1 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, and unto Aaron, saying,

El Señor les dijo a Moisés y a Aarón:

2 ` When a man hath in the skin of his flesh a rising, or scab, or bright spot, and it hath become in the skin of his flesh a leprous plague, then he hath been brought in unto Aaron the priest, or unto one of his sons the priests;

“Cuando alguien tenga en la piel de su cuerpo hinchazón, o erupción, o mancha blanca lustrosa, y se convierta en infección de lepra en la piel de su cuerpo, será traído al sacerdote Aarón o a uno de sus hijos, los sacerdotes.

3 a nd the priest hath seen the plague in the skin of the flesh, and the hair in the plague hath turned white, and the appearance of the plague deeper than the skin of his flesh -- it a plague of leprosy, and the priest hath seen him, and hath pronounced him unclean.

El sacerdote mirará la infección en la piel del cuerpo; y si el pelo en la infección se ha vuelto blanco, y la infección parece más profunda que la piel de su cuerpo, es una infección de lepra; cuando el sacerdote lo haya examinado lo declarará inmundo.

4 ` And if the bright spot is white in the skin of his flesh, and its appearance is not deeper than the skin, and its hair hath not turned white, then hath the priest shut up the plague seven days.

Pero si la mancha lustrosa es blanca en la piel de su cuerpo, y no parece ser más profunda que la piel, y el pelo en ella no se ha vuelto blanco, entonces el sacerdote aislará por siete días al que tiene la infección.

5 ` And the priest hath seen him on the seventh day, and lo, the plague hath stood in his eyes, the plague hath not spread in the skin, and the priest hath shut him up a second seven days.

Al séptimo día el sacerdote lo examinará, y si en su parecer la infección no ha cambiado, y si la infección no se ha extendido en la piel, entonces el sacerdote lo aislará por otros siete días.

6 ` And the priest hath seen him on the second seventh day, and lo, the plague is become weak, and the plague hath not spread in the skin -- and the priest hath pronounced him clean, it a scab, and he hath washed his garments, and hath been clean.

El sacerdote lo examinará de nuevo al séptimo día; y si la infección ha oscurecido, y la infección no se ha extendido en la piel, entonces el sacerdote lo declarará limpio; es sólo una postilla. La persona lavará sus vestidos y quedará limpia.

7 ` And if the scab spread greatly in the skin, after his being seen by the priest for his cleansing, then he hath been seen a second time by the priest;

“Pero si la postilla se extiende en la piel después que él se haya mostrado al sacerdote para su purificación, volverá a presentarse al sacerdote.

8 a nd the priest hath seen, and lo, the scab hath spread in the skin, and the priest hath pronounced him unclean; it leprosy.

Y el sacerdote lo examinará, y si la postilla se ha extendido en la piel, entonces el sacerdote lo declarará inmundo; es lepra.

9 ` When a plague of leprosy is in a man, then he hath been brought in unto the priest,

“Cuando haya infección de lepra en un hombre, será traído al sacerdote.

10 a nd the priest hath seen, and lo, a white rising in the skin, and it hath turned the hair white, and a quickening of raw flesh in the rising, --

Entonces el sacerdote lo examinará, y si hay hinchazón blanca en la piel, y el pelo se ha vuelto blanco, y hay carne viva en la hinchazón,

11 a n old leprosy it in the skin of his flesh, and the priest hath pronounced him unclean; he doth not shut him up, for he unclean.

es lepra crónica en la piel de su cuerpo, y el sacerdote lo declarará inmundo; no lo aislará, porque es inmundo.

12 ` And if the leprosy break out greatly in the skin, and the leprosy hath covered all the skin of the plague, from his head even unto his feet, to all that appeareth to the eyes of the priest,

Y si la lepra brota y se extiende en la piel, y la lepra cubre toda la piel del que tenía la infección, desde su cabeza hasta sus pies, hasta donde pueda ver el sacerdote,

13 t hen hath the priest seen, and lo, the leprosy hath covered all his flesh, and he hath pronounced the plague clean; it hath all turned white; he clean.

entonces el sacerdote mirará, y si ve que la lepra ha cubierto todo su cuerpo, declarará limpio al que tenía la infección; se ha vuelto toda blanca y él es limpio.

14 ` And in the day of raw flesh being seen in him he is unclean;

Pero cuando aparezca en él carne viva, quedará inmundo.

15 a nd the priest hath seen the raw flesh, and hath pronounced him unclean; the raw flesh is unclean, it leprosy.

El sacerdote mirará la carne viva, y lo declarará inmundo; la carne viva es inmunda, es lepra.

