1 A nd the second lot goeth out for Simeon, for the tribe of the sons of Simeon, for their families; and their inheritance is in the midst of the inheritance of the sons of Judah,

A doua parte a căzut prin sorţi lui Simeon, seminţiei fiilor lui Simeon, după familiile lor. Moştenirea lor era în mijlocul moştenirii fiilor lui Iuda.

2 a nd they have in their inheritance Beer-Sheba, and Sheba, and Moladah,

3 a nd Hazar-Shual, and Balah, and Azem,

7 A in, Remmon, and Ether, and Ashan; four cities and their villages;

Ain, Rimon, Eter, şi Aşan, patru cetăţi, şi satele lor;

8 a lso all the villages which round about these cities, unto Baalath-Beer, Ramoth of the south. This the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, for their families;

şi toate satele din împrejurimile acestor cetăţi, pînă la Baalat-Beer, care este Ramatul de miazăzi, Aceasta a fost moştenirea seminţiei fiilor lui Simeon, după familiile lor.

9 o ut of the portion of the sons of Judah the inheritance of the sons of Simeon, for the portion of the sons of Judah hath been too much for them, and the sons of Simeon inherit in the midst of their inheritance.

Moştenirea fiilor lui Simeon a fost luată din partea de moştenire a fiilor lui Iuda; căci partea fiilor lui Iuda era prea mare pentru ei, şi de aceea fiii lui Simeon şi-au primit pe a lor în mijlocul moştenirii lor.

10 A nd the third lot goeth up for the sons of Zebulun, for their families; and the border of their inheritance is unto Sarid,

A treia parte a căzut prin sorţi fiilor lui Zabulon după familiile lor.

11 a nd their border hath gone up towards the sea, and Maralah, and come against Dabbasheth, and come unto the brook which on the front of Jokneam,

Hotarul moştenirii lor se întindea pînă la Sarid. La apus se suia spre Mareala, şi atingea Dabeşet, apoi pîrîul care curge înaintea Iocneamului.

12 a nd turned back from Sarid eastward, at the sun-rising, by the border of Chisloth-Tabor, and gone out unto Daberath, and gone up to Japhia,

Din Sarid se întorcea spre răsărit, spre răsăritul soarelui, pînă la hotarul Chislot-Taborului, mergea înainte la Dabrat, şi suia la Iafia.

13 a nd thence it hath passed over eastward, to the east, to Gittah-Hepher, Ittah-Kazin, and gone out Rimmon-Methoar to Neah;

De acolo trecea la răsărit prin Ghita-Hefer, prin Ita-Caţin, mergea la Rimon, şi se întorcea pînă la Nea.

14 a nd the border hath gone round about it, from the north to Hannathon; and its outgoings have been the valley of Jiphthah-El,

Se întorcea apoi înspre miazănoapte spre Hanaton, şi ieşea la valea Iiftah-El.

15 a nd Kattath, and Nahallal, and Shimron, and Idalah, and Beth-Lehem; twelve cities and their villages.

Coprindea Catat, Nahalal, Şimron, Iideala, Betleem: douăsprezece cetăţi, şi satele lor.

16 T his the inheritance of the sons of Zebulun, for their families, these cities and their villages.

Aceasta a fost moştenirea fiilor lui Zabulon, după familiile lor, cetăţile acestea şi satele lor.

17 F or Issachar hath the fourth lot gone out, for the sons of Issachar, for their families;

A patra parte a căzut prin sorţi lui Isahar, fiilor lui Isahar, după familiile lor.

18 a nd their border is Jezreel, and Chesulloth, and Shunem,

Hotarul lor trecea prin Izreel, Chesulot, Sunem,

19 a nd Haphraim, and Shihon, and Anaharath,

Hafaraim, Şion, Anaharat,

20 a nd Rabbith, and Kishion, and Abez,

Rabit, Chişion, Abeţ,

21 a nd Remeth, and En-Gannim, and En-Haddah, and Beth-Pazzez;

22 a nd the border hath touched against Tabor, and Shahazimah, and Beth-Shemesh, and the outgoings of their border have been the Jordan; sixteen cities and their villages.

Aceasta a fost moştenirea seminţiei fiilor lui Isahar, după familiile lor, cetăţile acestea şi satele lor.

24 A nd the fifth lot goeth out for the tribe of the sons of Asher, for their families;

A cincea parte a căzut prin sorţi seminţiei fiilor lui Aşer, după familiile lor.

25 a nd their border is Helkath, and Hali, and Beten, and Achshaph,

Hotarul lor trecea prin Helcat, Hali, Beten, Acşaf,

26 a nd Alammelech, and Amad, and Misheal; and it toucheth against Carmel westward, and against Shihor-Libnath;

Alamelec, Amead şi Mişeal; atingea, spre apus, Carmelul şi Şihor-Libnat;

27 a nd hath turned back, at the sun-rising, Beth-Dagon, and come against Zebulun, and against the valley of Jiphthah-El toward the north of Beth-Emek, and Neiel, and hath gone out unto Cabul on the left,

apoi se întorcea în spre răsărit la Bet-Dagon, se atingea de Zabulon şi de valea Iiftah-El la miazănoapte de Bet-Emec şi Neiel, şi se întindea spre Cabul, la stînga,

28 a nd Hebron, and Rehob, and Hammon, and Kanah, unto great Zidon;

şi spre Ebron, Rehob, Hamon şi Cana, pînă la Sidonul cel mare.

