1 ` And it hath been, if thou dost hearken diligently to the voice of Jehovah thy God, to observe to do all His commands which I am commanding thee to-day, that Jehovah thy God hath made thee uppermost above all the nations of the earth,

Ако слушаш добре гласа на Господа твоя Бог и внимаваш да вършиш всичките Негови заповеди, които днес ти заповядвам, тогава Господ твоят Бог ще те въздигне над всичките народи на света.

2 a nd all these blessings have come upon thee, and overtaken thee, because thou dost hearken to the voice of Jehovah thy God:

И всички тия благословения ще дойдат на тебе и ще почиват на тебе, ако слушаш гласа на Господа твоя Бог.

3 ` Blessed thou in the city, and blessed thou in the field.

Благословен ще бъдеш в града, и благословен ще бъдеш на полето.

4 ` Blessed the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, increase of thine oxen, and wealth of thy flock.

Благословен ще бъде плодът на утробата ти, плодът на земята ти и плодът от добитъка ти, рожбите от говедата ти и малките от овците ти;

5 ` Blessed thy basket and thy kneading-trough.

благословен кошът ти и нощвата ти.

6 ` Blessed thou in thy coming in, and blessed thou in thy going out.

Благословен ще бъдеш при влизането си и благословен ще бъдеш при излизането си.

7 ` Jehovah giveth thine enemies, who are rising up against thee -- smitten before thy face; in one way they come out unto thee, and in seven ways they flee before thee.

Господ ще направи да бъдат поразявани пред тебе неприятелите, които се повдигат против тебе; през един път те ще излизат против тебе, а през седем пътища ще бягат от пред тебе.

8 ` Jehovah commandeth with thee the blessing in thy storehouses, and in every putting forth of thy hand, and hath blessed thee in the land which Jehovah thy God is giving to thee.

Господ ще заповяда <да дойде> благословение на тебе в житниците ти и във всичките ти предприятия, и ще те благославя в земята, която Господ твоят Бог ти дава.

9 ` Jehovah doth establish thee to Himself for a holy people, as He hath sworn to thee, when thou keepest the commands of Jehovah thy God, and hast walked in His ways;

Господ ще те утвърди като свет народ за Себе Си, според както ти се е клел, ако пазиш заповедите на Господа твоя Бог и ходиш в Неговите пътища;

10 a nd all the peoples of the land have seen that the name of Jehovah is called upon thee, and they have been afraid of thee.

И всичките племена на света ще видят, че ти се наричаш с Господното Име, и ще се боят от тебе.

11 ` And Jehovah hath made thee abundant in good, in the fruit of the womb, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, on the ground which Jehovah hath sworn to thy fathers to give to thee.

Господ ще те направи да изобилваш с блага, в плода на утробата ти, в плода на добитъка ти и в плода на земята ти, върху земята, за която Господ се е клел на бащите ти да ти я даде.

12 ` Jehovah doth open to thee his good treasure -- the heavens -- to give the rain of thy land in its season, and to bless all the work of thy hand, and thou hast lent to many nations, and thou -- thou dost not borrow.

Господ ще ти отвори доброто Си съкровище, небето, за да дава дъжд на земята ти на времето му, и да благославя всичките дела на ръцете ти; и ти ще заемаш на много народи, а няма да вземаш на заем.

13 ` And Jehovah hath given thee for head, and not for tail; and thou hast been only above, and art not beneath, for thou dost hearken unto the commands of Jehovah thy God, which I am commanding thee to-day, to keep and to do,

Господ ще те постави глава, а не опашка, та ще бъдеш само отгоре и няма да бъдеш отдолу, ако слушаш заповедите на Господа твоя Бог, които днес ти заповядвам, да ги пазиш и вършиш.

14 a nd thou dost not turn aside from all the words which I am commanding you to-day -- right or left -- to go after other gods, to serve them.

От думите, които днес ви заповядвам, да се не връщаш надясно или наляво, за да отидеш след други богове да им служиш.

