1 I have been inquired of by those who asked not, I have been found by those who sought Me not, I have said, `Behold Me, behold Me,' Unto a nation not calling in My name.

„M-am făcut cunoscut celor ce nu întrebau de Mine; am fost găsit de cei ce nu Mă căutau. Am zis: «Iată-Mă, iată-Mă!» unui neam care nu chema Numele Meu.

2 I have spread out My hands all the day Unto an apostate people, Who are going in the way not good after their own thoughts.

Toată ziua Mi-am întins mâinile către un popor neascultător, care umblă pe o cale care nu este bună, în voia gândurilor lui;

3 T he people who are provoking Me to anger, To My face continually, Sacrificing in gardens, and making perfume on the bricks:

către un popor care nu conteneşte să Mă provoace pe faţă, aducând jertfe în grădini şi arzând tămâie pe altare din cărămidă;

4 W ho are dwelling among sepulchres, And lodge in reserved places, Who are eating flesh of the sow, And a piece of abominable things -- their vessels.

care stă în morminte şi-şi petrece noaptea în locuri tainice; care mănâncă carne de porc şi are bucate necurate în vasele lui;

5 W ho are saying, `Keep to thyself, come not nigh to me, For I have declared thee unholy.' These a smoke in Mine anger, A fire burning all the day.

care zice: «Stai deoparte! Nu te apropia de mine, căci sunt prea sfânt pentru tine!» Aceste lucruri sunt un fum în nările Mele, un foc care arde toată ziua.

6 L o, it is written before Me: `I am not silent, but have recompensed; And I have recompensed into their bosom,

Iată, stă scris înaintea Mea: «Nu voi tăcea, ci voi răsplăti pe deplin; voi pune o răsplată deplină în poala lor,

7 Y our iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, said Jehovah, Who have made perfume on the mountains, And on the heights have reproached Me, And I have measured their former work into their bosom.'

atât pentru nedreptăţile lor, cât şi pentru ale părinţilor lor»“, zice Domnul. Pentru că au ars tămâie pe munţi, şi M-au sfidat pe dealuri, voi măsura în poala lor o răsplată deplină pentru faptele lor din trecut.“

8 T hus said Jehovah: As the new wine is found in the cluster, And one hath said, `Destroy it not for a blessing in it,' So I do for My servants' sake, not to destroy the whole.

„Aşa vorbeşte Domnul: «După cum se mai găseşte suc într-un ciorchine, iar cineva spune: ‘Nu-l distruge, căci încă se mai află ceva bun în el!’, tot aşa voi face şi Eu de dragul robilor Mei: nu-i voi nimici pe toţi.

9 A nd I have brought out from Jacob a seed, And from Judah a possessor of My mount, And possess it do My chosen ones, And My servants do dwell there.

Voi face să iasă o sămânţă din Iacov şi din Iuda un moştenitor al munţilor Mei! Aleşii Mei îi vor moşteni şi robii Mei vor locui acolo.

10 A nd Sharon hath been for the habitation of a flock, And the valley of Achor for the lying down of a herd, For My people who have sought Me.

Şaronul va fi păşune pentru turme, iar valea Acor – un loc de odihnă pentru cirezi, pentru poporul care Mă caută.

11 A nd ye those forsaking Jehovah, Who are forgetting My holy mountain, Who are setting in array for Gad a table, And who are filling for Meni a mixture.

Cât despre voi, care-L părăsiţi pe Domnul, care uitaţi de muntele Meu cel sfânt, care întindeţi o masă ‘Norocului’ şi umpleţi o cupă de vin amestecat în cinstea ‘Destinului’,

12 A nd I have numbered you for the sword, And all of you for slaughter bow down, Because I called, and ye have not answered, I have spoken, and ye have not hearkened, And ye do the evil thing in Mine eyes, And on that which I desired not -- fixed.

vă voi destina sabiei. Toţi vă veţi pleca pentru înjunghiere, pentru că, atunci când am chemat, nu aţi răspuns, când am vorbit, nu aţi ascultat, ci aţi făcut ce era rău înaintea Mea şi aţi ales ceea ce nu-Mi era plăcut.»“

13 T herefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, My servants do eat, and ye do hunger, Lo, My servants do drink, and ye do thirst, Lo, My servants rejoice, and ye are ashamed,

„De aceea aşa vorbeşte Stăpânul Domn: «Iată! Robii Mei vor mânca, însă voi veţi flămânzi. Iată! Robii Mei vor bea, însă voi veţi înseta. Iată! Robii Mei se vor bucura, însă voi veţi fi făcuţi de ruşine.

