1 A nd he causeth me to turn back the way of the gate of the outer sanctuary that is looking eastward, and it is shut.

M-a dus înapoi la poarta exterioară a Lăcaşului, care dădea înspre răsărit, dar era închisă.

2 A nd Jehovah saith unto me, `This gate is shut, it is not opened, and none doth go in by it, for Jehovah, God of Israel, hath come in by it, and it hath been shut.

Domnul mi-a zis: „Poarta aceasta va rămâne închisă şi nu va mai fi deschisă! Nimeni nu va intra pe ea, căci Domnul, Dumnezeul lui Israel, a intrat pe ea; de aceea va rămâne închisă.

3 T he prince, who prince, he sitteth by it to eat bread before Jehovah, by the way of the porch of the gate he cometh in, and by its way he goeth out.'

Numai prinţul va avea voie să stea înăuntrul porţii pentru a mânca pâine înaintea Domnului. El va trebui să intre însă prin porticul porţii şi să iasă tot pe acolo.“

4 A nd he bringeth me in the way of the north gate unto the front of the house, and I look, and lo, filled hath the honour of Jehovah the house of Jehovah, and I fall on my face.

M-a dus apoi prin poarta de nord în faţa Casei. M-am uitat şi iată că slava Domnului umplea Casa Domnului! Atunci am căzut cu faţa la pământ.

5 A nd Jehovah saith unto me, `Son of man, set thy heart, and see with thine eyes, and with thine ears hear, all that I am speaking with thee, of all the statutes of the house of Jehovah, and of all its laws; and thou hast set thy heart to the entrance of the house, with all the outlets of the sanctuary,

Domnul mi-a zis: „Fiul omului, ia aminte, priveşte cu atenţie şi ascultă cu băgare de seamă tot ceea ce-ţi spun despre toate reglementările şi despre toate legile privitoare la Casa Domnului. Fii cu luare aminte la intrarea Casei şi la toate ieşirile Lăcaşului.

6 a nd hast said unto the rebellious, unto the house of Israel: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Enough to you -- of all your abominations, O house of Israel.

Spune-le răzvrătiţilor acestora, celor din Casa lui Israel, că aşa vorbeşte Stăpânul Domn: «Voi cei din Casa lui Israel, destul cu urâciunile voastre!

7 I n your bringing in sons of a stranger, uncircumcised of heart, and uncircumcised of flesh, to be in My sanctuary, to pollute it, even My house, in your bringing near My bread, fat, and blood, and they break My covenant by all your abominations,

Pe lângă toate urâciunile voastre, aţi mai adus în Lăcaşul Meu şi nişte străini, cu inima necircumcisă şi cu trupul necircumcis, ca să-Mi profaneze Casa, în timp ce-Mi aduceaţi pâinea, grăsimea şi sângele ce Mi se cuveneau, şi aţi rupt astfel legământul Meu.

8 a nd ye have not kept the charge of My holy things, and ye set for keepers of My charge in My sanctuary for you.

Nu aţi păzit rânduiala lucrurilor Mele sfinte, ci i-aţi pus pe alţii în locul vostru să păzească rânduiala din Lăcaşul Meu.»

9 ` Thus said the Lord Jehovah: No son of a stranger, uncircumcised of heart, and uncircumcised of flesh, cometh in unto My sanctuary, even any son of a stranger, who in the midst of the sons of Israel,

Aşa vorbeşte Stăpânul Domn: «Nici un străin cu inima şi cu trupul necircumcise nu va intra în Lăcaşul Meu, nici unul dintre străinii care locuiesc printre israeliţi.

10 b ut -- the Levites who have gone far off from me, in the wandering of Israel when they went astray from Me after their idols, and they have borne their iniquity.

Iar leviţii care s-au îndepărtat de Mine, pe vremea când şi Israel rătăcea, care s-au abătut de la Mine, umblând după idoli, îşi vor purta pedeapsa pentru aceasta.

11 A nd they have been in My sanctuary ministrants, overseers at the gates of the house, and ministrants at the house; they slay the burnt-offering and the sacrifice for the people, and they stand before them to serve them.

Ei vor fi în Lăcaşul Meu slujitori însărcinaţi cu supravegherea porţilor Casei, slujitori ai Casei care vor înjunghia arderile de tot şi jertfele celor din popor şi vor sta înaintea lor ca să le slujească.

12 B ecause that they serve them before their idols, and have been to the house of Israel for a stumbling-block of iniquity, therefore I have lifted up my hand against them -- an affirmation of the Lord Jehovah -- and they have borne their iniquity.

Pentru că au slujit înaintea idolilor şi au fost o pricină de poticnire pentru cei din Casa lui Israel, jur cu mâna ridicată, zice Stăpânul Domn, că îşi vor purta pedeapsa.

13 A nd they draw not nigh unto Me to act as My priest, and to draw nigh unto any of My holy things, unto the holy of holies, and they have borne their shame and their abominations that they have done,

Nu se vor apropia de Mine ca să-Mi slujească ca preoţi, nu se vor apropia de lucrurile Mele cele sfinte, nici de lucrurile preasfinte, ci îşi vor purta ruşinea pentru urâciunile pe care le-au săvârşit.

14 a nd I made them keepers of the charge of the house, for all its service and for all that is done in it.

Totuşi le voi da slujba de păzitori ai rânduielilor din Casă, a tot ce se lucrează în ea, a tot ce se face acolo.

