1 ` And thou, son of man, take to thee a brick, and thou hast put it before thee, and hast graven on it a city -- Jerusalem,

И ти, сине, човешки, вземи си тухла, тури я пред себе си, и начертай на нея града Ерусалим.

2 a nd hast placed against it a siege, and builded against it a fortification, and poured out against it a mount, and placed against it camps, yea, set thou against it battering-rams round about.

И постави обсада против него, съгради укрепления против него, и издигни могили против него; разположи още стан против него, и постави стеноломи против него от всяка страна.

3 A nd thou, take to thee an iron pan, and thou hast made it a wall of iron between thee and the city; and thou hast prepared thy face against it, and it hath been in a siege, yea, thou hast laid siege against it. A sign it to the house of Israel.

Вземи си и желязна плоча, тури я като желязна стена между тебе и града, и насочи лицето си против него, и той ще бъде обсаден; и ти постави обсада против него. Това ще бъде знамение на Израилевия дом.

4 ` And thou, lie on thy left side, and thou hast placed the iniquity of the house of Israel on it; the number of the days that thou liest on it, thou bearest their iniquity.

Тогава легни на лявата си страна, и положи на нея беззаконието на Израилевия дом; колкото дни лежиш на нея ще носиш беззаконието им.

5 A nd I -- I have laid on thee the years of their iniquity, the number of days, three hundred and ninety days; and thou hast borne the iniquity of the house of Israel.

Защото Аз определих годините на беззаконието им да ти бъдат <съответствено> число дни - триста и деветдесет дни, така ще носиш беззаконието на Израилевия дом.

6 A nd thou hast completed these, and hast lain on thy right side, a second time, and hast borne the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days -- a day for a year -- a day for a year I have appointed to thee.

И като навършиш тия, тогава легни на дясната си страна и носи беззаконието на Юдовия дом четиридесет дни; по един ден ти определих за всяка година.

7 ` And unto the siege of Jerusalem thou dost prepare thy face, and thine arm uncovered, and thou hast prophesied concerning it.

И насочи лицето си към обсадата на Ерусалим, с гола мишца, и пророкувай против него.

8 A nd lo, I have put on thee thick bands, and thou dost not turn from side to side till thy completing the days of thy siege.

И, ето, ще туря на тебе връзки, и няма да се обърнеш от едната си страна на другата догдето не навършиш дните, през които ще го обсаждаш.

9 ` And thou, take to thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentiles, and millet, and spelt, and thou hast put them in one vessel, and made them to thee for bread; the number of the days that thou art lying on thy side -- three hundred and ninety days -- thou dost eat it.

Вземи си и пшеница и ечемик, боб и леща, просо и бяло жито, и като ги туриш в един съд направи си от тях хлябове; и колкото дни лежиш на страната си, триста и деветдесет дни, яж от тях.

10 A nd thy food that thou dost eat by weight, twenty shekels daily; from time to time thou dost eat it.

И храната, която ще ядеш, да бъде с теглилка, двадесет сикли на ден; от време на време да ядеш от тях.

11 ` And water by measure thou dost drink, a sixth part of the hin; from time to time thou dost drink.

Също и вода с мярка да пиеш, по една шеста от ин <на ден>; от време на време да пиеш.

12 A barley-cake thou dost eat it, and it with dung -- the filth of man -- thou dost bake before their eyes.

Да ги ядеш като ечемичени пити, и да ги печеш с човешки нечистотии пред очите им.

13 A nd Jehovah saith, `Thus do the sons of Israel eat their defiled bread among the nations whither I drive them.'

И Господ рече: Така ще ядат израилтяните хляба си омърсен между народите дето ще ги изпъдя.

14 A nd I say, `Ah, Lord Jehovah, lo, my soul is not defiled, and carcase, and torn thing, I have not eaten from my youth, even till now; nor come into my mouth hath abominable flesh.'

Тогава аз рекох: Ах! Господи Иеова, ето, душата ми не се е омърсила; понеже от младостта си до сега не съм ял мърша или разкъсано от звяр, нито е влязло някога в устата ми мръсно месо.

15 A nd He saith unto me, `See, I have given to thee bullock's dung instead of man's dung, and thou hast made thy bread by it.'

Тогава ми рече: Виж, давам ти говежди нечистотии вместо човешки нечистотии; с тях опечи хляба си.

16 A nd He saith unto me, `Son of man, lo, I am breaking the staff of bread in Jerusalem, and they have eaten bread by weight and with fear; and water by measure and with astonishment, they do drink;

Рече ми още: Сине човешки, ето, Аз ще строша подпорката от хляба в Ерусалим; те ще ядат хляб с теглилка и икономично, и смаяни ще пият вода с мярка.

17 s o that they lack bread and water, and have been astonished one with another, and been consumed in their iniquity.

<Това ще направя> за да се лишат от хляб и вода, и да се гледат един други смаяни, и да се изнурят в беззаконието си.