29 a nd the border hath turned back to Ramah, and unto the fenced city Tyre; and the border hath turned back to Hosah, and its outgoings are at the sea, from the coast to Achzib,

Se întorcea apoi spre Rama pînă la cetatea cea tare a Tirului, şi spre Hosa, şi ieşea la mare, prin ţinutul Aczib.

30 a nd Ummah, and Aphek, and Rehob; twenty and two cities and their villages.

Cuprindea: Uma, Afec şi Rehob; douăzeci şi două de cetăţi, şi satele lor.

31 T his the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Asher, for their families, these cities and their villages.

Aceasta a fost moştenirea seminţiei fiilor lui Aşer, după familiile lor, cetăţile acestea şi satele lor.

32 F or the sons of Naphtali hath the sixth lot gone out, for the sons of Naphtali, for their families;

A şasea parte a căzut prin sorţi fiilor lui Neftali, după familiile lor.

33 a nd their border is from Heleph, from Allon in Zaanannim, and Adami, Nekeb, and Jabneel, unto Lakkum, and its outgoings are the Jordan;

Hotarul lor se întindea dela Helef, dela Alon, prin Ţaananim, Adami-Necheb şi Iabneel, pînă la Lacum, şi ieşea la Iordan.

34 a nd the border hath turned back westward Aznoth-Tabor, and gone out thence to Hukkok, and touched against Zebulun on the south, and against Asher it hath touched on the west, and against Judah the Jordan, at the sun-rising;

Se întorcea spre apus la Aznot-Tabor, şi de acolo mergea înainte la Hucoc; se atingea de Zabulon, în spre miazăzi, de Aşer în spre apus, şi de Iuda; în spre răsărit era Iordanul.

35 a nd the cities of defence Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath, and Chinnereth,

Cetăţile tari erau: Ţidim, Ţer, Hamat, Racat, Chineret,

36 a nd Adamah, and Ramah, and Hazor,

Adama, Rama, Haţor,

37 a nd Kedesh, and Edrei, and En-Hazor,

Chedeş, Edrei, En-Haţor,

38 a nd Iron, and Migdal-El, Horem, and Beth-Anath, and Beth-Shemesh; nineteen cities and their villages.

40 F or the tribe of the sons of Dan, for their families, hath the seventh lot gone out;

A şaptea parte a căzut prin sorţi seminţiei fiilor lui Dan, după familiile lor.

41 a nd the border of their inheritance is Zorah, and Eshtaol, and Ir-Shemesh,

Hotarul moştenirii lor era Ţorea, Eştaol, Ir-Şemeş,

42 a nd Shalabbin, and Aijalon, and Jethlah,

Şaalabin, Aialon, Iitla,

43 a nd Elon, and Thimnathah, and Ekron,

Elon, Timnata, Ecron,

44 a nd Eltekeh, and Gibbethon, and Baalath,

Elteche, Ghibeton, Baalat,

45 a nd Jehud, and Bene-Barak, and Gath-Rimmon,

Iehud, Bene-Berac, Gat-Rimon,

46 a nd Me-Jarkon, and Rakkon, with the border over-against Japho.

47 A nd the border of the sons of Dan goeth out from them, and the sons of Dan go up and fight with Leshem, and capture it, and smite it by the mouth of the sword, and possess it, and dwell in it, and call Leshem, Dan, according to the name of Dan their father.

Ţinutul fiilor lui Dan se întindea şi în afară de acestea. Fiii lui Dan s'au suit şi s'au luptat împotriva lui Leşem; au pus mîna pe el şi l-au trecut prin ascuţişul săbiei; au pus stăpînire pe el, s'au aşezat în el şi l-au numit Dan, după numele tatălui lor Dan.

48 T his the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Dan, for their families, these cities and their villages.

Aceasta a fost moştenirea seminţiei fiilor lui Dan, după familiile lor, cetăţile acestea şi satele lor.

49 A nd they finish to give the land in inheritance, by its borders, and the sons of Israel give an inheritance to Joshua son of Nun in their midst;

Dupăce au isprăvit de împărţit ţara, după hotarele ei, copiii lui Israel au dat lui Iosua, fiul lui Nun, o moştenire în mijlocul lor.

50 b y the command of Jehovah they have given to him the city which he asked, Timnath-Serah, in the hill-country of Ephraim, and he buildeth the city and dwelleth in it.

După porunca Domnului, i-au dat cetatea pe care o cerea el: Timnat-Serah, în muntele lui Efraim. El a zidit cetatea din nou, şi şi -a aşezat locuinţa acolo.

51 T hese the inheritances which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the sons of Israel, have caused to inherit by lot, in Shiloh, before Jehovah, at the opening of the tent of meeting; and they finish to apportion the land.

Acestea sînt moştenirile pe cari le-au împărţit preotul Eleazar, Iosua, fiul lui Nun, şi căpeteniile de familie ale seminţiilor copiilor lui Israel, prin sorţi înaintea Domnului, la Silo, la uşa cortului întîlnirii. Astfel au isprăvit ei împărţirea ţării.