16 O r when the raw flesh turneth back, and hath been turned to white, then he hath come in unto the priest,

Pero si la carne viva cambia nuevamente y se vuelve blanca, entonces vendrá al sacerdote,

17 a nd the priest hath seen him, and lo, the plague hath been turned to white, and the priest hath pronounced clean the plague; he clean.

y el sacerdote lo mirará, y si ve que la infección se ha vuelto blanca, el sacerdote declarará limpio al que tenía la infección; limpio es.

18 ` And when flesh hath in it, in its skin, an ulcer, and it hath been healed,

“Cuando el cuerpo tenga una úlcera en su piel, y se sane,

19 a nd there hath been in the place of the ulcer a white rising, or a bright white spot, very red, then it hath been seen by the priest,

y en el lugar de la úlcera haya hinchazón blanca, o una mancha lustrosa, blanca rojiza, será mostrada al sacerdote,

20 a nd the priest hath seen, and lo, its appearance lower than the skin, and its hair hath turned white, and the priest hath pronounced him unclean; it a plague of leprosy -- in an ulcer it hath broken out.

y el sacerdote la examinará, y si parece que está a un nivel más bajo que la piel y su pelo se ha vuelto blanco, el sacerdote lo declarará inmundo. Es infección de lepra, ha brotado en la úlcera.

21 ` And if the priest see it, and lo, there is no white hair in it, and it is not lower than the skin, and is become weak, then hath the priest shut him up seven days;

Pero si el sacerdote la examina, y ve que no hay pelos blancos en ella, y no está a nivel más bajo que la piel y se ha oscurecido, el sacerdote lo aislará por siete días;

22 a nd if it spread greatly in the skin, then hath the priest pronounced him unclean, it a plague;

y si se extiende en la piel, el sacerdote lo declarará inmundo: es infección.

23 a nd if in its place the bright spot stay -- it hath not spread -- it an inflammation of the ulcer; and the priest hath pronounced him clean.

Pero si la mancha lustrosa permanece en su lugar y no se extiende, es sólo la cicatriz de la úlcera. El sacerdote lo declarará limpio.

24 ` Or when flesh hath in its skin a fiery burning, and the quickening of the burning, the bright white spot, hath been very red or white,

“Asimismo, si el cuerpo sufre en su piel una quemadura de fuego, y la carne viva de la quemadura se vuelve una mancha lustrosa, blanca rojiza o sólo blanca,

25 a nd the priest hath seen it, and lo, the hair hath turned white in the bright spot, and its appearance deeper than the skin; leprosy it, in the burning it hath broken out, and the priest hath pronounced him unclean; it a plague of leprosy.

entonces el sacerdote la examinará. Y si el pelo en la mancha lustrosa se ha vuelto blanco, y la mancha parece estar más profunda que la piel, es lepra; ha brotado en la quemadura. Por tanto, el sacerdote lo declarará inmundo. Es infección de lepra.

26 ` And if the priest see it, and lo, there is no white hair on the bright spot, and it is not lower than the skin, and it is become weak, then the priest hath shut him up seven days;

Pero si el sacerdote la examina, y ve que no hay pelo blanco en la mancha lustrosa y no está más profunda que la piel, pero está oscura, entonces el sacerdote lo aislará por siete días.

27 a nd the priest hath seen him on the seventh day, if it spread greatly in the skin, then the priest hath pronounced him unclean; a plague of leprosy it.

Al séptimo día el sacerdote lo examinará. Si se ha extendido en la piel, el sacerdote lo declarará inmundo. Es infección de lepra.

28 ` And if the bright spot stay in its place, it hath not spread in the skin, and is become weak; a rising of the burning it, and the priest hath pronounced him clean; for it inflammation of the burning.

Pero si la mancha lustrosa permanece en su lugar y no se ha extendido en la piel, sino que está oscura, es la hinchazón de la quemadura; y el sacerdote lo declarará limpio, pues es sólo la cicatriz de la quemadura.

29 ` And when a man (or a woman) hath in him a plague in the head or in the beard,

“Si un hombre o una mujer tiene una infección en la cabeza o en la barba,

30 t hen hath the priest seen the plague, and lo, its appearance is deeper than the skin, and in it a thin shining hair, and the priest hath pronounced him unclean; it a scall -- it a leprosy of the head or of the beard.

el sacerdote le examinará la infección, y si parece estar más profunda que la piel y hay en ella pelo fino amarillento, entonces el sacerdote lo declarará inmundo. Es tiña, es lepra de la cabeza o de la barba.

