establish His word which He spake, and I am risen up instead of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as Jehovah spake, and build the house for the name of Jehovah, God of Israel,

Господ, прочее, изпълни словото, което говори; и като се издигнах аз вместо баща си Давида, и седнах на Израилевия престол, според както говори Господ, построих дома за името на Господа Израилевия Бог.

21 a nd set there a place for the ark, where the covenant of Jehovah which He made with our fathers in His bringing them out from the land of Egypt.'

И в него приготвих място за ковчега, в който е заветът, който Господ направи с бащите ни, когато ги изведе из Египетската земя.

22 A nd Solomon standeth before the altar of Jehovah, over-against all the assembly of Israel, and spreadeth his hands towards the heavens,

Тогава Соломон застана пред Господния олтар, пред цялото Израилево общество, и като простря ръцете си към небето рече:

23 a nd saith, `Jehovah, God of Israel, there is not a God like Thee, in the heavens above, and on the earth beneath, keeping the covenant and the kindness for Thy servants, those walking before Thee with all their heart,

Господи Боже Израилев, няма горе на небето или долу на земята бог подобен на Тебе, Който пазиш завета и милостта към слугите Си, които ходят пред Тебе с цялото си сърце;

24 w ho hast kept for Thy servant David my father that which Thou spakest to him; yea, Thou speakest with Thy mouth, and with Thy hand hast fulfilled, as this day.

Който си изпълнил към слугата Си Давида, баща ми, това, което си му обещал; да! каквото си говорил с устата Си, това си свършил с ръката Си, както <се вижда> днес.

25 ` And now, Jehovah, God of Israel, keep for Thy servant David my father that which Thou spakest to him, saying, There is not cut off to thee a man from before Me, sitting on the throne of Israel -- only, if thy sons watch their way, to walk before Me as thou hast walked before Me.

Сега, Господи Боже Израилев, изпълни към слугата Си Давида, баща ми, онова, което си му обещал, като си рекъл: Няма да ти липсва мъж, който да седи пред Мене на Израилевия престол, ако само внимават чадата ти в пътя си, за да ходят пред Мене, както ти си ходил пред Мене.

26 ` And now, O God of Israel, let it be established, I pray Thee, Thy word which Thou hast spoken to Thy servant, David my father.

Сега, прочее, Боже Израилев, нека се потвърди, моля, словото, което си говорил на слугата Си Давида баща ми.

27 B ut, is it true? -- God dwelleth on the earth! lo, the heavens, and the heavens of the heavens do not contain Thee, how much less this house which I have builded!

Но Бог наистина ли ще обитава на земята? Ето, небето и небето на небесата не са достатъчни да Те поберат; колко по-малко тоя дом, който построих!

28 ` Then thou hast turned unto the prayer of Thy servant, and unto his supplication, O Jehovah my God, to hearken unto the cry and unto the prayer which Thy servant is praying before Thee to-day,

Но пак погледни благосклонно към молитвата на слугата Си и към молението му, Господи Боже мой, тъй щото да послушаш вика и молитвата, с която слугата Ти се моли днес пред Тебе,

29 f or Thine eyes being open towards this house night and day, towards the place of which Thou hast said, My Name is there; to hearken unto the prayer which Thy servant prayeth towards this place.

за да бъдат очите Ти, нощем и денем, отворени към Твоя дом, към мястото, за което Ти си казал: Името Ми ще бъде там, за да слушаш молитвата, с която слугата Ти ще се моли на това място.

30 ` Then Thou hast hearkened unto the supplication of Thy servant, and of Thy people Israel, which they pray towards this place; yea, Thou dost hearken in the place of Thy dwelling, in the heavens -- and Thou hast hearkened, and hast forgiven,

Слушай молението на слугата Си и на людете Си Израиля, когато се молят на това място да! слушай Ти от местообиталището Си, от небето, и като слушаш бивай милостив.

