1 J ehovah hath reigned, The earth is joyful, many isles rejoice.

Domnul împărăţeşte! Să se înveselească pământul şi să se bucure ostroavele cele multe!

2 C loud and darkness round about Him, Righteousness and judgment the basis of His throne.

Norii şi negura Îl înconjoară, dreptatea şi judecata sunt temelia tronului Său.

3 F ire before Him goeth, And burneth round about His adversaries.

Înaintea Lui merge focul, arzându-I duşmanii din preajmă.

4 L ightened have His lightnings the world, The earth hath seen, and is pained.

Fulgerele Lui luminează lumea; pământul vede şi se cutremură.

5 H ills, like wax, melted before Jehovah, Before the Lord of all the earth.

Munţii se topesc ca ceara înaintea Domnului, înaintea Stăpânului întregului pământ.

6 T he heavens declared His righteousness, And all the peoples have seen His honour.

Cerurile vestesc dreptatea Lui şi toate popoarele văd slava Lui.

7 A shamed are all servants of a graven image, Those boasting themselves in idols, Bow yourselves to him, all ye gods.

Sunt făcuţi de ruşine toţi cei ce slujesc chipurilor şi cei ce se laudă cu idolii. Toţi zeii să se închine înaintea Lui!

8 Z ion hath heard and rejoiceth, And daughters of Judah are joyful, Because of Thy judgments, O Jehovah.

Sionul aude şi se bucură, se veselesc fiicele lui Iuda din pricina judecăţilor Tale, Doamne!

9 F or Thou, Jehovah, Most High over all the earth, Greatly Thou hast been exalted over all gods.

Tu, Doamne, eşti Cel Preaînalt peste întreg pământul; Tu eşti înălţat mai presus de toţi dumnezeii!

10 Y e who love Jehovah, hate evil, He is keeping the souls of His saints, From the hand of the wicked he delivereth them.

Cei ce iubiţi pe Domnul, urâţi răul! El păzeşte sufletele credincioşilor Săi şi îi scapă din mâna celor răi.

11 L ight sown for the righteous, And for the upright of heart -- joy.

Lumina este semănată pentru cel drept şi bucuria pentru cel cu inima dreaptă.

12 R ejoice, ye righteous, in Jehovah, And give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness!

Bucuraţi-vă în Domnul, voi, cei drepţi! Lăudaţi -L, amintindu- vă de sfinţenia Lui!
