1 A wake, awake, put on thy strength, O Zion, Put on the garments of thy beauty, Jerusalem -- the Holy City; For enter no more into thee again, Do the uncircumcised and unclean.

Despierta, despierta, Vístete de tu poder, oh Sion. Vístete de tus ropajes hermosos, Oh Jerusalén, ciudad santa. Porque el incircunciso y el inmundo No volverán a entrar en ti.

2 S hake thyself from dust, arise, sit, O Jerusalem, Bands of thy neck have loosed themselves, O captive, daughter of Zion.

Sal del polvo, levántate, Cautiva Jerusalén. Líbrate de las cadenas de tu cuello, Cautiva hija de Sion.

3 F or thus said Jehovah: `For nought ye have been sold, And not by money are ye redeemed.'

Porque así dice el Señor: “De balde fueron ustedes vendidos y sin dinero serán redimidos.”

4 F or thus said the Lord Jehovah: `To Egypt My people went down at first to sojourn there, And Asshur -- for nought he hath oppressed it.

Porque así dice el Señor Dios: “Mi pueblo descendió a Egipto al principio para residir allí; después los Asirios los oprimieron sin motivo.

5 A nd now, what -- to Me here, An affirmation of Jehovah, That taken is My people for nought? Its rulers cause howling, -- an affirmation of Jehovah, And continually all the day My name is despised.

Y ahora, ¿qué hago Yo aquí,” declara el Señor “viendo que se llevan a Mi pueblo sin causa?” También declara el Señor: “Sus dominadores dan gritos, y sin cesar Mi nombre es blasfemado todo el día.

6 T herefore doth My people know My name, Therefore, in that day, Surely I He who is speaking, behold Me.'

Por tanto, Mi pueblo conocerá Mi nombre. Así que en aquel día comprenderán que Yo soy el que dice: ‘Aquí estoy.’”

7 H ow comely on the mountains, Have been the feet of one proclaiming tidings, Sounding peace, proclaiming good tidings, Sounding salvation, Saying to Zion, `Reigned hath thy God.'

¡Qué hermosos son sobre los montes Los pies del que trae buenas nuevas, Del que anuncia la paz, Del que trae las buenas nuevas de gozo, Del que anuncia la salvación, Y dice a Sion: “Tu Dios reina!”

8 T he voice of thy watchmen! They have lifted up the voice, together they cry aloud, Because eye to eye they see, in Jehovah's turning back Zion.

¡Una voz! Tus centinelas alzan la voz, A una gritan de júbilo Porque verán con sus propios ojos Cuando el Señor restaure a Sion.

9 B reak forth, sing together, O wastes of Jerusalem, For Jehovah hath comforted His people, He hath redeemed Jerusalem.

Prorrumpan a una en gritos de júbilo, Lugares desolados de Jerusalén, Porque el Señor ha consolado a Su pueblo, Ha redimido a Jerusalén.

10 J ehovah hath made bare His holy arm Before the eyes of all the nations, And seen have all the ends of the earth, The salvation of our God.

El Señor ha desnudado Su santo brazo A la vista de todas las naciones, Y todos los confines de la tierra verán La salvación de nuestro Dios.

11 T urn aside, turn aside, go out thence, The unclean touch not, go out from her midst, Be ye pure, who are bearing the weapons of Jehovah.

Apártense, apártense, salgan de allí, Nada inmundo toquen. Salgan de en medio de ella, purifíquense, Ustedes que llevan las vasijas del Señor.

12 F or not in haste do ye go out, Yea, with flight ye go not on, For going before you Jehovah, And gathering you the God of Israel!

Pues no saldrán precipitadamente, Ni irán como fugitivos. Porque delante de ustedes irá el Señor, Y su retaguardia será el Dios de Israel. Sufrimiento y Gloria del Siervo del Señor

13 L o, My servant doth act wisely, He is high, and hath been lifted up, And hath been very high.

Oigan esto: Mi siervo prosperará, Será enaltecido, levantado y en gran manera exaltado.

14 A s astonished at thee have been many, (So marred by man his appearance, And his form by sons of men.)

De la manera que muchos se asombraron de ti, pueblo Mío, Así fue desfigurada Su apariencia más que la de cualquier hombre, Y Su aspecto más que el de los hijos de los hombres.

15 S o doth he sprinkle many nations. Concerning him kings shut their mouth, For that which was not recounted to them they have seen, And that which they had not heard they have understood!

Ciertamente El asombrará a muchas naciones, Los reyes cerrarán la boca ante El. Porque lo que no les habían contado verán, Y lo que no habían oído entenderán.