15 ` And it hath been, if thou dost not hearken unto the voice of Jehovah thy God to observe to do all His commands, and His statutes, which I am commanding thee to-day, that all these revilings have come upon thee, and overtaken thee:

Но ако не слушаш гласа на Господа твоя Бог, и не внимаваш да вършиш всичките Му заповеди и повеленията Му, които днес ти заповядвам, то всички тия проклетии ще дойдат на тебе и ще почиват на тебе.

16 ` Cursed thou in the city, and cursed thou in the field.

Проклет ще бъдеш в града и проклет ще бъдеш на полето.

17 ` Cursed thy basket and thy kneading-trough.

Проклети ще бъдат кошът ти и нощвата ти;

18 ` Cursed the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy land, increase of thine oxen, and wealth of thy flock.

проклети ще бъдат плодът на утробата ти и плодът на земята ти, рожбите от говедата ти и малките от овците ти.

19 ` Cursed thou in thy coming in, and cursed thou in thy going out.

Проклет ще бъдеш при влизането си и проклет ще бъдеш при излизането си.

20 ` Jehovah doth send on thee the curse, the trouble, and the rebuke, in every putting forth of thy hand which thou dost, till thou art destroyed, and till thou perish hastily, because of the evil of thy doings which thou hast forsaken Me.

Господ ще изпраща върху тебе проклетия, смущение и разорение във всичките предприятия, които предприемаш да вършиш догде бъдеш изтребен и погинеш скоро, поради злите дела, чрез които си Ме оставил.

21 ` Jehovah doth cause to cleave to thee the pestilence, till He consume thee from off the ground whither thou art going in to possess it.

Господ ще направи да се залепва за тебе мор, догде те довърши от земята, в която отиваш да я завладееш.

22 ` Jehovah doth smite thee with consumption, and with fever, and with inflammation, and with extreme burning, and with sword, and with blasting, and with mildew, and they have pursued thee till thou perish

Господ ще те поразява с охтика, с треска, с огница, с възпаление, със суша {Или, нож.}, с изсушителен вятър и с мана; и те ще те гонят догде погинеш.

23 ` And thy heavens which over thy head have been brass, and the earth which under thee iron;

Небето над главата ти ще бъде мед, и земята под тебе желязо.

24 J ehovah giveth the rain of thy land -- dust and ashes; from the heavens it cometh down on thee till thou art destroyed.

Господ ще обръща дъжда на земята ти на прах и пепел; ще слиза на тебе от небето догде бъдеш изтребен.

25 ` Jehovah giveth thee smitten before thine enemies; in one way thou goest out unto them, and in seven ways dost flee before them, and thou hast been for a trembling to all kingdoms of the earth;

Господ ще направи да бъдеш поразяван пред неприятелите си; през един път ще излизаш против тях, а през седем пътища ще бягаш отпред тях; и ще бъдеш тласкан по всичките царства на света.

26 a nd thy carcase hath been for food to every fowl of the heavens, and to the beast of the earth, and there is none causing trembling.

Трупът ти ще бъде храна на всичките въздушни птици и на земните зверове; и не ще има кой да ги отпъжда.

27 ` Jehovah doth smite thee with the ulcer of Egypt, and with emerods, and with scurvy, and with itch, of which thou art not able to be healed.

Господ ще те поразява с египетския струпей, с кръвотечения, с краста и със сърбеж, от които да не можеш да се изцелиш.

28 ` Jehovah doth smite thee with madness, and with blindness, and with astonishment of heart;

Господ ще те поразява с умопобъркване, със слепота и с омайване на сърцето;

29 a nd thou hast been gropling at noon, as the blind gropeth in darkness; and thou dost not cause thy ways to prosper; and thou hast been only oppressed and plundered all the days, and there is no saviour.

и ще ходиш пипайки всред пладне, както слепият пипа в тъмнината, и не ще имаш успех в пътищата си; а ще бъдеш само притесняван и обиран всеки ден, и не ще има кой да те избави.

