1 J ehovah hath reigned, The earth is joyful, many isles rejoice.

اللهُ يَحكُمُ! لِتَبتَهِجِ الأرْضُ وَلْتَفرَحْ كُلُّ الجُزُرِ الكَثِيرَةِ.

2 C loud and darkness round about Him, Righteousness and judgment the basis of His throne.

يَحُوطُهُ السَّحابُ وَالظُّلمَةُ الكَثِيفَةُ. وَالعَدلُ وَالإنصافُ يَسنِدانِ عَرشَهُ!

3 F ire before Him goeth, And burneth round about His adversaries.

النّارُ تَسِيرُ أمامَهُ. وَالأعداءُ حَولَهُ يَشتَعِلُونَ لَهَباً!

4 L ightened have His lightnings the world, The earth hath seen, and is pained.

تُضِيءُ العالَمَ بُرُوقُهُ. وَالأرْضُ تَراها فَتَرتَعِدُ خَوفاً.

5 H ills, like wax, melted before Jehovah, Before the Lord of all the earth.

كَالشَّمعِ ذابَتِ الجِبالُ أمامَ يهوه، رَبِّ كُلِّ الأرْضِ!

6 T he heavens declared His righteousness, And all the peoples have seen His honour.

بِصَلاحِهِ تُخبِرُ السَّماواتُ، وَكُلُّ النّاسِ يَرَوْنَ مَجدَهُ.

7 A shamed are all servants of a graven image, Those boasting themselves in idols, Bow yourselves to him, all ye gods.

كُلُّ مَنْ يَعْبُدُ تَماثِيلَ تافِهَةً وَيَفتَخِرُ بِها سَيُذَلُّ وَيَنحَنِي ذاتَ يَومٍ خُضُوعاً لِلخالِقِ!

8 Z ion hath heard and rejoiceth, And daughters of Judah are joyful, Because of Thy judgments, O Jehovah.

سَمِعَتْ صِهْيَوْنُ فَسَعِدَتْ، وَمُدُنُ يَهُوذا ابتَهَجَتْ، بِسَبِبِ أحكامِكَ يا اللهُ،

9 F or Thou, Jehovah, Most High over all the earth, Greatly Thou hast been exalted over all gods.

لأنَّكَ أنتَ اللهُ العَلِيُّ عَلَى كُلِّ الأرْضِ! مُتَفَوِّقٌ أنتَ كَثِيراً عَلَى كُلِّ الآلِهَةِ!

10 Y e who love Jehovah, hate evil, He is keeping the souls of His saints, From the hand of the wicked he delivereth them.

يا مُحِبِّي اللهِ ، أبْغِضُوا الشَّرَّ! هُوَ يَحرُسُ نُفُوسَ أتقِيائِهِ، وَمِنَ الأشرارِ يُخَلِّصُهُمْ!

11 L ight sown for the righteous, And for the upright of heart -- joy.

نُورٌ يُشرِقُ عَلَى الأبرارِ، وَفَرَحٌ عَلَى مُستَقِيمِي القُلُوبِ.

12 R ejoice, ye righteous, in Jehovah, And give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness!

افرَحُوا فِي اللهِ أيُّها الصّالِحُونَ، وَأكرِمُوا اسْمَهُ القُدُّوسَ!
