1 I n the twenty and fifth year of our removal, in the beginning of the year, in the tenth of the month, in the fourteenth year after that the city was smitten, in this self-same day hath a hand of Jehovah been upon me, and He bringeth me in thither;

فِي اليَومِ العاشِرِ مِنَ الشَّهرِ الأوَّلِ مِنَ السَّنَةِ الخامِسَةِ وَالعِشرِينَ مِنَ السَّبِيِ، وَهِيَ السَّنَةُ الرّابِعَةَ عَشْرَةَ لَهَزِيمَةِ مَدينَةِ القُدْسِ وَخَرابِها، أتَتْ عَلَيَّ يَدُ اللهِ ، فَحَمَلَنِي إلَى مَدينَةِ القُدْسِ.

2 i n visions of God He hath brought me in unto the land of Israel, and causeth me to rest on a very high mountain, and upon it as the frame of a city on the south.

حَمَلَنِي بِالرُّؤَى الإلَهِيَّةِ إلَى أرْضِ إسْرائِيلَ، وَوَضَعَنِي عَلَى جَبَلٍ عالٍ جِدّاً كانَتْ عَلَى ناحِيَتِهِ الجَنُوبِيَّةِ أبنِيَةٌ بَدَتْ كَأنَّها مَدِينَةٌ.

3 A nd He bringeth me in thither, and lo, a man, his appearance as the appearance of brass, and a thread of flax in his hand, and a measuring-reed, and he is standing at the gate,

أخَذَنِي نَحوَ ذَلِكَ المَكانِ، فَرَأيتُ رَجُلاً مَنظَرُهُ كَالبُرونْزِ اللّامِعِ، وَفِي يَدِهِ خَيطُ قِياسٍ وَعَصا قِياسٍ، يَقِفُ عِندَ البَوّابَةِ.

4 a nd the man speaketh unto me: `Son of man, see with thine eyes, And with thine ears hear, And set thy heart to all that I am shewing thee, For, in order to shew thee, Thou hast been brought in hither, Declare all that thou art seeing to the house of Israel.'

فَقالَ الرَّجُلُ: «يا إنْسانُ، انظُرْ بِعَينَيكَ وَاستَمِعْ بِأُذُنَيكَ وَانتَبِه بِذِهنِكَ إلَى كُلِّ ما سَأُرِيهِ لَكَ. فَقَدْ أُرسِلْتُ إلَى هُنا، لِأُرِيكَ هَذِهِ الأُمُورَ، وَلِكَي تُخبِرَ بَني إسْرائِيلَ بِكُلِّ ما تَراهُ.» السّاحَةُ الخارِجِيَّة

5 A nd lo, a wall on the outside of the house all round about, and in the hand of the man a measuring-reed, six cubits by a cubit and a handbreadth, and he measureth the breadth of the building one reed, and the height one reed.

رأيتُ سُوراً يُحِيطُ بِالهَيكَلِ بِالكامِلِ. وَقَدْ كانَ فِي يَدِ الرَّجُلِ عَصا قِياسٍ طُولُها سِتُّ أذرُعٍ طَوِيلَةٍ – كُلُّ ذِراعٍ طَويلَةٍ تُعادِلُ ذِراعاً قَصِيرَةً وَشِبراً واحِداً – فَقاسَ سُمْكَ الدِّهلِيزِ، فَكانَ سُمْكُهُ عَصا قِياسٍ واحِدَةً وَارتِفاعُهُ عَصا قِياسٍ واحِدَةً.

6 A nd he cometh in unto the gate whose front eastward, and he goeth up by its steps, and he measureth the threshold of the gate one reed broad, even the one threshold one reed broad,

وَحِينَ أتَى إلَى البَوّابَةِ الَّتِي نَحوَ الشَّرقِ، صَعِدَ دَرَجاتِها. وَقاسَ عَرضَ عَتَبَةِ البَوّابَةِ، فَكانَ عَصا قِياسٍ واحِدَةً. وَكانَ عَرضُ العَتَبَةِ الثّانِيَةِ عَصا قِياسٍ واحِدَةً أيضاً.

7 a nd the little chamber one reed long and one reed broad, and between the little chambers five cubits, and the threshold of the gate, from the side of the porch of the gate from within, one reed.