30 ` A woman thou dost betroth, and another man doth lie with her; a house thou dost build, and dost not dwell in it; a vineyard thou dost plant, and dost not make it common;

Ще се сгодиш за жена, но друг мъж ще лежи с нея; къща ще построиш, но няма да живееш в нея; лозе ще насадиш, но няма да ядеш от плода му.

31 t hine ox slaughtered before thine eyes, and thou dost not eat of it; thine ass taken violently away from before thee, and it is not given back to thee; thy sheep given to thine enemies, and there is no saviour for thee.

Говедото ти ще бъде заклано пред очите ти, и няма да ядеш от него; оселът ти ще бъде грабнат пред тебе, и няма да ти се върне; овците ти ще бъдат предадени на неприятелите ти, и не ще имаш, кой да <ги> избави.

32 ` Thy sons and thy daughters given to another people, and thine eyes are looking and consuming for them all the day, and thy hand is not to God!

Синовете ти и дъщерите ти ще бъдат предадени на друг народ, и очите ти ще гледат и ще чезнат за тях всеки ден, но нищо не ще бъде в силата на ръката ти <да им помогне>.

33 T he fruit of thy ground, and all thy labour, eat up doth a people whom thou hast not known; and thou hast been only oppressed and bruised all the days;

Народ, когото не познаваш, ще изяде плода на земята ти и <на> всичките ти трудове; и ти ще бъдеш винаги само притесняван и измъчван.

34 a nd thou hast been mad, because of the sight of thine eyes which thou dost see.

Ще полудееш, като гледаш това, което ще виждат очите ти.

35 ` Jehovah doth smite thee with an evil ulcer, on the knees, and on the legs (of which thou art not able to be healed), from the sole of thy foot even unto thy crown.

Господ ще те поразява с лошо възпаление в колената и в пищялите, тъй щото не ще можеш да се изцелиш, от стъпалата на нозете си до темето си.

36 ` Jehovah doth cause thee to go, and thy king whom thou raisest up over thee, unto a nation which thou hast not known, thou and thy fathers, and thou hast served there other gods, wood and stone;

Господ ще заведе тебе и царя, когото ще си поставил над себе си, при народ, когото не си познавал, нито ти нито бащите ти; и там ще служиш на други богове, на дърво и камък.

37 a nd thou hast been for an astonishment, for a simile, and for a byword among all the peoples whither Jehovah doth lead thee.

И ще станеш за учудване, за поговорка и за поругание на всичките племена, между които Господ ще те отведе.

38 ` Much seed thou dost take out into the field, and little thou dost gather in, for the locust doth consume it;

Много семе ще изнасяш на полето, а малко ще събираш, защото скакалците ще го пояждат.

39 v ineyards thou dost plant, and hast laboured, and wine thou dost not drink nor gather, for the worm doth consume it;

Лозя ще посаждаш и обработваш, а вино няма да пиеш <от тях>, нито ще събираш <грозде>, защото червей ще ги изяде.

40 o lives are to thee in all thy border, and oil thou dost not pour out, for thine olive doth fall off.

Маслини ще имаш във всичките си предели, а с масло няма да се помазваш, защото маслините ти ще окапват.

41 ` Sons and daughters thou dost beget, and they are not with thee, for they go into captivity;

Синове и дъщери ще раждаш, но те не ще бъдат за тебе, защото ще отиват в плен.

42 a ll thy trees and the fruit of thy ground doth the locust possess;

Всичките ти дървета и плода на земята ти, щурецът ще ги пояде.

43 t he sojourner who in thy midst goeth up above thee very high, and thou goest down very low;

Чужденецът, който е всред тебе, ще се издига горе и по-горе над тебе; а ти ще пропадаш долу и по-долу.

44 h e doth lend thee, and thou dost not lend him; he is for head, and thou art for tail.

Той ще заема на тебе, а ти не ще заемаш на него; той ще бъде глава, а ти ще бъдеш опашка.

