1 A nd Joshua is old, entering into days, and Jehovah saith unto him, `Thou hast become aged, thou hast entered into days; as to the land, very much hath been left to possess.

Cuando Josué ya era viejo el Señor le dijo: “Tú ya eres anciano y todavía queda mucha tierra por conquistar.

2 ` This the land that is left; all the circuits of the Philistines, and all Geshuri,

Esta es la tierra que queda: todos los distritos de los Filisteos y todos los de los Gesureos;

3 f rom Sihor which on the front of Egypt, and unto the border of Ekron northward, to the Canaanite it is reckoned, five princes of the Philistines, the Gazathite, and the Ashdothite, the Eshkalonite, the Gittite, and the Ekronite, also the Avim.

desde el Sihor, que está al oriente de Egipto, hasta la frontera de Ecrón al norte (que se considera de los Cananeos); los cinco príncipes de los Filisteos: el Gazeo, el Asdodeo, el Ascaloneo, el Geteo, y el Ecroneo; también los Aveos.

4 ` From the south, all the land of the Canaanite, and Mearah, which to the Sidonians, unto Aphek, unto the border of the Amorite;

Hacia el sur, toda la tierra de los Cananeos, y Mehara que pertenece a los Sidonios, hasta Afec, hasta la frontera de los Amorreos;

5 a nd the land of the Giblite, and all Lebanon, at the sun-rising, from Baal-Gad under mount Hermon, unto the going in to Hamath:

y la tierra de los Giblitas, y todo el Líbano hacia el oriente, desde Baal Gad al pie del Monte Hermón, hasta Lebo Hamat.

6 a ll the inhabitants of the hill-country, from Lebanon unto Misrephoth-Maim, all the Sidonians: I -- I dispossess them before the sons of Israel; only, cause it to fall to Israel for an inheritance, as I have commanded thee.

A todos los habitantes de la región montañosa desde el Líbano hasta Misrefot Maim, a todos los Sidonios, yo los expulsaré de delante de los Israelitas. Solamente tú tienes que repartir la tierra por suerte a Israel como heredad tal como te he mandado.

7 ` And now, apportion this land for an inheritance to the nine tribes, and the half of the tribe of Manasseh,' --

Ahora pues, reparte esta tierra como heredad a las nueve tribus, y a la media tribu de Manasés.”

8 w ith it the Reubenite, and the Gadite, have received their inheritance, which Moses hath given to them beyond the Jordan eastward, as Moses servant of Jehovah hath given to them;

Los Rubenitas y los Gaditas con la otra media tribu habían recibido ya su heredad, la cual Moisés les había dado al otro lado del Jordán, hacia el oriente, tal como se la había dado Moisés, siervo del Señor:

9 f rom Aroer, which on the edge of the brook Arnon, and the city which in the midst of the brook, and all the plain of Medeba unto Dihon,

desde Aroer, que está a la orilla del Valle del Arnón, con la ciudad que está en medio del valle, y toda la llanura de Medeba, hasta Dibón;

10 a nd all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorite, who reigned in Heshbon, unto the border of the Bene-Ammon,

todas las ciudades de Sehón, rey de los Amorreos, que reinaba en Hesbón, hasta la frontera de los Amonitas.

11 a nd Gilead, and the border of the Geshurite, and of the Maachathite, and all mount Hermon, and all Bashan unto Salcah;

También Galaad y el territorio de los Gesureos y los Maacateos, y todo el Monte Hermón, y todo Basán hasta Salca;

12 a ll the kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei; he was left of the remnant of the Rephaim, and Moses doth smite them, and dispossess them;

todo el reino de Og en Basán, el cual reinaba en Astarot y en Edrei (sólo él quedaba del remanente de los Refaítas ); porque Moisés los hirió y los desposeyó.

13 a nd the sons of Israel dispossessed not the Geshurite, and the Maachathite; and Geshur and Maachath dwell in the midst of Israel unto this day.

Pero los Israelitas no desposeyeron a los Gesureos ni a los Maacateos. Así que Gesur y Maaca habitan en medio de Israel hasta hoy.

14 O nly, to the tribe of Levi he hath not given an inheritance; fire-offerings of Jehovah, God of Israel, is its inheritance, as He hath spoken to it.

Sólo a la tribu de Leví no le dio Moisés heredad; las ofrendas encendidas al Señor, Dios de Israel, son su heredad, como El le había dicho. División de Canaán entre las Tribus

15 A nd Moses giveth to the tribe of the sons of Reuben, for their families;

Moisés le había dado una heredad a la tribu de los hijos de Rubén conforme a sus familias.