وَقاسَ أبعادَ الحُجُراتِ الجانِبِيَّةَ، فَكانَ طُولُها عَصا قِياسٍ واحِدَةً، وَعرْضُها عَصا قِياسٍ واحِدَةً. وَيَجمَعُ الحُجُراتِ جِدارٌ سُمكُهُ خَمسُ أذرُعٍ. وَعَرْضُ عَتَبَةُ البَوّابَةِ الدّاخِلِيَّةِ الواقِعَةِ عِندَ دِهلِيزِ البَوّابَةِ فَكانَ عَرضُها عَصا قِياسٍ واحِدَةٍ.

8 A nd he measureth the porch of the gate from within one reed,

وَقاسَ مَدخَلَ البَوّابَةِ الدّاخِلِيَّةِ،

9 a nd he measureth the porch of the gate eight cubits, and its posts two cubits, and the porch of the gates from within,

فَكانَ عَرضُهُ ثَمانِي أذرُعٍ، وَكانَتْ جُدرانُهُ الجّانِبِيَّةُ ذِراعَين. هَذا هُوَ دِهلِيزُ البَوّابَةِ الدّاخِلِيَّةِ.

10 a nd the little chambers of the gate eastward, three on this side, and three on that side; one measure to them three, and one measure to the posts, on this side and on that side.

أمّا الحُجُراتُ الَّتِي فِي مَمَرِّ البَوّابَةِ الشَّرقِيَّةِ، فَهِيَ ثَلاثُ حُجُراتٍ عَلَى كُلِّ جانِبٍ مِنَ جانِبَيِّ المَمَرِّ. وَكانَتْ لِجَميعِ الحُجُراتِ المَقايِيسُ نَفسُها، وَلِجُدرانِها الجّانِبِيَّةِ المَقايِيسُ نَفسُها فِي كُلِّ اتِّجاهٍ.

11 A nd he measureth the breadth of the opening of the gate ten cubits, the length of the gate thirteen cubits;

وَقاسَ مَدخَلَ البَوّابَةِ، فَكانَ عَرْضُهُ عَشرَ أذرُعٍ، وَطُولُهُ ثَلاثَ عَشْرَةَ ذِراعاً.

12 a nd a border before the little chambers, one cubit, and one cubit the border on this side, and the little chamber six cubits on this side, and six cubits on that side.

وَكانَ ارتِفاعُ الجِدارِ المُنخَفِضِ الَّذِي أمامَ الحُجُراتِ ذِراعاً واحِدَةً وَسُمْكُهُ ذِراعاً وَاحِدَةً. وَأمّا الحُجُراتُ فَكانَتْ مَرَبَّعَةً: سِتَّ أذرُعٍ طُولاً وَعَرضاً.

13 A nd he measureth the gate from the roof of the little chamber to the roof of another; the breadth twenty and five cubits, opening over-against opening.

وَقاسَ مَمَرَّ البَوّابَةِ مِنْ طَرَفِ سَقفِ حُجرَةٍ إلَى طَرَفِ سَقفِ الحُجرَةِ المُقابِلَةِ، فَكانَ عَرضُ المَمَرِّ خَمساً وَعِشرِينَ ذِراعاً. وَالحُجُراتُ وَأبوابُها مُتَقابِلةً.

14 A nd he maketh the posts of sixty cubits, even unto the post of the court, the gate all round about;

ثُمَّ قاسَ المَسافَةَ بَينَ عارِضَةِ البَوّابَةِ الخارِجِيَّةِ وَعارِضَةِ السّاحَةِ المُحِيطَةِ بِالبَوّابَةِ، فَكانَتْ سِتِّينَ ذِراعاً.

15 a nd by the front of the gate of the entrance, by the front of the porch of the inner gate, fifty cubits;

أمّا المَسافَةُ مِنْ وَاجِهَةِ البَوّابَةِ الخارِجِيَّةِ إلَى وَاجِهَةِ دِهلِيزِ البَوّابَةِ الدّاخِلِيَّةِ خَمسِينَ ذِراعاً.

16 a nd narrow windows unto the little chambers, and unto their posts at the inside of the gate all round about -- and so to the arches -- and windows all round about at the inside, and at the post palm-trees.

وَلِلحُجُراتِ وَالجُدرانِ الجانِبِيَّةِ نَوافِذُ واسِعَةٌ مِنَ الدّاخِلِ وَضَيِّقَةٌ مِنَ الخارِجِ، مِنْ داخِلِ مَمَرِّ البَوّابَةِ. وَهَكَذا الأمرُ بِالنِّسبَةِ لِلدِّهلِيزِ، إذْ كانَ لَها نَوافِذُ مِنَ الدّاخِلِ، واسِعَةٌ مِنَ الدّاخِلِ وَضَيِّقَةٌ مِنَ الخارِجِ. وَكانَتِ العَضائِدُ مُزَيَّنَةً بِنَقشِ أشجارِ نَخِيلٍ نافِرٍ.

