1 P aul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, to the assembly of Thessalonians in God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ:

مِنْ بُولُسَ وَسِلْوانُسَ وَتِيمُوثاوُسَ، إلَى كَنِيسَةِ تَسالُونِيكِي الَّتِي تَنتَمِي إلَى اللهِ أبِينا وَالرَّبِّ يَسُوعَ المَسِيحِ.

2 G race to you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ!

لِتَكُنْ لَكُمُ النِّعمَةُ وَالسَّلامُ مِنَ اللهِ أبِينا، وَمِنَ الرَّبِّ يَسُوعَ المَسِيحِ.

3 W e ought to give thanks to God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because increase greatly doth your faith, and abound doth the love of each one of you all, to one another;

يَنبَغِي عَلَينا دائِماً أنْ نَشكُرَ اللهَ مِنْ أجلِكُمْ، أيُّها الإخوَةُ. لِأنَّ إيمانَكُمْ يَنمُو نُمُوّاً عَظِيماً، وَمَحَبَّةُ كُلُّ واحِدٍ مِنكُمْ لِلآخَرِيْنَ تَتَزايَدُ.

4 s o that we ourselves do glory in you in the assemblies of God, for your endurance and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye bear;

وَنَحْنُ نَفتَخِرُ بِكُمْ بَينَ كَنائِسِ اللهِ بِسَبَبِ صَبرِكُمْ وَإيمانِكُمْ فِي وَسَطِ كُلِّ الإساءاتِ وَالضِّيقاتِ الَّتِي تَحتَمِلُونَها. دَينُونَةُ الله

5 a token of the righteous judgment of God, for your being counted worthy of the reign of God, for which also ye suffer,

وَهَذا دَلِيلٌ عَلَى أنَّ اللهَ عادِلٌ فِي حُكمِهِ، إذْ أنَّهُ يُريدُ لَكُمْ أنْ تُحسَبُوا مُستَحِقِّينَ دُخُولَ مَلَكُوتِ اللهِ الَّذِي تَتَألَّمُونَ مِنْ أجلِهِ.

6 s ince a righteous thing with God to give back to those troubling you -- trouble,

وَاللهُ يَرَى أنَّهُ مِنَ العَدلِ أنْ يُجازِيَ الَّذِينَ يُضايِقُونَكُمْ بِالضِّيقِ،

7 a nd to you who are troubled -- rest with us in the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven, with messengers of his power,

وَأنْ يُكافِئَكُمْ أنتُمُ الَّذِينَ تَتَعَرَّضُونَ لِلضِّيقِ بِالرّاحَةِ، كَما سَيُكافِئُنا نَحنُ أيضاً عِندَ ظُهُورِ الرَّبِّ يَسُوعَ مِنَ السَّماءِ. إذْ سَيَنزِلُ مِنَ السَّماءِ مَعَ مَلائِكَتِهِ الجَبّارِينَ،

8 i n flaming fire, giving vengeance to those not knowing God, and to those not obeying the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ;

وَسَطَ نارٍ مُلتَهِبَةٍ، وَسَيُجازي كُلَّ الَّذِينَ لا يَعرِفُونَ اللهَ، وَالَّذِينَ يَرفُضُونَ أنْ يُطِيعُوا البِشارَةَ المُتَعَلِّقَةَ بِالرَّبِّ يَسُوعَ.

9 w ho shall suffer justice -- destruction age-during -- from the face of the Lord, and from the glory of his strength,

فَسَيَكُونُ جَزاؤُهُمْ دَماراً أبَدِيّاً. وَسَيُبعَدُونَ مِنْ وَجهِ الرَّبِّ يَسُوعَ وَمِنْ قُوَّتِهِ المَجِيدَةِ

10 w hen He may come to be glorified in his saints, and to be wondered at in all those believing -- because our testimony was believed among you -- in that day;

يَومَ يَأْتِي لِيَتَمَجَّدَ بَيْنَ شَعبِهِ المُقَدَّسِ، وَسَيُبهَرُ كُلُّ المُؤمِنِينَ بِمَنْ فِيهِمْ أنتُمْ، لِأنَّكُمْ آمَنتُمْ بِشَهادَتِنا عَنهُ.

11 f or which also we do pray always for you, that our God may count you worthy of the calling, and may fulfil all the good pleasure of goodness, and the work of the faith in power,

مِنْ أجلِ هَذا نُصَلِّي لأجلِكُمْ دائِماً، طالِبِينَ مِنْ إلَهِنا أنْ يَجعَلَكُمْ مُستَحِقِّينَ لِلحَياةِ الَّتِي دَعاكُمْ إلَيها، وَأنَّ يُحَقِّقَ بِقُدرَتِهِ كُلَّ نَواياكُمِ الصّالِحَةِ وَكُلِّ عَمَلٍ نابِعٍ مِنْ إيمانِكُمْ.

12 t hat the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and Lord Jesus Christ.

وَبِهَذا يَتَمَجَّدُ اسمُ رَبِّنا يَسُوعَ فِيكُمْ، وَتَتَمَجَّدُونَ أنتُمْ فِيهِ، حَسَبَ نِعمَةِ إلَهِنا وَرَبِّنا، يَسُوعَ المَسِيحِ.