16 a nd the border is to them from Aroer, which on the edge of the brook Arnon, and the city which in the midst of the brook, and all the plain by Medeba,

Y el territorio de ellos era desde Aroer, que está a la orilla del Valle del Arnón, con la ciudad que está en medio del valle, y toda la llanura hasta Medeba;

17 H eshbon, and all its cities which in the plain, Dibon, and Bamoth-Baal, and Beth-Baal-Meon,

Hesbón y todas sus ciudades que están en la llanura: Dibón, Bamot Baal, Bet Baal Meón,

18 a nd Jahazah, and Kedemoth, and Mephaath,

Jahaza, Cademot, Mefaat,

19 a nd Kirjathaim, and Sibmah, and Zareth-Shahar, in the mount of the valley,

Quiriataim, Sibma, Zaret Sahar en el monte del valle,

20 a nd Beth-Peor, and the springs of Pisgah, and Beth-Jeshimoth,

Bet Peor, las laderas de Pisga, Bet Jesimot,

21 a nd all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorite, who reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses smote, with the princes of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, princes of Sihon, inhabitants of the land.

todas las ciudades de la llanura, y todo el reino de Sehón, rey de los Amorreos, que reinaba en Hesbón, al cual Moisés hirió, así como a los jefes de Madián, Evi, Requem, Zur, Hur y Reba, príncipes de Sehón que habitaban en aquella tierra.

22 A nd Balaam, son of Beor, the diviner, have the sons of Israel slain with the sword, among their wounded ones.

Entre los que mataron los Israelitas, también dieron muerte a espada al adivino Balaam, hijo de Beor.

23 A nd the border of the sons of Reuben is the Jordan, and border; this the inheritance of the sons of Reuben, for their families, the cities and their villages.

El límite de los Rubenitas era el Jordán. Esta fue la heredad de la tribu de Rubén según sus familias: las ciudades y sus aldeas.

24 A nd Moses giveth to the tribe of Gad, to the sons of Gad, for their families;

Moisés también había dado una heredad a la tribu de Gad, a los hijos de Gad, conforme a sus familias.

25 a nd the border is to them Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and the half of the land of the Bene-Ammon, unto Aroer which on the front of Rabbah,

Y su territorio era Jazer, todas las ciudades de Galaad y la mitad de la tierra de los Amonitas hasta Aroer, que está frente a Rabá;

26 a nd from Heshbon unto Ramath-Mispeh, and Betonim, and from Mahanaim unto the border of Debir,

desde Hesbón hasta Ramat Mizpa y Betonim, y desde Mahanaim hasta la frontera de Debir;

27 a nd in the valley, Beth-Aram, and Beth-Nimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, the Jordan and border, unto the extremity of the sea of Chinnereth, beyond the Jordan, eastward.

y en el valle, Bet Aram, Bet Nimra, Sucot y Zafón, el resto del reino de Sehón, rey de Hesbón, con el Jordán como límite, hasta el extremo del Mar de Cineret (Mar de Galilea) al otro lado del Jordán, al oriente.

28 T his the inheritance of the sons of Gad, for their families, the cities and their villages.

Esta es la heredad de los hijos de Gad según sus familias, las ciudades y sus aldeas.

29 A nd Moses giveth to the half of the tribe of Manasseh; and it is to the half of the tribe of the sons of Manasseh, for their families.

Moisés también le había dado una heredad a la media tribu de Manasés. Fue para la media tribu de los hijos de Manasés, conforme a sus familias.

30 A nd their border is from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the small towns of Jair, which in Bashan, sixty cities;

Su territorio abarcaba desde Mahanaim, todo Basán, todo el reino de Og, rey de Basán, y todos los pueblos de Jair que están en Basán, sesenta ciudades.

31 a nd the half of Gilead, and Ashteroth, and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, to the sons of Machir, son of Manasseh, to the half of the sons of Machir, for their families.

También la mitad de Galaad con Astarot y Edrei, ciudades del reino de Og en Basán, fueron para los hijos de Maquir, hijo de Manasés, para la mitad de los hijos de Maquir conforme a sus familias.

32 T hese they whom Moses caused to inherit in the plains of Moab, beyond the Jordan, Jericho, eastward;

Estos son los territorios que Moisés repartió por heredad en las llanuras de Moab, al otro lado del Jordán, al oriente de Jericó.

33 a nd to the tribe of Levi Moses gave not an inheritance; Jehovah, God of Israel, Himself their inheritance, as He hath spoken to them.

Pero a la tribu de Leví, Moisés no le dio heredad. El Señor, Dios de Israel, es su heredad, como El les había prometido.
