1 ` And if his offering a sacrifice of peace-offerings, if out of the herd he is bringing near, whether male or female, a perfect one he doth bring near before Jehovah,

Dacă cineva va aduce un dar ca jertfă de pace din cireada lui, animalul, mascul sau femelă, trebuie să fie fără meteahnă şi aşa să fie adus înaintea Domnului.

2 a nd he hath laid his hand on the head of his offering, and hath slaughtered it at the opening of the tent of meeting, and sons of Aaron, the priests, have sprinkled the blood on the altar round about.

Să pună mâna pe capul jertfei sale şi să o înjunghie la intrarea în Cortul Întâlnirii, iar preoţii, fiii lui Aaron, să stropească sângele pe altar, de jur împrejur.

3 ` And he hath brought near from the sacrifice of the peace-offerings a fire-offering to Jehovah, the fat which is covering the inwards, and all the fat which on the inwards,

Apoi, din această jertfă de pace, să aducă o jertfă mistuită de foc pentru Domnul. Să o aducă din grăsimea care acoperă măruntaiele şi din toată grăsimea din jurul măruntaielor,

4 a nd the two kidneys, and the fat which on them, which on the flanks, and the redundance above the liver, (beside the kidneys he doth turn it aside),

din cei doi rinichi cu grăsimea de pe ei şi de pe coapse, precum şi din membrana ficatului, pe care o va desprinde odată cu rinichii.

5 a nd sons of Aaron have made it a perfume on the altar, on the burnt-offering which on the wood, which on the fire -- a fire-offering of sweet fragrance to Jehovah.

Fiii lui Aaron să le ardă pe altar, deasupra arderii de tot care va fi pe lemnele de pe foc, ca o jertfă mistuită de foc de o aromă plăcută Domnului.

6 ` And if his offering out of the flock for a sacrifice of peace-offerings to Jehovah, male or female, a perfect one he doth bring near;

Dacă darul lui ca jertfă de pace în cinstea Domnului este din turma lui, animalul, mascul sau femelă, trebuie să fie fără meteahnă.

7 i f a sheep he is bringing near his offering, then he hath brought it near before Jehovah,

Dacă aduce ca dar un miel, să-l aducă înaintea Domnului,

8 a nd hath laid his hand on the head of his offering, and hath slaughtered it before the tent of meeting, and sons of Aaron have sprinkled its blood on the altar round about.

să-şi pună mâna pe capul jertfei sale şi să o înjunghie înaintea Cortului Întâlnirii, iar fiii lui Aaron să-i stropească sângele pe altar, de jur împrejur.

9 ` And he hath brought near from the sacrifice of the peace-offerings a fire-offering to Jehovah, its fat, the whole fat tail (over-against the bone he doth turn it aside), and the fat which is covering the inwards, and all the fat which on the inwards,

Apoi, din jertfa de pace, să aducă o jertfă mistuită de foc pentru Domnul. Să o aducă din grăsime – şi anume toată grăsimea cozii care va fi desprinsă de la şira spinării, grăsimea de pe măruntaie şi toată grăsimea din jurul măruntaielor –

12 ` And if his offering a goat, then he hath brought it near before Jehovah,

Dacă darul lui este o capră, atunci va trebui s-o aducă înaintea Domnului,

13 a nd hath laid his hand on its head, and hath slaughtered it before the tent of meeting, and sons of Aaron have sprinkled its blood on the altar round about;

Apoi preotul să ardă toate acestea pe altar; este o mâncare adusă ca jertfă mistuită de foc de o aromă plăcută. Toată grăsimea este a Domnului.

17 ` A statute age-during to your generations in all your dwellings: any fat or any blood ye do not eat.'

Aceasta să fie o lege veşnică pentru toate generaţiile, în toate locurile unde veţi locui: să nu mâncaţi grăsimea şi să nu mâncaţi sângele.“
