1 A nd now, thus said Jehovah, Thy Creator, O Jacob, and thy Fashioner, O Israel, Be not afraid, for I have redeemed thee, I have called on thy name -- thou Mine.

Mas ahora, así dice el Señor tu Creador, oh Jacob, Y el que te formó, oh Israel: “No temas, porque Yo te he redimido, Te he llamado por tu nombre; Mío eres tú.

2 W hen thou passest into waters, I with thee, And into floods, they do not overflow thee, When thou goest into fire, thou art not burnt, And a flame doth not burn against thee.

Cuando pases por las aguas, Yo estaré contigo, Y si por los ríos, no te cubrirán. Cuando pases por el fuego, no te quemarás, Ni la llama te abrasará.

3 F or I -- Jehovah thy God, The Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour, I have appointed Egypt thine atonement, Cush and Seba in thy stead.

Porque Yo soy el Señor tu Dios, El Santo de Israel, tu Salvador; He dado a Egipto por tu rescate, A Cus (Etiopía) y a Seba en lugar tuyo.

4 S ince thou wast precious in Mine eyes, Thou wast honoured, and I have loved thee, And I appoint men in thy stead, And peoples instead of thy life.

Ya que eres precioso a Mis ojos, Digno de honra, y Yo te amo, Entregaré a otros hombres en lugar tuyo, Y a otros pueblos por tu vida.

5 B e not afraid, for I with thee, From the east I bring in thy seed, And from the west I gather thee.

No temas, porque Yo estoy contigo; Del oriente traeré tu descendencia, Y del occidente te reuniré.

6 I am saying to the north, `Give up,' And to the south, `Restrain not.' Bring in My sons from afar, And My daughters from the end of the earth.

Diré al norte: “Entréga los;” Y al sur: “No los retengas.” Trae a Mis hijos desde lejos Y a Mis hijas desde los confines de la tierra,

7 E very one who is called by My name, Even for My honour I have created him, I have formed him, yea, I have made him.

A todo el que es llamado por Mi nombre Y a quien he creado para Mi gloria, A quien he formado y a quien he hecho.”

8 H e brought out a blind people who have eyes, And deaf ones who have ears.

Saquen al pueblo ciego, aunque tiene ojos, Y a los sordos, aunque tienen oídos.

9 A ll the nations have been gathered together, And the peoples are assembled, Who among them declareth this, And former things causeth us to hear? They give their witnesses, And they are declared righteous, And they hear and say, `Truth.'

Todas las naciones a una se han reunido Y se han congregado los pueblos. ¿Quién de ellos declarará esto Y nos proclamará las cosas anteriores ? Que presenten sus testigos y que se justifiquen, Que oigan y digan: “Es verdad.”

10 Y e My witnesses, an affirmation of Jehovah, And My servant whom I have chosen, So that ye know and give credence to Me, And understand that I He, Before Me there was no God formed, And after Me there is none.

“Ustedes son Mis testigos,” declara el Señor, “y Mi siervo a quien he escogido, Para que Me conozcan y crean en Mí, Y entiendan que Yo soy. Antes de Mí no fue formado otro dios, Ni después de Mí lo habrá.

11 I -- I Jehovah, And besides Me there is no saviour.

Yo, Yo soy el Señor, Y fuera de Mí no hay salvador.

12 I -- I declared, and saved, and proclaimed, And there is no stranger with you, And ye My witnesses, an affirmation of Jehovah, And I God.

Yo soy el que lo he anunciado, he salvado y lo he proclamado, Y no hay entre ustedes dios extraño. Ustedes, pues, son Mis testigos,” declara el Señor, “y Yo soy Dios.

13 E ven from the day I He, And there is no deliverer from My hand, I work, and who doth turn it back?

Aun desde la eternidad, Yo soy, Y no hay quien libre de Mi mano. Yo actúo, ¿y quién lo revocará ?”

14 T hus said Jehovah, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: `For your sake I have sent to Babylon, And caused bars to descend -- all of them, And the Chaldeans, whose song in the ships.

Así dice el Señor su Redentor, el Santo de Israel: “Por su causa envié a Babilonia E hice descender como fugitivos a todos ellos, Es decir, a los Caldeos, en las naves de las cuales se gloriaban.

15 I Jehovah, your Holy One, Creator of Israel, your King.'

Yo soy el Señor, su Santo, El Creador de Israel, su Rey.”

16 T hus said Jehovah, Who is giving in the sea a way, And in the strong waters a path.

Así dice el Señor, Que abre camino en el mar Y sendero en las aguas impetuosas;

17 W ho is bringing forth chariot and horse, A force, even a strong one: `Together they lie down -- they rise not, They have been extinguished, As flax they have been quenched.'

El que hace salir carro y caballo, Ejército y fuerza (a una se echarán y no se levantarán, Como mecha han sido apagados y extinguidos):

18 R emember not former things, And ancient things consider not.

“No recuerden las cosas anteriores Ni consideren las cosas del pasado.

19 L o, I am doing a new thing, now it springeth up, Do ye not know it? Yea, I put in a wilderness a way, In a desolate place -- floods.

Yo hago algo nuevo, Ahora acontece; ¿No lo perciben? Aun en los desiertos haré camino Y ríos en los lugares desolados.

20 H onour me doth the beast of the field, Dragons and daughters of an ostrich, For I have given in a wilderness waters, Floods in a desolate place, To give drink to My people -- My chosen.

Me glorificarán las bestias del campo, Los chacales y los avestruces, Porque he puesto aguas en los desiertos Y ríos en los lugares desolados, Para dar de beber a Mi pueblo escogido.

21 T his people I have formed for Myself, My praise they recount.

El pueblo que Yo he formado para Mí Proclamará Mi alabanza.

22 A nd Me thou hast not called, O Jacob, For thou hast been wearied of me, O Israel,

Pero no Me has invocado, Jacob, Sino que te has cansado de Mí, Israel.

23 T hou hast not brought in to Me, The lamb of thy burnt-offerings, And thy sacrifices thou hast not honoured Me, I have not caused thee to serve with a present, Nor wearied thee with frankincense.

No Me has traído las ovejas de tus holocaustos, Ni Me has honrado con tus sacrificios. No te he abrumado exigiendo ofrendas de cereal, Ni te he cansado exigiendo incienso.

24 T hou hast not bought for Me with money sweet cane, And the fat of thy sacrifices hast not filled Me, Only -- thou hast caused Me to serve with thy sins, Thou hast wearied Me with thine iniquities.

No Me has comprado con dinero caña aromática, Ni con la grasa de tus sacrificios Me has saciado. Por el contrario Me has abrumado con tus pecados, Y Me has cansado con tus iniquidades.

25 I -- I He who is blotting out Thy transgressions for Mine own sake, And thy sins I do not remember.

Yo, Yo soy el que borro tus transgresiones por amor a Mí mismo, Y no recordaré tus pecados.

26 C ause me to remember -- we are judged together, Declare thou that thou mayest be justified.

Hazme recordar, discutamos juntos nuestro caso; Habla tú para justificarte.

27 T hy first father sinned, And thine interpreters transgressed against me,

Tu primer padre pecó, Y tus voceros se rebelaron contra Mí.

28 A nd I pollute princes of the sanctuary, And I give Jacob to destruction, and Israel to revilings!

Por tanto, profanaré a los príncipes del santuario, Y entregaré a Jacob al anatema (a la destrucción) y a Israel al oprobio.
