Nişte străini se ridică împotriva mea şi nişte asupritori caută să-mi ia viaţa; ei nu ţin seama de Dumnezeu! Sela

4 L o, God a helper to me, The Lord with those supporting my soul,

Iată că Dumnezeu îmi vine în ajutor; Stăpânul vine în sprijinul sufletului meu!

5 T urn back doth the evil thing to mine enemies, In Thy truth cut them off.

Fie ca El să răsplătească răul urmăritorilor mei; în credincioşia Ta, nimiceşte-i!

6 W ith a free will-offering I sacrifice to Thee, I thank Thy name, O Jehovah, for good,

Îţi voi aduce jertfe de bunăvoie, voi lăuda Numele Tău, Doamne, căci este bun,

7 F or, from all adversity He delivered me, And on mine enemies hath mine eye looked!

căci m-ai scăpat din toate necazurile şi am putut privi de sus la duşmanii mei.