17 A nd he bringeth me in unto the outer court, and lo, chambers and a pavement made for the court all round about -- thirty chambers on the pavement --

ثُمَّ أخَذَنِي إلَى السّاحَةِ الخارِجِيَّةِ، فَرَأيتُ ثَلاثِينَ حُجرَةً وَرَصِيفاً حَولَ كُلِّ السّاحَةِ الخارِجِيَّةِ، وَكانَتْ أبوابُ الحُجُراتِ فِي السّاحَةِ.

18 a nd the pavement unto the side of the gates over-against the length of the gates the lower pavement;

وَكانَ عَرضُ الرِّصِيفِ الأسفَلِ بِطُولِ البَوّابَةِ، وَكانَ يُغَطِّي المَنطِقَةَ ما بَينَ الحُجُراتِ عَلَى طُولِ السُّورِ وَالطَرَفِ الدّاخِلِيِّ لِلبَوّابَةِ.

19 a nd he measureth the breadth from before the lower gate, to the front of the inner court, on the outside, a hundred cubits, eastward and northward.

ثُمَّ قاسَ عَرضَ السّاحَةِ الدّاخِلِيَّةِ مِنْ طَرَفِ الرَّصِيفِ السُّفلِيِّ وَحَتَّى الطَرَفِ الخارِجِيِّ لِلسّاحَةِ الدّاخِلِيَّةِ، فَكانَ مِئَةَ ذِراعٍ. وَكانَتِ الجِّهَةُ الشَّمالِيَّةُ مِثلَ الجِّهَةِ الشَّرقِيَّةِ.

20 A s to the gate of the outer court whose front northward, he hath measured its length and its breadth;

وَقاسَ الرَّجُلُ طُولَ البَوّابَةِ الشَّمالِيَّةِ لِلسّاحَةِ الخارِجِيَّةِ وَعَرضَها.

21 a nd its little chambers, three on this side, and three on that side, and its posts and its arches have been according to the measure of the first gate, fifty cubits its length, and the breadth five and twenty by the cubit;

وَكانَ لِتِلكَ السّاحَةِ أيضاً ثَلاثُ حُجُراتٍ عَلَى كُلِّ جانِبٍ مِنْ جانِبَيها. وَكانَتْ مَقايِيسُ قاعَتِها مِثلَ مَقايِيسِ قاعَةِ البَوّابَةِ الأُولَى. فَكانَ طُولُ مَمَرِّ البَوّابَةِ خَمسِينَ ذِراعاً، وَعَرضُهُ خَمساً وَعِشرِينَ ذِراعاً.

22 a nd its windows, and its arches, and its palm-trees according to the measure of the gate whose face eastward, and by seven steps they go up on it, and its arches before them.

وَكانَتْ مَقايِيسُ النَّوافِذِ وَالأروِقَةِ وَأشجارِ النَّخِيلِ مِثلَ مَقايِيسِ البَوّابَةِ الشَّرقِيَّةِ. وَكانَ النّاسُ يَصعَدُونَ سَبْعَ دَرَجاتٍ لِلوُصُولِ إلَى الدِّهلِيزِ الخارِجِيِّ.

23 A nd the gate of the inner court over-against the gate at the north and at the east; and he measureth from gate unto gate, a hundred cubits.

وَمُقابِلَ البَوّابَةِ الشَّمالِيَّةِ – كَما هُوَ الحالُ فِي الشَّرقِيَّةِ – هَناكَ بَوّابَةٌ تَقُودُ إلَى السّاحَةِ الدّاخِلِيَّةِ. فَقاسَ المَسافَةَ بَينَ البَوّابَتَينِ، فَكانَتْ مِئَةَ ذِراعٍ.

24 A nd he causeth me to go southward, and lo, a gate southward, and he hath measured its posts and its arches according to these measures;

ثُمَّ أخَذَنِي إلَى الجِّهَةِ الجَنُوبِيَّةِ مِنَ السّاحَةِ، فَكانَ هُناكَ بَوّابَةٌ ثالِثَةٌ. فَقاسَ الرَّجُلُ الجُدرانَ الجانِبِيَّةَ وَالأروِقَةَ، فَكانَتْ مِثلَ مَقايِيسِ البَوّاباتِ الأُخرَى.