31 t hat which a man sinneth against his neighbour, and he hath lifted up upon him an oath to cause him to swear, and the oath hath come in before Thine altar in this house,

Ако съгреши някой на ближния си, и му се наложи клетва за да се закълне, и той дойде та се закълне пред олтара Ти в тоя дом,

32 t hen Thou dost hear in the heavens, and hast done, and hast judged Thy servants, to declare wicked the wicked, to put his way on his head, and to declare righteous the righteous, to give him according to his righteousness.

тогава послушай Ти от небето и подействувай, извърши правосъдие за слугите Си, и осъди беззаконния, така щото да възвърнеш делото му върху главата му, а оправдай праведния като му отдадеш според правдата му.

33 ` In Thy people Israel being smitten before an enemy, because they sin against Thee, and they have turned back unto Thee, and have confessed Thy name, and prayed, and made supplication unto Thee in this house,

Когато людете Ти Израил бъдат разбити пред неприятеля по причина, че са Ти съгрешили, ако се обърнат към Тебе та изповядат Твоето име, и принесат молитва, като Ти се помолят в тоя дом,

34 t hen thou dost hear in the heavens, and hast forgiven the sin of Thy people Israel, and brought them back unto the ground that Thou gavest to their fathers.

тогава Ти послушай от небето, и прости греха на людете Си Израиля, и възвърни ги в земята, която си дал на бащите им.

35 ` In the heavens being restrained, and there is no rain, because they sin against Thee, and they have prayed towards this place, and confessed Thy name, and from their sin turn back, for Thou dost afflict them,

Когато се затвори небето та не вали дъжд по причина, че са Ти съгрешили, ако се помолят на това място и изповядат Твоето име, и се обърнат от греховете си, понеже ги съкрушаваш,

36 t hen Thou dost hear in the heavens, and hast forgiven the sin of Thy servants, and of Thy people Israel, for Thou directest them the good way in which they go, and hast given rain on Thy land which Thou hast given to Thy people for inheritance.

тогава Ти послушай от небето и прости греха на слугите Си и на людете Си Израиля, и покажи им добрия път, в който трябва да ходят, и дай дъжд на земята Си, която си дал в наследство на людете Си.

37 ` Famine -- when it is in the land; pestilence -- when it is; blasting, mildew, locust; caterpillar -- when it is; when its enemy hath distressed it in the land its gates, any plague, any sickness, --

Ако настане глад на земята, ако настане мор, ако се появят изсушителен вятър, мана, скакалци, или гъсеници, ако неприятелят им ги обсади в градовете на земята им, - каквато и да е язвата, каквато и да е болестта, -

38 a ny prayer, any supplication that of any man of all Thy people Israel, who know each the plague of his own heart, and hath spread his hands towards this house,

тогава всяка молитва, всяко моление, което би се принесло от кой да бил човек, или от всичките Ти люде Израиля, който ще познае всеки раната на своето сърце, и простре ръцете си към тоя дом,

39 t hen Thou dost hear in the heavens, the settled place of Thy dwelling, and hast forgiven, and hast done, and hast given to each according to all his ways, whose heart Thou knowest, (for Thou hast known -- Thyself alone -- the heart of all the sons of man),

Ти послушай от небето, от местообиталището Си, и прости и подействувай та въздай на всекиго според всичките му постъпки, като познаваш сърцето му, (защото Ти, само Ти, познаваш сърцата на целия човешки род),

40 s o that they fear Thee all the days that they are living on the face of the ground that Thou hast given to our fathers.

за да Ти се боят през всичкото време, когато живеят на земята, която си дал на бащите ни.

41 ` And also, unto the stranger who is not of Thy people Israel, and hath come from a land afar off for Thy name's sake --

Още за чужденеца, който не е от людете Ти Израиля, но иде от далечна страна, заради Твоето име,

42 ( for they hear of Thy great name, and of Thy strong hand, and of Thy stretched-out arm) -- and he hath come in and prayed towards this house,

(защото ще чуят за великото Ти име, и за Твоята мощна ръка, и за Твоята издигната мишца), - когато дойде та се помоли в тоя дом,

43 T hou dost hear in the heavens, the settled place of Thy dwelling, and hast done according to all that the stranger calleth unto Thee for, in order that all the peoples of the earth may know Thy name, to fear Thee like Thy people Israel, and to know that Thy name hath been called on this house which I have builded.