15 ` And the priests, the Levites, sons of Zadok, who have kept the charge of My sanctuary in the wandering of the sons of Israel from off Me, they draw near unto Me to serve Me, and have stood before Me, to bring near to Me fat and blood -- an affirmation of the Lord Jehovah:

Dar preoţii, adică leviţii, urmaşii lui Ţadok, care au păzit rânduiala Lăcaşului Meu când israeliţii rătăceau departe de Mine, ei se vor putea apropia de Mine ca să-Mi slujească şi vor putea sta înaintea Mea ca să-Mi aducă grăsime şi sânge, zice Stăpânul Domn.

16 t hey come in unto My sanctuary, and they draw near unto My table to serve Me, and they have kept My charge.

Numai ei vor putea intra în Lăcaşul Meu şi doar ei se vor putea apropia de masa Mea ca să-Mi slujească şi să păzească rânduiala Mea.

17 A nd it hath come to pass, in their going in unto the gates of the inner court, linen garments they put on; and no wool cometh up on them in their ministering in the gates of the inner court and within.

Când vor intra pe porţile curţii interioare, vor trebui să îmbrace haine de in şi să nu urce să slujească dincolo de porţile curţii interioare sau în Casă cu haine de lână pe ei.

18 L inen bonnets are on their head, and linen trousers are on their loins, they are not restrained with sweat.

Vor trebui să aibă pe cap turban de in, iar pe coapse izmene de in. Să nu se îmbrace cu nimic care i-ar putea face să transpire.

19 A nd in their going forth unto the outer court -- unto the outer court unto the people -- they strip off their garments, in which they are ministering, and have placed them in the holy chambers, and have put on other garments; and they do not sanctify the people in their own garments.

Când vor ieşi spre curtea exterioară, spre curtea din exterior unde este poporul, să se dezbrace de veşmintele cu care au slujit şi să le lase în odăile sfinte. Să se îmbrace cu alte veşminte, ca să nu sfinţească poporul cu veşmintele lor.

20 A nd their head they do not shave, and the lock they do not send forth; they certainly poll their heads.

Să nu-şi radă capul şi nici să nu-şi lase părul să crească în voie, ci să-l tundă.

21 A nd no priest doth drink wine in their coming in unto the inner court.

Nici un preot să nu bea vin când intră în curtea interioară.

22 A nd a widow and divorced woman they do not take to them for wives: but -- virgins of the seed of the house of Israel, and the widow who is widow of a priest, do they take.

Să nu se căsătorească cu o văduvă sau cu o femeie lăsată de bărbat, ci numai cu o fecioară israelită. Totuşi vor putea să se căsătorească şi cu o văduvă de preot.

23 ` And My people they direct between holy and common, and between unclean and clean they cause them to discern.

Să-Mi înveţe poporul să facă deosebire între ce este sfânt şi ce este obişnuit şi să le arate diferenţa dintre ce este necurat şi ce este curat.

24 A nd concerning controversy, they stand up for judgment; with My judgments they judge it; and My law and My statutes in all My appointed places they keep; and My sabbaths they sanctify.

În orice ceartă, ei vor avea dreptul să judece şi să hotărască după rânduielile Mele. Să păzească legile şi hotărârile Mele cu privire la toate sărbătorile Mele şi să sfinţească Sabatele Mele.

25 A nd unto any dead man they come not for uncleanness, but for father, and for mother, and for son, and for daughter, for brother, for sister who hath not been to a man, they defile themselves.

Să nu se apropie de un mort, ca să nu se întineze. Se va putea întina doar dacă mortul i-a fost tată, mamă, fiu, fiică, frate sau soră care nu era măritată.

26 ` And after his cleansing, seven days they number to him.

După ce se va curăţi, să numere şapte zile.

27 A nd in the day of his coming in unto the sanctuary, unto the inner court, to minister in the sanctuary, he bringeth near his sin-offering -- an affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.

În ziua când va intra în Lăcaş, în curtea interioară, ca să slujească în Lăcaş, să aducă o jertfă pentru păcat, zice Stăpânul Domn.

28 A nd it hath been to them for an inheritance; I their inheritance: and a possession ye do not give to them in Israel; I their possession.

Iată moştenirea pe care o vor avea: Eu voi fi moştenirea lor! Să nu le daţi altă moştenire în Israel, pentru că Eu sunt moştenirea lor!

29 T he present, and the sin-offering, and the guilt-offering, they do eat, and every devoted thing in Israel is theirs.

Să se hrănească cu jertfele de mâncare, cu jertfele pentru păcat şi cu jertfele pentru vină; toate lucrurile închinate Mie în Israel să fie ale lor.

30 A nd the first of all the first-fruits of all, and every heave-offering of all, of all your heave-offerings, are the priests': and the first of your dough ye give to the priest, to cause a blessing to rest on thy house.

Cele mai bune din primele roade de orice fel şi fiecare dar din toate contribuţiile voastre de orice fel să fie ale preoţilor. Să daţi preoţilor şi ce este mai bun din făina voastră, pentru ca binecuvântarea să rămână peste casa voastră.

31 A ny carcase and torn thing, of the fowl, and of the beasts, the priests do not eat.

Preoţii nu vor avea voie să mănânce nici o pasăre sau animal care au murit de la sine sau au fost sfâşiate de fiare.