45 ` And come upon thee have all these curses, and they have pursued thee, and overtaken thee, till thou art destroyed, because thou hast not hearkened to the voice of Jehovah thy God, to keep His commands, and His statutes, which he hath commanded thee;

Всички тия проклетии ще дойдат върху тебе, та ще те гонят и ще те застигат, догде бъдеш изтребен; защото ти не послуша гласа на Господа твоя Бог, за да пазиш заповедите Му и повеленията, които ти заповяда.

46 a nd they have been on thee for a sign and for a wonder, also on thy seed -- to the age.

Това ще бъде за винаги знамение и чудо върху тебе и потомството ти.

47 ` Because that thou hast not served Jehovah thy God with joy, and with gladness of heart, because of the abundance of all things --

Понеже не си служил на Господа твоя Бог с веселие и със сърдечна радост поради изобилието на всичко,

48 t hou hast served thine enemies, whom Jehovah sendeth against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in lack of all things; and he hath put a yoke of iron on thy neck, till He hath destroyed thee.

за това ще слугуваш на неприятелите си, които Господ ще прати против тебе, в глад, в жажда, в голота и в лишение от всичко; и Той ще тури на шията ти железен ярем догде те погуби.

49 ` Jehovah doth lift up against thee a nation, from afar, from the end of the earth, as the eagle it flieth; a nation whose tongue thou hast not heard,

Господ ще навлече против тебе народ от далеч, от земния край, като с орлово летене; народ чийто език не разбираш;

50 a nation -- fierce of countenance -- which accepteth not the face of the aged, and the young doth not favour;

народ със свиреп поглед, който не ще почете стар нито <ще> пожали млад;

51 a nd it hath eaten the fruit of thy cattle, and the fruit of thy ground, till thou art destroyed; which leaveth not to thee corn, new wine, and oil, increase of thine oxen, and wealth of thy flock, till it hath destroyed thee.

и ще яде плода на добитъка ти и плода на земята ти догде починеш; който не ще ти остави ни жито, ни вино, ни масло, нито рожбите от говедата ти, нито малките от овците ти, догде те погуби.

52 ` And it hath laid siege to thee in all thy gates, till thy walls come down, the high and the fenced ones in which thou art trusting, in all thy land; yea, it hath laid siege to thee in all thy gates, in all thy land, which Jehovah thy God hath given to thee;

Ще те обсади във всичките ти градове, догде по цялата ти земя изпопадат високите ти и укрепени стени, на които се надяваше; и ще те обсади във всичките ти градове из цялата земя, която Господ твоят Бог ти даде.

53 a nd thou hast eaten the fruit of thy body, flesh of thy sons and thy daughters (whom Jehovah thy God hath given to thee), in the siege, and in the straitness with which thine enemies do straiten thee.

И тогава, при обсадата и притеснението, с което ще те притесни неприятелят ти, ще ядеш плода на утробата си, месата на синовете си и на дъщерите си, които Господ твоят Бог ти е дал.

54 ` The man who is tender in thee, and who very delicate -- his eye is evil against his brother, and against the wife of his bosom, and against the remnant of his sons whom he leaveth,

Оня мъж между вас, който е изтънчен и изнежен, ще гледа с немилостиво око на брата си, на жената, <която почива> на пазухата му и на останалите чада, които му оцелеят,

55 a gainst giving to one of them of the flesh of his sons whom he eateth, because he hath nothing left to him, in the siege, and in the straitness with which thine enemy doth straiten thee in all thy gates.

та няма да даде ни на едного от тях от месото на чадата си, които ще яде; защото не ще му остане нищо при обсадата и притеснението, с което неприятелят ти ще те притесни във всичките ти градове.

56 ` The tender woman in thee, and the delicate, who hath not tried the sole of her foot to place on the ground because of delicateness and because of tenderness -- her eye is evil against the husband of her bosom, and against her son, and against her daughter,

Жената между вас, която е изтънчена и изнежена, която не би дръзнала да тури на земята стъпалото на ногата си по причина на изтънченост и изнеженост, ще гледа с немилостиво око на мъжа, <който почива> на пазухата й, на сина си, на дъщеря си,

57 a nd against her seed which cometh out from between her feet, even against her sons whom she doth bear, for she doth eat them for the lacking of all things in secret, in the siege and in the straitness with which thine enemy doth straiten thee within thy gates.

