1 A nd at the completion of all this, gone out have all Israel who are found present to the cities of Judah, and break the standing-pillars, and cut down the shrines, and break down the high places and the altars, out of all Judah and Benjamin, and in Ephraim and Manasseh, even to completion, and all the sons of Israel turn back, each to his Possession, to their cities.

Cînd s'au isprăvit toate acestea, toţi cei din Israel cari erau de faţă au plecat în cetăţile lui Iuda, şi au sfărîmat stîlpii idoleşti, au tăiat Astarteele, şi au surpat de tot înălţimile şi altarele din tot Iuda şi Beniamin şi din Efraim şi Manase. Apoi toţi copiii lui Israel s'au întors în cetăţile lor, fiecare la moşia lui.

2 A nd Hezekiah appointeth the courses of the priests, and of the Levites, by their courses, each according to his service, of the priests and of the Levites, for burnt-offering, and for peace-offerings, to minister, and to give thanks, and to give praise in the gates of the camps of Jehovah.

Ezechia a aşezat din nou cetele preoţilor şi Leviţilor, după şirul lor, fiecare după slujbele sale, preoţi şi Leviţi, pentru arderile de tot şi jertfele de mulţămire, pentru slujbă, pentru cîntări şi laude, la porţile taberii Domnului.

3 A nd a portion of the king, from his substance, for burnt-offerings, for burnt-offerings of the morning, and of the evening, and the burnt-offerings of sabbaths, and of new moons, and of appointed seasons, as it is written in the law of Jehovah.

Împăratul a dat o parte din averile lui pentru arderi de tot, pentru arderile de tot de dimineaţă şi de seară, şi pentru arderile de tot din zilele de Sabat, de lună nouă şi de sărbători, cum este scris în legea Domnului.

4 A nd he saith to the people, to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to give the portion of the priests, and of the Levites, so that they are strengthened in the law of Jehovah;

Şi a poruncit poporului, locuitorilor Ierusalimului, să dea preoţilor şi Leviţilor partea cuvenită lor, ca să ţină cu scumpătate legea Domnului.

5 a nd at the spreading forth of the thing have the sons of Israel multiplied the first-fruit of corn, new wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field, and the tithe of the whole in abundance they have brought in.

Cînd a ieşit porunca aceasta, copiii lui Israel au dat din belşug cele dintîi roade de grîu, de must, de untdelemn, de miere, şi din toate roadele de pe cîmp; au adus din belşug şi zeciuiala din toate.

6 A nd the sons of Israel and Judah, those dwelling in cities of Judah, they also a tithe of herd and flock, and a tithe of the holy things that are sanctified to Jehovah their God, have brought in, and they give -- heaps, heaps;

Tot odată, copiii lui Israel şi Iuda, cari locuiau în cetăţile lui Iuda, au dat zeciuiala din boi şi oi, şi zeciuiala din lucrurile sfinte cari erau închinate Domnului, Dumnezeului lor, şi au făcut mai multe grămezi.

7 i n the third month they have begun to lay the foundation of the heaps, and in the seventh month they have finished.

Au început să facă grămezile în luna a treia, şi au isprăvit în luna a şaptea.

8 A nd Hezekiah and the heads come in and see the heaps, and bless Jehovah and His people Israel,

Ezechia şi căpeteniile au venit să vadă grămezile, şi au binecuvîntat pe Domnul şi pe poporul Său Israel.

9 a nd Hezekiah inquireth at the priests and the Levites concerning the heaps,

Şi Ezechia a întrebat pe preoţi şi pe Leviţi de grămezile acestea.

10 a nd Azariah the head priest, of the house of Zadok, speaketh unto him, and saith, `From the beginning of the bringing of the heave-offering to the house of Jehovah, to eat, and to be satisfied, and to leave abundantly, for Jehovah hath blessed His people, and that left this store.'

Atunci marele preot Azaria, din casa lui Ţadoc, i -a răspuns:,, De cînd au început să se aducă darurile în Casa Domnului, noi am mîncat, ne-am săturat, şi a mai rămas mult, căci Domnul a binecuvîntat pe poporul Său. Şi iată ce mare grămadă a mai rămas!``

11 A nd Hezekiah saith to prepare chambers in the house of Jehovah, and they prepare,

Ezechia a dat poruncă să pregătească nişte cămări în Casa Domnului; şi le-au pregătit.

