1 A nd the second lot goeth out for Simeon, for the tribe of the sons of Simeon, for their families; and their inheritance is in the midst of the inheritance of the sons of Judah,

A doua parte a revenit lui Simeon, adică seminţiei urmaşilor lui Simeon, potrivit clanurilor lor, moştenirea acestora fiind pe teritoriul urmaşilor lui Iuda.

2 a nd they have in their inheritance Beer-Sheba, and Sheba, and Moladah,

Moştenirea lor cuprindea: Beer-Şeba, Şeba, Molada,

3 a nd Hazar-Shual, and Balah, and Azem,

Haţar-Şual, Bala, Eţem,

4 a nd Eltolad, and Bethul, and Hormah,

5 a nd Ziklag, and Beth-Marcaboth, and Hazar-Susah,

Ţiklag, Bet-Marcabot, Haţar-Susa,

6 a nd Beth-Lebaoth, and Sharuhen; thirteen cities and their villages.

Bet-Lebaot şi Şaruhen – treisprezece cetăţi cu satele dimprejurul lor.

7 A in, Remmon, and Ether, and Ashan; four cities and their villages;

Ayin, Rimon, Eter şi Aşan – patru cetăţi cu satele dimprejur,

8 a lso all the villages which round about these cities, unto Baalath-Beer, Ramoth of the south. This the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, for their families;

precum şi toate satele din jurul acestor cetăţi până la Baalat-Beer sau Ramat-Neghev. Aceasta era moştenirea seminţiei urmaşilor lui Simeon, potrivit clanurilor lor.

9 o ut of the portion of the sons of Judah the inheritance of the sons of Simeon, for the portion of the sons of Judah hath been too much for them, and the sons of Simeon inherit in the midst of their inheritance.

Moştenirea simeoniţilor a fost luată din teritoriul urmaşilor lui Iuda, pentru că teritoriul urmaşilor lui Iuda era prea mare pentru ei. Aşadar, urmaşii lui Simeon şi-au primit moştenirea pe teritoriul urmaşilor lui Iuda. Teritoriul moştenit de Zabulon

10 A nd the third lot goeth up for the sons of Zebulun, for their families; and the border of their inheritance is unto Sarid,

A treia parte a revenit urmaşilor lui Zabulon, potrivit clanurilor lor. Hotarul moştenirii lor se întindea până la Sarid,

11 a nd their border hath gone up towards the sea, and Maralah, and come against Dabbasheth, and come unto the brook which on the front of Jokneam,

mergea spre apus către Marala, atingând Dabeşet şi uedul care este în faţa Iokneamului.

12 a nd turned back from Sarid eastward, at the sun-rising, by the border of Chisloth-Tabor, and gone out unto Daberath, and gone up to Japhia,

Din Sarid se întorcea spre răsărit, spre răsăritul soarelui, până la hotarul Chislot-Taborului, ieşind la Dabrat şi urcând spre Iafia.

13 a nd thence it hath passed over eastward, to the east, to Gittah-Hepher, Ittah-Kazin, and gone out Rimmon-Methoar to Neah;

De aici, traversa spre răsărit către Gat-Hefer şi Et-Kaţin, ieşea la Rimon şi se întorcea către Nea,

14 a nd the border hath gone round about it, from the north to Hannathon; and its outgoings have been the valley of Jiphthah-El,

după care se întorcea spre nord, către Hanaton, mergând apoi până la valea Iftahel.

15 a nd Kattath, and Nahallal, and Shimron, and Idalah, and Beth-Lehem; twelve cities and their villages.

Cuprindea douăsprezece cetăţi cu satele dimprejur, printre care erau: Katat, Nahalal, Şimron, Idala şi Betleem.

16 T his the inheritance of the sons of Zebulun, for their families, these cities and their villages.

Aceasta era moştenirea urmaşilor lui Zabulon, potrivit clanurilor lor şi acestea erau cetăţile lor cu satele dimprejur. Teritoriul moştenit de Isahar

17 F or Issachar hath the fourth lot gone out, for the sons of Issachar, for their families;

A patra parte a revenit urmaşilor lui Isahar, potrivit clanurilor lor.

