1 I n the first year of Darius, son of Ahasuerus, of the seed of the Medes, who hath been made king over the kingdom of the Chaldeans,

В първата година на Дария Асуировия син, от рода на мидяните, който се постави цар над Халдейската държава, -

2 i n the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, have understood by books the number of the years, (in that a word of Jehovah hath been unto Jeremiah the prophet,) concerning the fulfilling of the wastes of Jerusalem -- seventy years;

в първата година от царуването му аз Даниил разбрах от <свещените> книги числото на годините, за които дойде Господното слово към пророк Еремия, че запустението на Ерусалим ще трае седемдесет години.

3 a nd I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes.

Тогава обърнах лицето си към Господа Бога, за да отправя <към него> молитва и молби с пост, вретище и пепел.

4 A nd I pray to Jehovah my God, and confess, and say: `I beseech Thee, O Lord God, the great and the fearful, keeping the covenant and the kindness to those loving Him, and to those keeping His commands;

Когато се помолих на Господа моя Бог и се изповядах, рекох: О Господи, велики и страшни Боже, Който пазиш завета и милостта <Си> към ония, които Те любят и пазят Твоите заповеди!

5 w e have sinned, and done perversely, and done wickedly, and rebelled, to turn aside from Thy commands, and from Thy judgments:

Съгрешихме, постъпихме извратено, вършихме нечестие, бунтувахме се и се отклонихме от Твоите заповеди и от Твоите съдби;

6 a nd we have not hearkened unto Thy servants, the prophets, who have spoken in Thy name unto our kings, our heads, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land.

и не послушахме слугите Ти пророците, които говориха в Твое име на царете ни и на началниците ни, на бащите ни и на всичките люде на земята <ни>.

7 ` To Thee, O Lord, the righteousness, and to us the shame of face, as this day, to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to all Israel, who are near, and who are far off, in all the lands whither Thou hast driven them, in their trespass that they have trespassed against Thee.

На Тебе Господи, прилича правда, а на нас срам на лицето, както е и днес, на Юдовите, мъже на ерусалимските жители и на целия Израил, както на ония, които са ближни, така и на ония, които са далечни по всички страни гдето си ги изгонил поради престъплението, което извършиха против Тебе.

8 ` O Lord, to us the shame of face, to our kings, to our heads, and to our fathers, in that we have sinned against Thee.

Господи, срам на лицето подобава на нас, на царете ни, на началниците ни и на бащите ни, защото Ти съгрешихме,

9 ` To the Lord our God the mercies and the forgivenesses, for we have rebelled against Him,

На Господа нашия Бог принадлежат милост и прощение, защото се възбунтувахме против Него,

10 a nd have not hearkened to the voice of Jehovah our God, to walk in His laws, that He hath set before us by the hand of His servants the prophets;

и не послушахме гласа на Господа нашия Бог да ходим по законите, които положи пред нас чрез слугите Си пророците.

11 a nd all Israel have transgressed Thy law, to turn aside so as not to hearken to Thy voice; and poured on us is the execration, and the oath, that is written in the law of Moses, servant of God, because we have sinned against Him.

Да! Целият Израил престъпи закона Ти, като се отклони та не послуша гласа Ти; за която причина се изля върху нас проклетията и клетвата написана в закона на Божия слуга Моисей; защото Му съгрешихме.

12 ` And He confirmeth His words that He hath spoken against us, and against our judges who have judged us, to bring in upon us great evil, in that it hath not been done under the whole heavens as it hath been done in Jerusalem,

Той потвърди думите, които изговори против нас и против нашите съдии, които са ни съдили, като докара върху нас голямо зло; защото никъде под небето не е ставало това което стана на Ерусалим.

13 a s it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil hath come upon us, and we have not appeased the face of Jehovah our God to turn back from our iniquities, and to act wisely in Thy truth.

Всичкото това зло, както е писано в Моисеевия закон, дойде върху нас; но пак не се молихме пред Господа нашия Бог за да се върнем от беззаконията си и да постъпваме разумно според истината Ти.

14 A nd Jehovah doth watch for the evil, and bringeth it upon us, for righteous Jehovah our God concerning all His works that He hath done, and we have not hearkened to His voice.

Затова Господ е бдял за това зло, и <вече> го е докарал върху нас; защото Господ нашият Бог е справедлив във всичките дела, които върши; и ние не послушахме гласа Му.

15 A nd now, O Lord our God, who hast brought forth Thy people from the land of Egypt by a strong hand, and dost make for Thee a name as at this day, we have sinned, we have done wickedly.

И сега, Господи Боже наш, Който си извел людете Си из Египетската земя с мощна ръка, и си спечелил за Себе Си име каквото <имаш> днес, съгрешихме и вършихме нечестие.