25 a nd windows to it and to its arches all round about, like these windows, fifty cubits the length, and the breadth five and twenty cubits;

كَما كانَ هُناكَ نَوافِذُ واسِعَةٌ مِنَ الدّاخِلِ وَضَيِّقَةٌ مِنَ الخارِجِ حَولَ البَوّابَةِ وَأروِقَتِها، تَماماً مِثلُ البَوّاباتِ الأُخرَى. وَكانَ طُولُ مَمَرِّ البَوّابَةِ خَمسِينَ ذِراعاً وَعَرضُهُ خَمساً وَعِشرِينَ ذِراعاً.

26 a nd seven steps its ascent, and its arches before them, and palm-trees to it, one on this side, and one on that side, at its posts;

وَكانَتْ هُناكَ سَبعُ دَرَجاتٍ لِلصُّعُودِ إلَى الدِّهلِيزِ الخارِجِيِّ. وَكانَ هُناكَ نَقشٌ نافِرٌ لِأشجارِ نَخِيلِ عَلَى عَضائِدِ جِهَتَيِّ البَوّابَةِ.

27 a nd the gate of the inner court southward, and he measureth from gate unto gate southward, a hundred cubits.

وَكانَتْ هُناكَ بَوّابَةٌ جَنُوبَ السّاحَةِ الدّاخِلِيَّةِ. فَقاسَ المَسافَةَ بَينَها وَبَينَ البَوّابَةِ الدّاخِلِيَّةِ، فَكانَتْ مِئَةَ ذِراعٍ. السّاحَةُ الدّاخِلِيَّة

28 A nd he bringeth me in unto the inner court by the south gate, and he measureth the south gate according to these measures;

ثُمَّ أخَذَنِي عَبرَ السّاحَةِ الدّاخِلِيَّةِ عَبرَ البَوّابَةِ الجَنُوبِيَّةِ. وَقاسَ الرَّجُلُ البَوّابَةَ الجَنُوبِيَّةَ، فَكانَتْ مَقايِيسُها مِثلَ البَوّاباتِ الأُخرَى.

29 a nd its little chambers, and its posts, and its arches according to these measures, and windows to it and to its arches all round about; fifty cubits the length, and the breadth twenty and five cubits.

فَكانَتْ مَقايِيسُ حُجُراتِها وَجُدرانِها الجّانِبِيَّةِ وَدِهلِيزِها مِثلَ مَقايِيسِ البَوّاباتِ الأُخرَى. وَكانَ فِيها نَوافِذُ حَولَها مِثلُ البَوّاباتِ الأُخرَى. وَكانَ طُولُها خَمسِينَ ذِراعاً، وَعَرضُها خَمساً وَعِشرِينَ ذِراعاً.

30 A s to the arches all round about, the length five and twenty cubits, and the breadth five cubits;

وَكانَتْ هُناكَ قاعَةٌ عَلَى جانِبَيِّ البَوّابَةِ طُولُها خَمساً وَعِشرِينَ ذِراعاً، وَعَرضُها خَمسَ أذرُعٍ.

31 a nd its arches unto the outer court, and palm-trees unto its posts, and eight steps its ascent.

وَهِيَ القاعَةُ الَّتِي مِنْ جِهَةِ السّاحَةِ الخارِجِيَّةِ. وَهُناكَ نَقشٌ نافِرٌ لِأشجارِ نَخِيلٍ عَلَى عَوارِضِ البَوّابَةِ المُؤدِّيَةِ إلَى القاعَةِ، وَلِلبَوّابَةِ ثَمانِي دَرَجاتٍ.

32 A nd he bringeth me in unto the inner court eastward, and he measureth the gate according to these measures;

ثُمَّ أخَذَنِي إلَى البَوّابَةِ الشَّرقِيَّةِ الَّتِي تَقُودُ إلَى السّاحَةِ الدّاخِلِيَّةِ، فَكانَتْ مَقايِيسُ تِلكَ البَوّابَةِ كَمَقايِيسِ البَوّاباتِ الأُخرَى.

33 a nd its little chambers, and its posts, and its arches according to these measures: and windows to it and to its arches all round about, the length fifty cubits, and the breadth five and twenty cubits;

وَكانَتْ مَقايِيسُ حُجُراتِها وَجُدرانِها القَصِيرَةِ وَمَمَرّاتِها مِثلَ البَقِيَّةِ. كَما لَها نَوافِذُ واسِعَةٌ مِنَ الدّاخِلِ وَضَيِّقَةٌ مِنَ الخارِجِ وَمَمَرّاتٌ. طُولُ مَمَرِّ البَوّاباتِ خَمسِينَ ذِراعاً وَعَرضُهُ خَمساً وَعِشرِينَ ذِراعاً.