и на малкото си <дете>, което е излязло измежду краката й, да! на чадата, които е родила; защото ще ги яде тайно поради лишението от всичко при обсадата и притеснението, с което неприятелят ти ще те притесни в градовете ти.

58 ` If thou dost not observe to do all the words of this law which are written in this book, to fear this honoured and fearful name -- Jehovah thy God --

Ако не внимаваш да изпълняваш всичките думи на тоя закон, които са написани в тая книга, и не се боиш от това славно и страшно име ИЕОВА ТВОЯ БОГ,

59 t hen hath Jehovah made wonderful thy strokes, and the strokes of thy seed -- great strokes, and stedfast, and evil sicknesses, and stedfast.

тогава Господ ще направи ужасни язвите върху тебе и язвите върху потомството ти, язви големи и непрестанни, и болести зли и непрестанни.

60 ` And He hath brought back on thee all the diseases of Egypt, of the presence of which thou hast been afraid, and they have cleaved to thee;

И ще навлече върху тебе всичките египетски болести, от които ти се боеше, и те ще се залепят за тебе;

61 a lso every sickness and every stroke which is not written in the book of this law; Jehovah doth cause them to go up upon thee till thou art destroyed,

още и всяка болест и всяка язва, която не е написана в книгата на тоя закон, Господ ще ги нанесе на тебе догде бъдеш изтребен.

62 a nd ye have been left with few men, instead of which ye have been as stars of the heavens for multitude, because thou hast not hearkened to the voice of Jehovah thy God.

Ще останете малцина на брой, - докато по множество бяхте като звездите на небето; защото ти не послуша гласа на Господа твоя Бог.

63 ` And it hath been, as Jehovah hath rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you, so doth Jehovah rejoice over you to destroy you, and to lay you waste; and ye have been pulled away from off the ground whither thou art going in to possess it;

И както бе драго на Господа да ви струва добро и да ви умножава, така ще бъде драго на Господа да ви изтребва и да ви погубва; и ще бъдете изкоренени от земята, в която отивате да я завладеете.

64 a nd Jehovah hath scattered thee among all the peoples, from the end of the earth even unto the end of the earth; and thou hast served there other gods which thou hast not known, thou and thy fathers -- wood and stone.

Господ ще те разпръсне между всичките племена от единия край на света до другия край на света; и там ще служиш на други богове, които нито ти си познавал нито бащите ти, на дърво и камък.

65 ` And among those nations thou dost not rest, yea, there is no resting-place for the sole of thy foot, and Jehovah hath given to thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and grief of soul;

Но и всред тия народи не ще намериш покой, нито ще има почивка за стъпалото на ногата ти; но там Господ ще ти даде треперене на сърцето, помрачаване на очите и изнемогване на душата.

66 a nd thy life hath been hanging in suspense before thee, and thou hast been afraid by night and by day, and dost not believe in thy life;

Животът ти ще бъде в неизвестност пред тебе; и ти ще се боиш денем и нощем, и не ще бъдеш уверен за живота си.

67 i n the morning thou sayest, O that it were evening! and in the evening thou sayest, O that it were morning! from the fear of thy heart, with which thou art afraid, and from the sight of thine eyes which thou seest.

Заран ще думаш: О да мръкнеше! и вечер ще думаш: О да съмнеше! поради страха, с който в сърцето си ще се страхуваш, и поради зрелищата, които с очите си ще виждаш.

68 ` And Jehovah hath brought thee back to Egypt with ships, by a way of which I said to thee, Thou dost not add any more to see it, and ye have sold yourselves there to thine enemies, for men-servants and for maid-servants, and there is no buyer.'

И Господ ще те върне в Египет с кораби през пътя, за който ти рекох: Вече няма да го видиш; и там ще <искате да> се продадете на неприятелите <си> за роби и за робини; но не ще има кой да ви купува.