18 a nd their border is Jezreel, and Chesulloth, and Shunem,

Teritoriul lor cuprindea: Izreel, Chesulot, Şunem,

19 a nd Haphraim, and Shihon, and Anaharath,

Hafarayim, Şion, Anaharat,

20 a nd Rabbith, and Kishion, and Abez,

Rabit, Chişion, Ebeţ,

21 a nd Remeth, and En-Gannim, and En-Haddah, and Beth-Pazzez;

Remet, En-Ganim, En-Hada şi Bet-Paţeţ.

22 a nd the border hath touched against Tabor, and Shahazimah, and Beth-Shemesh, and the outgoings of their border have been the Jordan; sixteen cities and their villages.

Hotarul atingea apoi Taborul, Şahaţuma şi Bet-Şemeş, ieşind la Iordan. În total erau şaisprezece cetăţi cu satele dimprejurul lor.

23 T his the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Issachar, for their families, the cities and their villages.

Aceasta era moştenirea seminţiei urmaşilor lui Isahar, potrivit clanurilor lor, ţinând cont de cetăţile şi satele dimprejurul acestora. Teritoriul moştenit de Aşer

24 A nd the fifth lot goeth out for the tribe of the sons of Asher, for their families;

A cincea parte a revenit seminţiei urmaşilor lui Aşer, potrivit clanurilor lor.

25 a nd their border is Helkath, and Hali, and Beten, and Achshaph,

Teritoriul lor trecea prin Helkat, Hali, Beten, Acşaf,

26 a nd Alammelech, and Amad, and Misheal; and it toucheth against Carmel westward, and against Shihor-Libnath;

Ala-Melek, Amad şi Mişal. La apus atingea Carmelul şi Şihor-Libnatul,

27 a nd hath turned back, at the sun-rising, Beth-Dagon, and come against Zebulun, and against the valley of Jiphthah-El toward the north of Beth-Emek, and Neiel, and hath gone out unto Cabul on the left,

iar la răsărit se întorcea către Bet-Dagon, atingea Zabulon şi valea Iftahel la nord de Bet-Emek şi Neiel, ieşind în stânga, spre Cabul,

28 a nd Hebron, and Rehob, and Hammon, and Kanah, unto great Zidon;

Abdon, Rehob, Hamon şi Kana, până la Sidonul cel Mare.

29 a nd the border hath turned back to Ramah, and unto the fenced city Tyre; and the border hath turned back to Hosah, and its outgoings are at the sea, from the coast to Achzib,

Se întorcea apoi către Rama până la fortăreaţa Tirului şi către Hosa, după care atingea ţărmul mării în regiunea Aczib.

30 a nd Ummah, and Aphek, and Rehob; twenty and two cities and their villages.

Mai cuprindea şi Uma, Afek şi Rehob – în total douăzeci şi două de cetăţi cu satele dimprejurul lor.

31 T his the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Asher, for their families, these cities and their villages.

Cetăţile acestea împreună cu satele dimprejurul lor erau moştenirea seminţiei urmaşilor lui Aşer, potrivit clanurilor lor. Teritoriul moştenit de Neftali

32 F or the sons of Naphtali hath the sixth lot gone out, for the sons of Naphtali, for their families;

A şasea parte a revenit urmaşilor lui Neftali, potrivit clanurilor lor.

33 a nd their border is from Heleph, from Allon in Zaanannim, and Adami, Nekeb, and Jabneel, unto Lakkum, and its outgoings are the Jordan;

Hotarul lor pornea de la Helef şi de la stejarul din Ţaananim, trecea pe la Adami-Necheb şi Iabneel până la Lakum şi ieşea la Iordan,

34 a nd the border hath turned back westward Aznoth-Tabor, and gone out thence to Hukkok, and touched against Zebulun on the south, and against Asher it hath touched on the west, and against Judah the Jordan, at the sun-rising;

după care se întorcea spre apus prin Aznot-Tabor. De aici continua către Hukok, atingea teritoriul lui Zabulon în sud, pe cel al lui Aşer la apus, iar Iordanul la răsărit.

