1 A nd Moses answereth and saith, `And, if they do not give credence to me, nor hearken to my voice, and say, Jehovah hath not appeared unto thee?'

А Моисей в отговор каза: Но, ето, те няма да ме повярват, нито да послушат думите ми, защото ще рекат: Не ти се е явил Господ.

2 A nd Jehovah saith unto him, `What this in thy hand?' and he saith, `A rod;'

Тогава Господ му каза: Що е това в ръката ти? А той рече: Жезъл.

3 a nd He saith, `Cast it to the earth;' and he casteth it to the earth, and it becometh a serpent -- and Moses fleeth from its presence.

И каза: Хвърли го на земята. И той го хвърли на земята, и стана змия; и Моисей побягна от нея.

4 A nd Jehovah saith unto Moses, `Put forth thy hand, and lay hold on the tail of it;' and he putteth forth his hand, and layeth hold on it, and it becometh a rod in his hand --

Но Господ каза на Моисея: Простри ръката си и хвани я за опашката; (и той простря ръката си и я хвана, и тя стана жезъл в ръката му);

5 ` -- so that they believe that Jehovah, God of their fathers, hath appeared unto thee, God of Abraham, God of Isaac, and God of Jacob.'

<стори това>, за да повярват, че ти се яви Господ, Бог на бащите им, Бог Авраамов, Бог Исааков, и Бог Яковов.

6 A nd Jehovah saith to him again, `Put in, I pray thee, thy hand into thy bosom;' and he putteth in his hand into his bosom, and he bringeth it out, and lo, his hand leprous as snow;

При това му рече Господ: Тури си сега ръката в пазухата. И той си тури ръката в пазухата; а като я извади, ето ръката му прокажена, <бяла> като сняг.

7 a nd He saith, `Put back thy hand unto thy bosom;' and he putteth back his hand unto his bosom, and he bringeth it out from his bosom, and lo, it hath turned back as his flesh --

Тогава рече Господ: Тури си пак ръката в пазухата; (и той пак си тури ръката в пазухата, и когато я извади из пазухата, ето, че бе станала пак като <останалата> му плът);

8 ` -- and it hath come to pass, if they do not give credence to thee, and hearken not to the voice of the first sign, that they have given credence to the voice of the latter sign.

и <продължи Господ>: Ако не те повярват, нито послушат гласа на първото знамение, ще повярват, <поради> гласа на второто знамение.

9 ` And it hath come to pass, if they do not give credence even to these two signs, nor hearken to thy voice, that thou hast taken of the waters of the River, and hast poured on the dry land, and the waters which thou takest from the River have been, yea, they have become -- blood on the dry land.'

Но ако не повярват и поради двете тия знамения, нито послушат думите ти, тогава да вземеш от водата на реката и да я излееш на сушата; и водата, която извадиш из реката, ще стане кръв на сушата.

10 A nd Moses saith unto Jehovah, `O, my Lord, I not a man of words, either yesterday, or before, or since Thy speaking unto Thy servant, for I slow of mouth, and slow of tongue.'

А Моисей рече Господу: Моля ти се, Господи, аз не съм красноречив, нито до сега, нито откак си почнал да говориш на слугата си, а мъчно говоря и съм тежкоезичен.

11 A nd Jehovah saith unto him, `Who appointed a mouth for man? or who appointeth the dumb, or deaf, or open, or blind? is it not I, Jehovah?

Но Господ му рече: Кой е направил човешките уста? или кой прави човек да е ням или глух, да има зрение или да е сляп? не Аз ли Господ?

12 a nd now, go, and I -- I am with thy mouth, and have directed thee that which thou speakest;'

Иди прочее; и Аз ще бъда с устата ти, и ще те науча какво да говориш.

13 a nd he saith, `O, my Lord, send, I pray thee, by the hand Thou dost send.'

Тогава каза <Моисей>: Моля ти се, Господи, прати чрез онзи, чрез когото искаш да пратиш.

14 A nd the anger of Jehovah burneth against Moses, and He saith, `Is not Aaron the Levite thy brother? I have known that he speaketh well, and also, lo, he is coming out to meet thee; when he hath seen thee, then he hath rejoiced in his heart,

И гневът Господен пламна против Моисея, и рече: Нямаш ли брат левиецът Аарон? Зная, че той може да говори добре. А и, ето, той излиза да те посрещне и, когато те види ще се зарадва сърдечно.

15 a nd thou hast spoken unto him, and hast set the words in his mouth, and I -- I am with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and have directed you that which ye do;

Ти говори нему и тури думите в устата му; и Аз ще бъда с твоите уста и с неговите уста, и ще ви науча що трябва да правите.