Ти послушай от небето, от местообиталището Си, и подействувай според всичко, за което чужденецът Те призове; за да познаят името Ти всичките люде на света, да Ти се боят както людете Ти Израил, и да познаят, че с Твоето име се нарече тоя дом, който построих.

44 ` When Thy people doth go out to battle against its enemy, in the way that Thou dost send them, and they have prayed unto Jehovah the way of the city which thou hast fixed on, and of the house which I have builded for Thy name;

Ако людете Ти излязат на бой против неприятеля си, където би ги пратил Ти, и се помолят на Господа <като се обърнат> към града, който Ти си избрал, и към дома, който построих за Твоето име,

45 t hen Thou hast heard in the heavens their prayer and their supplication, and hast maintained their cause.

тогава послушай от небето молитвата им и защити правото им.

46 ` When they sin against Thee (for there is not a man who sinneth not), and Thou hast been angry with them, and hast given them up before an enemy, and they have taken captive their captivity unto the land of the enemy far off or near;

Ако Ти съгрешат, (защото няма човек, който да не греши), и Ти се разгневиш на тях та ги предадеш на неприятеля, и пленителите им ги заведат пленници в неприятелската земя, далеч или близо,

47 a nd they have turned back unto their heart in the land whither they have been taken captive, and have turned back, and made supplication unto Thee, in the land of their captors, saying, We have sinned and done perversely -- we have done wickedly;

все пак, ако дойдат на себе си в земята, гдето са отведени пленници, та се обърнат и Ти се помолят в земята на пленителите си, и рекат: Съгрешихме, беззаконствувахме, сторихме неправда,

48 y ea, they have turned back unto Thee, with all their heart, and with all their soul, in the land of their enemies who have taken them captive, and have prayed unto Thee the way of their land, which Thou gavest to their fathers, the city which Thou hast chosen, and the house which I have builded for Thy name:

и се обърнат към Тебе с цялото си сърце и с цялата си душа в земята на неприятелите, които са ги запленили, и Ти се помолят <като се обърнат> към земята си, която си дал на бащите им, към града, който си избрал, и към дома, който построих за Твоето име,

49 ` Then Thou hast heard in the heavens, the settled place of Thy dwelling, their prayer and their supplication, and hast maintained their cause,

тогава Ти послушай от небето, от местообиталището Си, молитвата им и молението им, защити правото им,

50 a nd hast forgiven Thy people who have sinned against Thee, even all their transgressions which they have transgressed against Thee, and hast given them mercies before their captors, and they have had mercy them --

и прости на людете Си, които са Ти съгрешили, всичките им престъпления, чрез които станаха престъпници против Тебе, и умилостиви към тях пленителите им, за да им покажат милост;

51 ( for Thy people and Thy inheritance they, whom Thou didst bring out of Egypt, out of the midst of the furnace of iron) --

защото те са Твои люде и Твое наследство, които си извел из Египет, отсред железарската пещ.

52 f or Thine eyes being open unto the supplication of Thy servant, and unto the supplication of Thy people Israel, to hearken unto them in all they call unto Thee for;

Нека, прочее, бъдат отворени очите Ти към молението на слугата Ти и към молението на людете Ти Израиля, за да ги слушаш за каквото и да Те призоват;

53 f or Thou hast separated them to Thyself for an inheritance, out of all the peoples of the earth, as Thou didst speak by the hand of Moses Thy servant, in Thy bringing out our fathers from Egypt, O Lord Jehovah.'

защото Ти, Господи Иеова, си ги отделил от всичките племена на света, за да бъдат Твое наследство, според както говори чрез слугата Си Моисея, когато изведе бащите ни из Египет.