34 a nd its arches toward the outer court, and palm-trees toward its posts, on this side and on that side, and eight steps its ascent.

وَقاعَتُها الخارِجِيَّةُ عِندَ الطَّرَفِ الدّاخِلِيِّ لِلسّاحَةِ الخارِجِيَّةِ. وَكانَ عَلَى عارِضَتِي البَوّابةِ مِنَ الجانِبَينِ نَقشٌ نافِرٌ لِأشجارِ نَخِيلٍ. وَلِكُلِّ بَوّابَةٍ ثَمانِي دَرَجاتٍ تَقُودُ إلَى القاعَةِ.

35 A nd he bringeth me in unto the north gate, and hath measured according to these measures;

ثُمَّ أخَذَنِي إلَى البَوّابَةِ الشَّمالِيَّةِ، فَكانَتْ مَقايِيسُها مِثلَ البَوّاباتِ الأُخرَى.

36 i ts little chambers, its posts, and its arches; and windows to it all round about: the length fifty cubits, and the breadth five and twenty cubits;

وَكانَتْ لَها حُجُراتٌ وَأروِقَةٌ وَنَوافِذُ واسِعَةٌ مِنَ الدّاخِلِ وَضَيِّقَةٌ مِنَ الخارِجِ، مِثلُ البَوّاباتِ الأُخرَى. وَكانَ طُولُها خَمسِينَ ذِراعاً وَعَرضُها خَمساً وَعِشرِينَ ذِراعاً.

37 a nd its posts to the outer court, and palm-trees unto its posts, on this side and on that side, and eight steps its ascent.

وَكانَ عَلَى عَضائِدِ البَوّاباتِ المُواجِهَةِ لِلسّاحَةِ الخارِجِيَّةِ نَقشٌ نافِرٌ لِأشجارِ نَخِيلٍ. وَكانَ يُصعَدُ إلَيها بِثَمانِي دَرَجاتٍ. حُجُراتُ إعدادِ الذَّبائِح

38 A nd the chamber and its opening by the posts of the gates, there they purge the burnt-offering.

وَكانَ فِي أروِقَةِ البَوّاباتِ مَمَرٌّ يَقُودُ إلَى الحُجُراتِ الَّتِي كانَ الكَهَنَةُ يَغسِلونَ فِيها الذَّبائِحَ.

39 A nd in the porch of the gate two tables on this side, and two tables on that side, to slaughter on them the burnt-offering, and the sin-offering, and the guilt-offering;

وَكانَ فِي دِهلِيزِ البَوّابَةِ طاوِلَتانِ عَلَى كُلِّ جِهَةٍ مِنَ المَدخَلِ لِلذَّبائِحِ الصّاعِدَةِ وَذَبائِحَ الخَطيَّةِ وَذَبائِحِ الذَّنبِ.

40 a nd at the side without, at the going up to the opening of the north gate, two tables; and at the other side that at the porch of the gate, two tables;

وَفِي الجِّهَةِ الخارِجِيَّةِ، وَفِي نِهايَةِ الدَّرَجِ المُؤَدِّي إلَى البَوّابَةِ الشَّمالِيَّةِ كانَتْ هُناكَ طاوِلَتانِ عَلَى كُلِّ جانِبٍ مِنْ دِهلِيزِ البَّوّابَةِ.

41 f our tables on this side, and four tables on that side, at the side of the gate, eight tables on which they slaughter.

أي أربَعُ طاوِلاتٍ فِي الخارِجِ وَأربَعٌ فِي الدّاخِلِ بِجانِبِ مَدخَلِ الدِّهلِيزِ. وَكانَتِ الذَّبائِحُ تُذبَحُ عَلَى تِلكَ الطّاوِلاتِ.

42 A nd the four tables for burnt-offering of hewn stone: the length one cubit and a half, and the breadth one cubit and a half, and the height one cubit: on them they place the instruments with which they slaughter the burnt-offering and the sacrifice.

وَكانَتْ هُناكَ أربَعُ طاوِلاتٍ للذَّبائِحِ الصّاعِدَةِ مَصنُوعَةً مِنْ حَجَرٍ مَنحُوتٍ، طُولُها ذِراعٌ وَنِصفُ الذِّراعِ، وَعَرضُها ذِراعٌ وَنِصفُ الذِّراعِ، وَارتِفاعُها ذِراعٌ واحِدَةٌ. وَكانُوا يَضَعُونَ عَلَى هَذِهِ الطّاوِلاتِ الأدَواتِ المُستَخدَمَةَ فِي ذَبحِ الذَّبائِحِ المُختَلِفَةِ.