35 a nd the cities of defence Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath, and Chinnereth,

Cetăţile fortificate erau: Ţidim, Ţer, Hamat, Rakat, Chineret,

36 a nd Adamah, and Ramah, and Hazor,

Adama, Rama, Haţor,

37 a nd Kedesh, and Edrei, and En-Hazor,

Kedeş, Edrei, En-Haţor,

38 a nd Iron, and Migdal-El, Horem, and Beth-Anath, and Beth-Shemesh; nineteen cities and their villages.

Iron, Migdal-El, Horem, Bet-Anat şi Bet-Şemeş – nouăsprezece cetăţi cu satele dimprejurul lor.

39 T his the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali, for their families, the cities and their villages.

Cetăţile acestea împreună cu satele dimprejurul lor erau moştenirea seminţiei urmaşilor lui Neftali, potrivit clanurilor lor. Teritoriul moştenit de Dan

40 F or the tribe of the sons of Dan, for their families, hath the seventh lot gone out;

A şaptea parte a revenit seminţiei urmaşilor lui Dan, potrivit clanurilor lor.

41 a nd the border of their inheritance is Zorah, and Eshtaol, and Ir-Shemesh,

Hotarul moştenirii lor cuprindea: Ţora, Eştaol, Ir-Şemeş,

42 a nd Shalabbin, and Aijalon, and Jethlah,

Şaalabin, Aialon, Itla,

43 a nd Elon, and Thimnathah, and Ekron,

Elon, Timnata, Ekron,

44 a nd Eltekeh, and Gibbethon, and Baalath,

Elteche, Ghibeton, Baalat,

45 a nd Jehud, and Bene-Barak, and Gath-Rimmon,

Iehud, Bene-Berak, Gat-Rimon,

46 a nd Me-Jarkon, and Rakkon, with the border over-against Japho.

47 A nd the border of the sons of Dan goeth out from them, and the sons of Dan go up and fight with Leshem, and capture it, and smite it by the mouth of the sword, and possess it, and dwell in it, and call Leshem, Dan, according to the name of Dan their father.

Însă daniţii n-au reuşit să intre în posesia teritoriului lor, astfel că au pornit să lupte împotriva Leşemului: au atacat cetatea, au capturat-o, au trecut-o prin ascuţişul sabiei şi au ocupat-o. S-au stabilit în cetate şi au numit-o Dan, după numele strămoşului lor, Dan.

Cetăţile acestea împreună cu satele dimprejurul lor erau moştenirea seminţiei urmaşilor lui Dan, potrivit clanurilor lor. Teritoriul dat spre moştenire lui Iosua

49 A nd they finish to give the land in inheritance, by its borders, and the sons of Israel give an inheritance to Joshua son of Nun in their midst;

După ce au încheiat de împărţit ţara, potrivit hotarelor stabilite, israeliţii i-au dat şi lui Iosua, fiul lui Nun, o moştenire printre ei,

50 b y the command of Jehovah they have given to him the city which he asked, Timnath-Serah, in the hill-country of Ephraim, and he buildeth the city and dwelleth in it.

aşa cum poruncise Domnul. I-au dat cetatea pe care el o cerea, adică Timnat-Serah, în regiunea muntoasă a lui Efraim. Iosua a zidit cetatea din nou şi a locuit în ea.

51 T hese the inheritances which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the sons of Israel, have caused to inherit by lot, in Shiloh, before Jehovah, at the opening of the tent of meeting; and they finish to apportion the land.

Acestea sunt teritoriile pe care preotul Elazar, Iosua, fiul lui Nun, şi căpeteniile clanurilor din seminţiile lui Israel le-au dat ca moştenire, prin tragere la sorţi, la Şilo, în prezenţa Domnului, la intrarea Cortului Întâlnirii. Şi astfel ei au încheiat împărţirea ţării.
