1 A nd again he began to teach by the sea, and there was gathered unto him a great multitude, so that he, having gone into the boat, sat in the sea, and all the multitude was near the sea, on the land,

Isus a început iarăş să înveţe pe norod lîngă mare. Fiindcă se adunase foarte mult norod la El, S'a suit şi a şezut într'o corabie, pe mare; iar tot norodul stătea pe ţărm lîngă mare.

2 a nd he taught them many things in similes, and he said to them in his teaching:

Apoi a început să -i înveţe multe lucruri în pilde; şi, în învăţătura pe care le -o dădea, le spunea:

3 ` Hearken, lo, the sower went forth to sow;

Ascultaţi! Iată, sămănătorul a ieşit să samene.

4 a nd it came to pass, in the sowing, some fell by the way, and the fowls of the heaven did come and devour it;

Pe cînd sămăna, o parte din sămînţă a căzut lîngă drum: au venit păsările şi au mîncat -o.

5 a nd other fell upon the rocky ground, where it had not much earth, and immediately it sprang forth, because of not having depth of earth,

O altă parte a căzut pe un loc stîncos, unde n'avea mult pămînt: a răsărit îndată, pentrucă n'a dat de un pămînt adînc;

6 a nd the sun having risen, it was scorched, and because of not having root it did wither;

dar, cînd a răsărit soarele, s'a pălit; şi, pentrucă n'avea rădăcină, s'a uscat.

7 a nd other fell toward the thorns, and the thorns did come up, and choke it, and fruit it gave not;

O altă parte a căzut între spini; spinii au crescut, au înecat -o, şi n'a dat roadă.

8 a nd other fell to the good ground, and was giving fruit, coming up and increasing, and it bare, one thirty-fold, and one sixty, and one an hundred.'

O altă parte a căzut în pămînt bun: a dat roadă, care se înălţa şi creştea; şi a adus: una treizeci, alta şaizeci, şi alta o sută.``

9 A nd he said to them, `He who is having ears to hear -- let him hear.'

Apoi a zis: cine are urechi de auzit, să audă.``

10 A nd when he was alone, those about him, with the twelve, did ask him of the simile,

Cînd a fost singur, ceice erau în jurul Lui împreună cu cei doisprezece, L-au întrebat despre pilde.

11 a nd he said to them, `To you it hath been given to know the secret of the reign of God, but to those who are without, in similes are all the things done;

Vouă,`` le -a zis El,,, v'a fost dat să cunoaşteţi taina Împărăţiei lui Dumnezeu; dar pentru ceice sînt afară din numărul vostru, toate lucrurile sînt înfăţişate în pilde;

12 t hat seeing they may see and not perceive, and hearing they may hear and not understand, lest they may turn, and the sins may be forgiven them.'

pentruca,,, măcar că privesc, să privească şi să nu vadă, şi măcar că aud, să audă şi să nu înţeleagă, ca nu cumva să se întoarcă la Dumnezeu, şi să li se ierte păcatele.``

13 A nd he saith to them, `Have ye not known this simile? and how shall ye know all the similes?

El le -a mai zis:,, Nu înţelegeţi pilda aceasta? Cum veţi înţelege atunci toate celelalte pilde?``

14 H e who is sowing doth sow the word;

Sămănătorul samănă Cuvîntul.

15 a nd these are they by the way where the word is sown: and whenever they may hear, immediately cometh the Adversary, and he taketh away the word that hath been sown in their hearts.

Cei înfăţişaţi prin sămînţa căzută lîngă drum, sînt aceia în cari este sămănat Cuvîntul; dar dupăce l-au auzit, vine Satana îndată, şi ia Cuvîntul sămănat în ei.

16 ` And these are they, in like manner, who on the rocky ground are sown: who, whenever they may hear the word, immediately with joy do receive it,

Tot aşa, cei înfăţişaţi prin sămînţa căzută în locurile stîncoase, sînt aceia cari, cînd aud Cuvîntul, îl primesc îndată cu bucurie;

17 a nd have not root in themselves, but are temporary; afterward tribulation or persecution having come because of the word, immediately they are stumbled.

dar n'au rădăcină în ei, ci ţin pînă la o vreme; şi cum vine un necaz sau o prigonire din pricina Cuvîntului, se leapădă îndată de el.

18 ` And these are they who toward the thorns are sown: these are they who are hearing the word,

Alţii sînt cei înfăţişaţi prin sămînţa căzută între spini; aceştia sînt cei ce aud Cuvîntul;

19 a nd the anxieties of this age, and the deceitfulness of the riches, and the desires concerning the other things, entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

dar năvălesc în ei grijile lumii, înşelăciunea bogăţiilor şi poftele altor lucruri, cari îneacă Cuvîntul, şi -l fac astfel neroditor.

20 ` And these are they who on the good ground have been sown: who do hear the word, and receive, and do bear fruit, one thirty-fold, and one sixty, and one an hundred.'

