1 A wake, awake, put on thy strength, O Zion, Put on the garments of thy beauty, Jerusalem -- the Holy City; For enter no more into thee again, Do the uncircumcised and unclean.

استَيقِظِي، استَيقِظِي، البِسِي قُوَّتَكِ يا صِهْيَوْنُ. البِسِي ثِيابَكِ الجَمِيلَةَ، يا قُدسُ، أيَّتُها المَدِينَةُ المُقَدَّسَةُ. لأنَّهُ لَنْ يَدْخُلَكِ فِيما بَعدُ لامَختُونِينَ نَجِسِينَ.

2 S hake thyself from dust, arise, sit, O Jerusalem, Bands of thy neck have loosed themselves, O captive, daughter of Zion.

انفُضِي الغُبارَ، قُومِي يا قُدسُ المَسبِيَّةُ، حُلِّي السَّلاسِلَ الَّتِي عَلَى عُنقِكِ، أيَّتُها العَزِيزَةُ صِهْيَوْنُ المَسبِيَّةُ.

3 F or thus said Jehovah: `For nought ye have been sold, And not by money are ye redeemed.'

هَذا هُوَ ما يَقُولُهُ اللهُ: لَقَدْ تَمَّ بَيعُكُمْ بِلا مُقابِلٍ، وَسَتُفَكُّونَ بِلا مالٍ.

4 F or thus said the Lord Jehovah: `To Egypt My people went down at first to sojourn there, And Asshur -- for nought he hath oppressed it.

هَذا هُوَ ما يَقُولُهُ الرَّبُّ الإلَهُ: «نَزَلَ شَعبِي أوَّلاً إلَى مِصرَ. عاشُوا هُناكَ كَغُرَباءَ، ثُمَّ ظَلَمَهُمْ أشُّورُ بِلا مُبَرِّرٍ.

5 A nd now, what -- to Me here, An affirmation of Jehovah, That taken is My people for nought? Its rulers cause howling, -- an affirmation of Jehovah, And continually all the day My name is despised.

وَالآنَ ماذا أملِكُ هُنا؟ شَعبِي أُسِرَ بِلا سَبَبٍ، وَالَّذِينَ يَحكُمُونَهُمْ يَتَفاخَرُونَ.» يَقُولُ اللهُ: «اسْمِيَ يُهانُ كُلَّ اليَومِ.

6 T herefore doth My people know My name, Therefore, in that day, Surely I He who is speaking, behold Me.'

لِذَلِكَ سَيَعرِفُ شَعبِيَ اسْمِي. وَسَيَعرِفُونَ فِي ذَلِكَ الوَقتِ أنِّي أنا قَدْ تَكَلَّمْتُ.»

7 H ow comely on the mountains, Have been the feet of one proclaiming tidings, Sounding peace, proclaiming good tidings, Sounding salvation, Saying to Zion, `Reigned hath thy God.'

ما أجمَلَ مَجِيءَ المُبَشِّرِ عَلَى الجِبالِ، الَّذِي يُعلِنُ السَّلامَ وَيَحمِلُ البُشرَى، الَّذِي يَقُولُ لِصِهْيَوْنَ: «مَلَكَ إلَهُكِ!»

8 T he voice of thy watchmen! They have lifted up the voice, together they cry aloud, Because eye to eye they see, in Jehovah's turning back Zion.

حُرّاسُكِ يَرفَعُونَ أصواتَهُمْ، يَهتِفُونَ مَعاً بِفَرَحٍ. لأنَّهُمْ سَيَرَونَ اللهَ بِعُيُونِهِمِ وَهُوَ يَرجِعُ إلَى صِهْيَوْنَ.

9 B reak forth, sing together, O wastes of Jerusalem, For Jehovah hath comforted His people, He hath redeemed Jerusalem.

اهتِفِي بِأُغنِياتِ الفَرَحِ مَعاَ، يا خَرائِبَ القُدْسِ. لأنَّ اللهَ عَزَّى شَعبَهُ، وَخَلَّصَ القُدْسَ.

10 J ehovah hath made bare His holy arm Before the eyes of all the nations, And seen have all the ends of the earth, The salvation of our God.

كَشَفَ اللهُ عَنْ يَدِهِ المُقَدَّسَةِ أمامَ كُلِّ الأُمَمِ. وَسَيَرَى كُلُّ واحِدٍ عَلَى الأرْضِ خَلاصَ إلَهِنا.

11 T urn aside, turn aside, go out thence, The unclean touch not, go out from her midst, Be ye pure, who are bearing the weapons of Jehovah.

ارحَلُوا، ارحَلُوا، اخرُجُوا مِنْ ذَلِكَ المَكانِ. لا تَمَسُّوا أيَّ شَيءٍ نَجِسٍ. اخرُجُوا مِنْ وَسَطِها، نَقُّوا أنفُسَكُمْ يا حامِلِي آنِيَةَ اللهِ.

12 F or not in haste do ye go out, Yea, with flight ye go not on, For going before you Jehovah, And gathering you the God of Israel!

لأنَّكُمْ لَنْ تَخرُجُوا مُسرِعِينَ، وَلَنْ تَذهَبُوا كَهارِبِينَ. لأنَّ اللهَ سَيَسِيرُ أمامَكُمْ، وَإلَهَ إسْرائِيلَ سَيَحمِي ظُهُورَكُمْ. عَبدُ يهوه المُتَألِّم

13 L o, My servant doth act wisely, He is high, and hath been lifted up, And hath been very high.

ها إنَّ عَبدِي سَيَتَصَرَّفُ بِحِكمَةٍ. سَيَرتَفِعُ وَيُكَرَّمُ جِدّاً.

14 A s astonished at thee have been many, (So marred by man his appearance, And his form by sons of men.)

كُلُّ الَّذِينَ رَأَوْهُ اندَهَشُوا، فَقَدْ كانَ مَنظَرُهُ مُشَوَّهاً بِحَيثُ لا يُشبِهُ مَنظَرَ إنسانٍ إلّا قَلِيلاً. وَشَكلُهُ بِالكادِ يُشبِهُ ابْنَ آدَمَ.

15 S o doth he sprinkle many nations. Concerning him kings shut their mouth, For that which was not recounted to them they have seen, And that which they had not heard they have understood!

سَيُحَيِّرُ أُمَماً كَثِيرَةً، وَسَيُغلِقُ مُلُوكٌ أفواهَهُمْ بِسَبَبِهِ. لأنَّهُمْ لَنْ يَسْمَعُوا قِصَّةً، بَلْ سَيَرَوْنَ ما لَمْ يُخبَرُوا عَنهُ. وَسَيَفهَمُونَ ما لَمْ يَسْمَعُوا بِهِ.