43 A nd the boundaries one handbreadth, prepared within all round about: and on the tables the flesh of the offering.

وَكانَتْ هُناكَ خَطاطِيفٌ طُولُها شِبرٌ حَولَ مُحِيطِ الدِّهلِيزِ، وَلَكِنَّ المَوائِدَ كانَتِ لِلحمِ التَّقدِماتِ وَالقَرابِينِ. حُجُراتُ الكَهَنَة

44 A nd on the outside of the inner gate chambers of the singers, in the inner court, that at the side of the north gate, and their fronts southward, one at the side of the east gate the front northward.

وَكانَتْ هُناكَ حُجرَتانِ لِلقادَةِ عِنْدَ بَوّابَةِ السّاحَةِ الدّاخِلِيَّةِ. كانَتْ إحدَى هاتَينِ الحُجرَتَينِ مُتَصلِةً بِالبَوّابَةِ الشَّمالِيَّةِ، وَكانَتْ تُواجِهُ الجَنُوبَ، بَينَما كانَتِ الحُجرَةُ الثّانِيَةُ مُتَّصِلَةٌ بِالبَوّابَةِ الجَنُوبِيَّةِ، وَكانَتْ تُواجِهُ الشَّمالَ.

45 A nd he speaketh unto me: `This chamber, whose front southward, for priests keeping charge of the house;

فَقالَ لِيَ الرَّجُلُ: «الحُجرَةُ الَّتِي باتِّجاهِ الجَنُوبِ هِي لِلكَهَنَةِ الَّذِينَ يَكُونُ عَلَيهِمْ حِراسَةُ وَخِدمَةُ الهَيكَلِ.

46 a nd the chamber, whose front northward, for priests keeping charge of the altar: they sons of Zadok, who are drawing near of the sons of Levi unto Jehovah, to serve Him.'

أمّا الحُجرَةُ الَّتِي باتِّجاهِ الشَّمالِ، فَهِيَ لِلكَهَنَةِ الَّذِينَ يَكُونُ عَلَيهِمْ حِراسَةُ وَخِدمَةُ المَذبَحِ. هَؤُلاءِ الكَهَنةُ مِنْ نَسلِ صادُوقَ، وَهُمُ الوَحِيدُونَ مِنْ قَبِيلَةِ لاوِي الَّذِينَ يُسمَحُ لَهُمُ الِاقتِرابُ إلَى اللهِ لِخِدمَتِهِ.»

47 A nd he measureth the court: the length a hundred cubits, and the breadth a hundred cubits, square, and the altar before the house.

ثُمَّ قاسَ السّاحَةَ الدّاخِلِيَّةَ، فَكانَتْ مُرَبَّعَةً، طُولُها مِئَةُ ذِراعٍ وَعَرضُها مِئَةُ ذِراعٍ. وَكانَ المَذبَحُ أمامَ الهَيكَلِ مُباشَرَةً. قاعَةُ الهَيكَل

48 A nd he bringeth me in unto the porch of the house, and he measureth the post of the porch, five cubits on this side, and five cubits on that side, and the breadth of the gate, three cubits on this side, and three cubits on that side;

ثُمَّ أخَذَنِي إلَى دِهلِيزِ الهَيكَلِ. فَقاسَ الجُدرانَ الجانِبِيَّةَ لِلدِهلِيزِ، فَكانَ عرْضُها خَمسَ أذرُعٍ مِنْ كُلِّ جِهَةٍ. وَكانَ عَرضُ البَوّابَةِ ثَلاثَ أذرُعٍ مِنْ كِلَتا الجِّهَتَينِ.

49 t he length of the porch twenty cubits, and the breadth eleven cubits; and by the steps whereby they go up unto it: and pillars at the posts, one on this side, and one on that side.

وَكانَ طُولُ الدِّهلِيزِ عِشرِينَ ذِراعاً وَعَرضُهُ اثنَتي عَشَرَ ذِراعاً. وَكانَ النّاسُ يَصعَدُونَ عَشَرَ دَرَجاتٍ إلَى الدِّهلِيزِ. وَعَلَى جانِبَيِّ البَوّاباتِ، كانَ هُناكَ عَمُودانِ، واحِدٌ مِنْ كُلِّ جِهَةٍ.