16 ` O Lord, according to all Thy righteous acts, let turn back, I pray Thee, Thine anger and Thy fury from Thy city Jerusalem, Thy holy mount, for by our sins, and by the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and Thy people for a reproach to all our neighbours;

Господи, според всичката Твоя правда, моля се, нека гневът Ти и яростта Ти се отвърнат от Твоя град Ерусалим, светия Ти хълм; защото поради нашите грехове и поради беззаконията на бащите ни Ерусалим и Твоите люде станахме за укор на всички, които са около нас.

17 a nd now, hearken, O our God, unto the prayer of Thy servant, and unto his supplication, and cause Thy face to shine on Thy sanctuary that desolate, for the Lord's sake.

Сега, прочее, послушай, Боже наш, молитвата на слугата Ти и молбите му, и заради Господа, осияй с лицето Си върху запустялото Си светилище.

18 ` Incline, O my God, Thine ear, and hear, open Thine eyes and see our desolations, and the city on which Thy name is called; for not for our righteous acts are we causing our supplications to fall before Thee, but for Thy mercies that many.

Боже мой, приклони ухото Си и послушай; отвори очите Си и виж опустошенията ни, и града, който се нарича с Твоето име; защото ние не принасяме прошенията си пред Тебе заради нашата правда, но заради многото Твои щедрости.

19 O lord, hear, O Lord, forgive; O Lord, attend and do; do not delay, for Thine own sake, O my God, for Thy name is called on Thy city, and on Thy people.'

Господи, послушай; Господи, прости; Господи, дай внимание и подействувай; да не закъснееш, заради Себе Си, Боже мой; защото с Твоето име се наричат града Ти и людете Ти.

20 A nd while I am speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin, and the sin of my people Israel, and causing my supplication to fall before Jehovah my God, for the holy mount of my God,

И докато още говорех и се молех, и изповядвах своя грях и греха на людете си Израиля, и принасях молбата си пред Господа моя Бог за светия хълм на моя Бог,

21 y ea, while I am speaking in prayer, then that one Gabriel, whom I had seen in vision at the commencement, being caused to fly swiftly, is coming unto me at the time of the evening present.

дори още като говорех в молитвата, мъжът Гавриил, когото бях видял във видението по-напред, като летеше бързо се приближи до мене около часа на вечерната жертва.

22 A nd he giveth understanding, and speaketh with me, and saith, `O Daniel, now I have come forth to cause thee to consider understanding wisely;

И вразуми ме като говори с мене, казвайки: Данииле, сега излязох да те направя способен да разбереш.

23 a t the commencement of thy supplications hath the word come forth, and I have come to declare, for thou greatly desired, and understand thou concerning the matter, and consider concerning the appearance.

Когато ти почна да се молиш заповедта излезе; и аз дойдох да ти кажа <това>, защото си възлюблен; затова размисли за работата и разбери видението.

24 ` Seventy weeks are determined for thy people, and for thy holy city, to shut up the transgression, and to seal up sins, and to cover iniquity, and to bring in righteousness age-during, and to seal up vision and prophet, and to anoint the holy of holies.

Седемдесет седмици са определени за людете ти и за светия ти град за въздържането на престъплението, за довършване греховете, и за правене умилостивение за беззаконието, и да се въведе вечна правда, да се запечата видението и пророчеството, и да се помаже Пресветият.

25 A nd thou dost know, and dost consider wisely, from the going forth of the word to restore and to build Jerusalem till Messiah the Leader seven weeks, and sixty and two weeks: the broad place hath been built again, and the rampart, even in the distress of the times.

Знай, прочее, и разбери, че от излизането на заповедта да се съгради изново Ерусалим до княза Месия ще бъдат седем седмици; и за шестдесет и две седмици ще се съгради изново, с улици и окоп, макар в размирни времена.

26 A nd after the sixty and two weeks, cut off is Messiah, and the city and the holy place are not his, the Leader who hath come doth destroy the people; and its end with a flood, and till the end war, determined desolations.

И подир шестдесет и две седмици Месия ще бъде посечен, и не ще има кои да Му принадлежат; и людете на княза, който ще дойде, ще погубят града и светилището; и краят му ще <го постигне> чрез потоп; и до края на войната има определени опустошения.

27 A nd he hath strengthened a covenant with many -- one week, and the midst of the week he causeth sacrifice and present to cease, and by the wing of abominations he is making desolate, even till the consummation, and that which is determined is poured on the desolate one.'

И Той ще потвърди завет с мнозина за една седмица, а в половината на седмицата ще направи да престанат жертвата и приносът; и един, който запустява, <ще дойде яздещ> на крилото на мерзостите; и гняв ще се излее върху запустителя до определеното време.