54 A nd it cometh to pass, at Solomon's finishing to pray unto Jehovah all this prayer and supplication, he hath risen from before the altar of Jehovah, from bending on his knees, and his hands spread out to the heavens,

И като свърши Соломон да принася цялата тая молитва и това моление към Господа, стана отпред Господния олтар, гдето бе коленичил с ръце прострени към небето.

55 a nd he standeth and blesseth all the assembly of Israel a loud voice, saying,

И застана та благослови с висок глас цялото Израилево общество, като каза:

56 ` Blessed Jehovah who hath given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He hath spoken; there hath not fallen one word of all His good word, which He spake by the hand of Moses his servant.

Благословен да бъде Господ, Който успокои людете Си Израиля според всичко що е обещал. Не пропадна ни едно от всичките добри обещания, които даде чрез слугата Си Моисея.

57 ` Jehovah our God is with us as He hath been with our fathers; He doth not forsake us nor leave us;

Дано бъде Господ наш Бог с нас както е бил с бащите ни, да не ни остави, нито да ни отхвърли!

58 t o incline our heart unto Himself, to walk in all His ways, and to keep His commands, and His statutes, and His judgments, which He commanded our fathers;

да преклони сърцата ни към себе Си, тъй щото да ходим във всичките Му пътища, и да пазим заповедите, повеленията и съдбите, които е заповядал на бащите ни!

59 a nd these my words with which I have made supplication before Jehovah, are near unto Jehovah our God by day and by night, to maintain the cause of His servant, and the cause of His people Israel, the matter of a day in its day;

И тия мои думи, с които се помолих пред Господа, нека бъдат денем и нощем близо при Господа нашия Бог, за да защищава правото на слугата Си и правото на людете Си Израиля според всекидневната нужда;

60 f or all the peoples of the earth knowing that Jehovah, He God; there is none else;

така щото всичките племена на света да познаят, че Иеова Той е Бог; няма друг.

61 a nd your heart hath been perfect with Jehovah our God, to walk in His statutes, and to keep His commands, as this day.'

Прочее, вашите сърца нека бъдат съвършени спрямо Господа нашия Бог, за да ходите в повеленията Му и да пазите заповедите Му, както <правите> днес.

62 A nd the king and all Israel with him are sacrificing a sacrifice before Jehovah;

Тогава царят и целият Израил с него принесоха жертви пред Господа.

63 a nd Solomon sacrificeth the sacrifice of peace-offerings, which he hath sacrificed to Jehovah, oxen, twenty and two thousand, and sheep, a hundred and twenty thousand; and the king and all the sons of Israel dedicate the house of Jehovah.

За примирителни жертви, които принесе Господу, Соломон пожертвува двадесет и две хиляди говеда и сто и двадесет хиляди овци. Така царят и всичките израилтяни посветиха Господния дом.

64 O n that day hath the king sanctified the middle of the court that before the house of Jehovah, for he hath made there the burnt-offering, and the present, and the fat of the peace-offerings; for the altar of brass that before Jehovah too little to contain the burnt-offering, and the present, and the fat of the peace-offerings.

В същия ден царят освети средата на двора, който е към лицето на Господния дом; защото там принесе всеизгарянето и хлебния принос и тлъстината на примирителните приноси, понеже медният олтар, който бе пред Господа, бе твърде малък, за да побере всеизгарянето и хлебния принос и тлъстината на примирителните приноси.

65 A nd Solomon maketh, at that time, the festival -- and all Israel with him, a great assembly from the entering in of Hamath unto the brook of Egypt -- before Jehovah our God, seven days and seven days; fourteen days.

По тоя начин Соломон и целият Израил с него, голям събор <събран из местностите> от прохода на Емат до египетския поток пазеха в онова време празника пред Господа нашия Бог седем дена и седем дена, четиринадесет дена.

66 O n the eighth day he hath sent the people away, and they bless the king, and go to their tents, rejoicing and glad of heart for all the good that Jehovah hath done to David His servant, and to Israel His people.

А на осмия ден разпусна людете; и те благословиха царя, и отидоха си в шатрите си с радостни и весели сърца поради всичкото добро, което Господ бе показал към слугата Си Давида и към людете Си Израиля.