Alţii apoi sînt înfăţişaţi prin sămînţa căzută în pămînt bun. Aceştia sînt cei ce aud Cuvîntul, îl primesc, şi fac roadă: unul treizeci, altul şaizeci şi altul o sută.``

21 A nd he said to them, `Doth the lamp come that under the measure it may be put, or under the couch -- not that it may be put on the lamp-stand?

El le -a mai zis:,, Oare lumina este adusă ca să fie pusă supt baniţă, sau supt pat? Nu este adusă ca să fie pusă în sfeşnic?

22 f or there is not anything hid that may not be manifested, nor was anything kept hid but that it may come to light.

Căci nu este nimic ascuns, care nu va fi descoperit, şi nimic tăinuit, care nu va ieşi la lumină.

23 I f any hath ears to hear -- let him hear.'

Dacă are cineva urechi de auzit, să audă.``

24 A nd he said to them, `Take heed what ye hear; in what measure ye measure, it shall be measured to you; and to you who hear it shall be added;

El le -a mai zis:,, Luaţi seama la ce auziţi. Cu ce măsură veţi măsura, vi se va măsura: şi vi se va da şi mai mult.

25 f or whoever may have, there shall be given to him, and whoever hath not, also that which he hath shall be taken from him.'

Căci celui ce are, i se va da; dar dela celce n'are, se va lua şi ce are.``

26 A nd he said, `Thus is the reign of God: as if a man may cast the seed on the earth,

El a mai zis:,, Cu Împărăţia lui Dumnezeu este ca atunci cînd aruncă un om sămînţa în pămînt;

27 a nd may sleep, and may rise night and day, and the seed spring up and grow, he hath not known how;

fie că doarme noaptea, fie că stă treaz ziua: sămînţa încolţeşte şi creşte fără să ştie el cum.

28 f or of itself doth the earth bear fruit, first a blade, afterwards an ear, afterwards full corn in the ear;

Pămîntul rodeşte singur: întîi un fir verde, apoi spic, după aceea grîu deplin în spic;

29 a nd whenever the fruit may yield itself, immediately he doth send forth the sickle, because the harvest hath come.'

şi cînd este coaptă roada, pune îndată secerea în ea, pentrucă a venit secerişul.``

30 A nd he said, `To what may we liken the reign of God, or in what simile may we compare it?

El a mai zis:,, Cu ce vom asemăna Împărăţia lui Dumnezeu, sau prin ce pildă o vom înfăţişa?

31 A s a grain of mustard, which, whenever it may be sown on the earth, is less than any of the seeds that are on the earth;

Se aseamănă cu un grăunte de muştar, care, cînd este sămănat în pămînt, este cea mai mică dintre toate seminţele de pe pămînt;

32 a nd whenever it may be sown, it cometh up, and doth become greater than any of the herbs, and doth make great branches, so that under its shade the fowls of the heaven are able to rest.'

dar, după ce a fost sămănat, creşte şi se face mai mare decît toate zarzavaturile, şi face ramuri mari, aşa că păsările cerului îşi pot face cuiburi la umbra lui.``

33 A nd with many such similes he was speaking to them the word, as they were able to hear,

Isus le vestea Cuvîntul prin multe pilde de felul acesta, după cum erau ei în stare să -L priceapă.

34 a nd without a simile he was not speaking to them, and by themselves, to his disciples he was expounding all.

Nu le vorbea de loc fără pildă; dar, cînd era singur la o parte, lămurea ucenicilor Săi toate lucrurile.

35 A nd he saith to them on that day, evening having come, `We may pass over to the other side;'

În aceeaş zi, seara, Isus le -a zis:,, Să trecem în partea cealaltă.``

36 a nd having let away the multitude, they take him up as he was in the boat, and other little boats also were with him.

Dupăce au dat drumul norodului, ucenicii L-au luat în corabia în care se afla, şi aşa cum era. Împreună cu El mai erau şi alte corăbii.

37 A nd there cometh a great storm of wind, and the waves were beating on the boat, so that it is now being filled,

S'a stîrnit o mare furtună de vînt, care arunca valurile în corabie, aşa că mai că se umplea corabia.

38 a nd he himself was upon the stern, upon the pillow sleeping, and they wake him up, and say to him, `Teacher, art thou not caring that we perish?'

Şi El dormea la cîrmă pe căpătîi. Ucenicii L-au deşteptat, şi I-au zis:,,Învăţătorule, nu-Ţi pasă că pierim?``

39 A nd having waked up, he rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, `Peace, be stilled;' and the wind did lull, and there was a great calm:

El S'a sculat, a certat vîntul, şi a zis mării:,, Taci! Fără gură!`` Vîntul a stat, şi s'a făcut o linişte mare.

40 a nd he said to them, `Why are ye so fearful? how have ye not faith?'

Apoi le -a zis:,, Pentruce sînteţi aşa de fricoşi? Tot n'aveţi credinţă?``

41 a nd they feared a great fear, and said one to another, `Who, then, is this, that even the wind and the sea do obey him?'

I -a apucat o mare frică, şi ziceau unii către alţii:,, Cine este acesta de Îl ascultă chiar şi vîntul şi marea?``