16 a nd he, he hath spoken for thee unto the people, and it hath come to pass, he -- he is to thee for a mouth, and thou -- thou art to him for God;

Вместо тебе нека говори той на людете; той ще бъде на тебе вместо уста, а ти ще бъдеш на него вместо Бога.

17 a nd this rod thou dost take in thy hand, with which thou doest the signs.'

И вземи в ръката си тоя жезъл, с който ще вършиш знаменията.

18 A nd Moses goeth and turneth back unto Jethro his father-in-law, and saith to him, `Let me go, I pray thee, and I turn back unto my brethren who in Egypt, and I see whether they are yet alive.' And Jethro saith to Moses, `Go in peace.'

Тогава Моисей отиде и се върна при тъста си Иотор и му рече: Моля ти се, нека отида и се завърна при братята си, които са в Египет, та да видя, живи ли са още. И Иотор рече на Моисея: Иди с мир.

19 A nd Jehovah saith unto Moses in Midian, `Go, turn back to Egypt, for all the men have died who seek thy life;'

А в Мадиам Господ рече на Моисея: Иди, върни се в Египет, защото измряха всички ония, които искаха живота ти.

20 a nd Moses taketh his wife, and his sons, and causeth them to ride on the ass, and turneth back to the land of Egypt, and Moses taketh the rod of God in his hand.

И тъй, Моисей взе жена си и синовете си, качи ги на осел, и тръгна да се върне в Египетската земя; Моисей взе и Божия жезъл в ръката си.

21 A nd Jehovah saith unto Moses, `In thy going to turn back to Egypt, see -- all the wonders which I have put in thy hand -- that thou hast done them before Pharaoh, and I -- I strengthen his heart, and he doth not send the people away;

И Господ каза на Моисея: Когато се завърнеш в Египет, внимавай да вършиш пред Фараона всичките чудеса, които дадох в ръката ти; но Аз ще закоравя сърцето му, и той няма да пусне людете.

22 a nd thou hast said unto Pharaoh, Thus said Jehovah, My son, My first-born Israel,

А ти кажи на Фараона: Така говори Иеова: Израил ми е син, първородният ми;

23 a nd I say unto thee, Send away My son, and he doth serve Me; and -- thou dost refuse to send him away -- lo, I am slaying thy son, thy first-born.'

и казвам ти: Пусни сина Ми да Ми послужи; но ако откажеш да го пуснеш, ето, Аз ще заколя твоя син, първородния ти.

24 A nd it cometh to pass in the way, in a lodging place, that Jehovah meeteth him, and seeketh to put him to death;

А по пътя, в гостилницата, Господ посрещна <Моисея> и искаше да го убие.

25 a nd Zipporah taketh a flint, and cutteth off the foreskin of her son, and causeth to touch his feet, and saith, `Surely a bridegroom of blood thou to me;'

Тогава Сепфора взе кремък та обряза краекожието на сина си, допря го до нозете му, и рече: Наистина ти ми си кървав младоженец.

26 a nd He desisteth from him: then she said, `A bridegroom of blood,' in reference to the circumcision.

След това <Господ> се оттегли от него. Тогава каза тя, поради обрязването: Ти <ми> си кървав младоженец.

27 A nd Jehovah saith unto Aaron, `Go to meet Moses into the wilderness;' and he goeth, and meeteth him in the mount of God, and kisseth him,

А Господ беше казал на Аарона: Иди в пустинята да посрещнеш Моисея. И той, като беше отишъл, посрещна го в Божията планина и целува го.

28 a nd Moses declareth to Aaron all the words of Jehovah with which He hath sent him, and all the signs with which He hath charged him.

И Моисей извести на Аарона всичките думи, с които Господ го беше изпратил, и всичките знамения, за които му беше заръчал.

29 A nd Moses goeth -- Aaron also -- and they gather all the elders of the sons of Israel,

Тогава Моисей и Аарон отидоха та събраха всичките старейшини на израилтяните;

30 a nd Aaron speaketh all the words which Jehovah hath spoken unto Moses, and doth the signs before the eyes of the people;

и Аарон каза всичките думи, които Господ беше говорил на Моисея, и извърши знаменията пред людете.

31 a nd the people believe when they hear that Jehovah hath looked after the sons of Israel, and that He hath seen their affliction; and they bow and do obeisance.

И людете повярваха; и когато чуха, че Господ посетил израилтяните, и че погледна на неволята им, наведоха главите си и се поклониха.