12 a nd they bring in the heave-offering, and the tithe, and the holy things faithfully; and over them is a leader, Conaniah the Levite, and Shimei his brother second;

Au adus în ele cu credincioşie darurile de mîncare, zeciuiala, şi lucrurile sfinte. Levitul Conania avea grija lor, şi fratele său Şimei era al doilea după el.

13 a nd Jehiel, and Azaziah, and Nahath, and Asahel, and Jerimoth, and Jozabad, and Eliel, and Ismachiah, and Mahath, and Benaiah, inspectors under the hand of Conaniah and Shimei his brother, by the appointment of Hezekiah the king, and Azariah leader of the house of God.

Iehiel, Azazia, Nahat, Asael, Ierimot, Iozabad, Eliel, Ismachia, Mahat şi Benaia erau întrebuinţaţi supt cîrmuirea lui Conania şi a fratelui său Şimei, după porunca împăratului Ezechia şi a lui Azaria, căpetenia Casei lui Dumnezeu.

14 A nd Kore son of Imnah the Levite, the gatekeeper at the east, over the willing-offerings of God, to give the heave-offering of Jehovah, and the most holy things.

Levitul Core, fiul lui Imna, uşier în partea de răsărit, avea grijă de darurile de bună voie aduse lui Dumnezeu, ca să împartă ce era adus Domnului prin ridicare şi lucrurile prea sfinte.

15 A nd by his hand Eden, and Miniamin, and Jeshua, and Shemaiah, Amariah, and Shechaniah, in cities of the priests, faithfully to give to their brethren in courses, as the great so the small,

În cetăţile preoţeşti, Eden, Miniamin, Iosua, Şemaia, Amaria şi Şecania erau puşi supt cîrmuirea lui ca să împartă cu credincioşie fraţilor lor, mari şi mici, partea cuvenită lor, după cetele lor:

16 a part from their genealogy, to males from a son of three years and upward, to every one who hath gone in to the house of Jehovah, by the matter of a day in its day, for their service in their charges, according to their courses;

celor de parte bărbătească înscrişi dela vîrsta de trei ani în sus; tuturor celor ce intrau zilnic în Casa Domnului ca să-şi facă slujba după însărcinările şi după cetele lor;

17 a nd the genealogy of the priests by the house of their fathers, and of the Levites, from a son of twenty years and upward, in their charges, in their courses;

preoţilor înscrişi după casele lor părinteşti, şi Leviţilor dela douăzeci de ani în sus, după slujbele şi după cetele lor:

18 a nd to the genealogy among all their infants, their wives, and their sons, and their daughters to all the congregation, for in their faithfulness they sanctify themselves in holiness.

la toată adunarea preoţilor şi Leviţilor înscrişi cu toţi pruncii lor, cu nevestele lor, cu fiii şi fiicele lor, căci erau fără prihană în împărţirea lucrurilor sfinte.

19 A nd to sons of Aaron, the priests, in the fields of the suburb of their cities, in every city and city, men who have been defined by name, to give portions to every male among the priests, and to every one who reckoned himself by genealogy among the Levites.

Şi pentru fiii lui Aaron, preoţii, cari locuiau la ţară în împrejurimile cetăţilor lor, erau în fiecare cetate oameni numiţi anume, ca să împartă părţile cuvenite tuturor celor de parte bărbătească din preoţi şi tuturor Leviţilor înscrişi.

20 A nd Hezekiah doth thus in all Judah, and doth that which is good, and that which is right, and that which is true, before Jehovah his God;

Iată ce a făcut Ezechia în tot Iuda. El a făcut ce este bine, ce este drept, ce este adevărat, înaintea Domnului, Dumnezeului său.

21 a nd in every work that he hath begun for the service of the house of God, and for the law, and for the command, to seek to his God, with all his heart he hath wrought and prospered.

A lucrat cu toată inima, şi a izbutit în tot ce a făcut pentru Casa lui Dumnezeu, pentru lege şi pentru porunci, ca să caute pe Dumnezeul său.