14 L o, My servants sing from joy of heart, And ye cry from pain of heart, And from breaking of spirit ye do howl.

Iată! Robii Mei vor chiui dintr-o inimă veselă, însă voi veţi ţipa dintr-o inimă îndurerată şi vă veţi văita dintr-un duh zdrobit.

15 A nd ye have left your name For an oath for My chosen ones, And the Lord Jehovah hath put thee to death, And to His servants He giveth another name.

Vă veţi lăsa numele ca un blestem aleşilor Mei şi Stăpânul Domn vă va omorî, iar robilor Săi le va da un alt nume.

16 S o that he who is blessing himself in the earth, Doth bless himself In the God of faithfulness, And he who is swearing in the earth, Doth swear by the God of faithfulness, Because the former distresses have been forgotten, And because they have been hid from Mine eyes.

Oricine va rosti o binecuvântare în ţară, va rosti o binecuvântare prin Dumnezeul adevărului şi oricine va jura în ţară, va jura pe Dumnezeul adevărului, pentru că necazurile de dinainte sunt uitate şi ascunse de ochii Mei. Ceruri noi şi un pământ nou

17 F or, lo, I am creating new heavens, and a new earth, And the former things are not remembered, Nor do they ascend on the heart.

Căci iată, creez ceruri noi şi un pământ nou! Lucrurile de dinainte nu vor mai fi amintite şi nu vor mai reveni în mintea nimănui.

18 B ut joy ye, and rejoice for ever, that I Creator, For, lo, I am creating Jerusalem a rejoicing, And her people a joy.

Prin urmare, bucuraţi-vă şi veseliţi-vă pentru totdeauna de ceea ce creez, căci iată, creez Ierusalimul pentru a fi o veselie şi poporul lui, o bucurie.

19 A nd I have rejoiced in Jerusalem, And have joyed in My people, And not heard in her any more Is the voice of weeping, and the voice of crying.

Mă voi bucura de Ierusalim şi mă voi veseli de poporul Meu. Nu se va mai auzi în el nici plâns şi nici ţipăt,

20 T here is not thence any more a suckling of days, And an aged man who doth not complete his days, For the youth a hundred years old dieth, And the sinner, a hundred years old, is lightly esteemed.

nu va mai fi acolo nici un sugar care să trăiască doar câteva zile şi nici un bătrân care să nu-şi împlinească zilele. Cel care va muri la o sută de ani va fi considerat tânăr şi cel care nu va ajunge suta de ani va fi considerat blestemat.

21 A nd they have built houses, and inhabited, And planted vineyards, and eaten their fruit.

Îşi vor construi case şi vor locui în ele; vor planta vii şi vor mânca rodul lor.

22 T hey do not build, and another inhabit, They do not plant, and another eat, For as the days of a tree the days of My people, And the work of their hands wear out do My chosen ones.

Ei nu vor mai zidi case ca alţii să locuiască în ele, nu vor mai planta ca alţii să mănânce, căci, precum zilele unui copac, aşa vor fi şi zilele poporului Meu, iar aleşii Mei se vor bucura pe deplin de lucrul mâinilor lor.

23 T hey labour not for a vain thing, Nor do they bring forth for trouble, For the seed of the blessed of Jehovah they, And their offspring with them.

Ei nu vor trudi în van, nici nu vor naşte copii sortiţi pieirii, căci vor fi o sămânţă binecuvântată de Domnul, ei şi urmaşii lor.

24 A nd it hath come to pass, They do not yet call, and I answer, They are yet speaking, and I hear.

Înainte ca ei să Mă cheme, Eu le voi răspunde, înainte să termine de vorbit, Eu îi voi auzi!

25 W olf and lamb do feed as one, And a lion as an ox eateth straw, As to the serpent -- dust its food, They do no evil, nor destroy, In all My holy mountain, said Jehovah!

Lupul şi mielul vor paşte împreună, leul va mânca paie ca boul, iar hrana şarpelui va fi ţărâna! Ei nu vor face rău, nici nu vor distruge ceva pe întregul Meu munte sfânt, zice Domnul.»“