31 ` And when the priest seeth the plague of the scall, and lo, its appearance is not deeper than the skin, and there is no black hair in it, then hath the priest shut up the plague of the scall seven days.

Pero si el sacerdote examina la infección de la tiña, y no parece ser más profunda que la piel y no hay en ella pelo negro, el sacerdote aislará por siete días a la persona con la infección de la tiña.

32 ` And the priest hath seen the plague on the seventh day, and lo, the scall hath not spread, and a shining hair hath not been in it, and the appearance of the scall is not deeper than the skin,

Al séptimo día el sacerdote examinará la infección, y si la tiña no se ha extendido, ni ha crecido en ella pelo amarillento, ni la tiña parece ser más profunda que la piel,

33 t hen he hath shaved himself, but the scall he doth not shave; and the priest hath shut up the scall a second seven days.

entonces se rasurará, pero no rasurará la parte con tiña; y el sacerdote aislará al que tiene la tiña por otros siete días.

34 A nd the priest hath seen the scall on the seventh day, and lo, the scall hath not spread in the skin, and its appearance is not deeper than the skin, and the priest hath pronounced him clean, and he hath washed his garments, and hath been clean.

Al séptimo día el sacerdote examinará la tiña, y si ésta no se ha extendido en la piel y no parece estar más profunda que la piel, el sacerdote lo declarará limpio. Entonces, el enfermo lavará sus vestidos y quedará limpio.

35 ` And if the scall spread greatly in the skin after his cleansing,

Pero si la tiña se extiende en la piel después de su purificación,

36 a nd the priest hath seen him, and lo, the scall hath spread in the skin, the priest seeketh not for the shining hair, he is unclean;

el sacerdote lo examinará, y si la tiña se ha extendido en la piel, el sacerdote no tiene que buscar pelo amarillento; es inmundo.

37 a nd if in his eyes the scall hath stayed, and black hair hath sprung up in it, the scall hath been healed -- he clean -- and the priest hath pronounced him clean.

Si en su parecer la tiña ha permanecido igual y ha crecido pelo negro en ella, la tiña ha sanado; es limpio, y el sacerdote lo declarará limpio.

38 ` And when a man or woman hath in the skin of their flesh bright spots, white bright spots,

“Cuando un hombre o una mujer tenga manchas lustrosas en la piel de su cuerpo, manchas blancas lustrosas,

39 a nd the priest hath seen, and lo, in the skin of their flesh white weak bright spots, it a freckled spot broken out in the skin; he clean.

el sacerdote las examinará, y si las manchas lustrosas en la piel de su cuerpo son de color blanquecino, es eczema que ha brotado en la piel; la persona es limpia.

40 ` And when a man's head polished, he bald, he clean;

“Si un hombre pierde el pelo de la cabeza, es calvo, pero limpio.

41 a nd if from the corner of his face his head is polished, he bald of the forehead; he clean.

Y si su cabeza pierde el pelo por delante y por los lados, es calvo en la frente; es limpio.

42 ` And when there is in the bald back of the head, or in the bald forehead, a very red white plague, it a leprosy breaking out in the bald back of the head, or in the bald forehead;

Pero si en la calva de la cabeza o de la frente aparece una infección blanca rojiza, es lepra que brota en la calva de su cabeza o en la calva de su frente.

43 a nd the priest hath seen him, and lo, the rising of the very red white plague in the bald back of the head, or in the bald forehead, as the appearance of leprosy, in the skin of the flesh,

Entonces el sacerdote lo examinará; y si la hinchazón de la infección es blanca rojiza en la calva de la cabeza o en la calva de la frente, como la apariencia de la lepra en la piel del cuerpo,

44 h e a leprous man, he unclean; the priest doth pronounce him utterly unclean; his plague in his head.

es un leproso, es inmundo. El sacerdote ciertamente lo declarará inmundo; su infección está en su cabeza.

45 ` As to the leper in whom the plague, his garments are rent, and his head is uncovered, and he covereth over the upper lip, and `Unclean! unclean!' he calleth;

“En cuanto al leproso que tenga la infección, sus vestidos estarán rasgados, el cabello de su cabeza estará descubierto, se cubrirá el bozo y gritará: ‘¡Inmundo, inmundo!’

46 a ll the days that the plague in him he is unclean; he unclean, alone he doth dwell, at the outside of the camp his dwelling.

Permanecerá inmundo todos los días que tenga la infección; es inmundo. Vivirá solo; su morada estará fuera del campamento.

47 ` And when there is in any garment a plague of leprosy, -- in a garment of wool, or in a garment of linen,

“Cuando un vestido tenga una marca de lepra, sea un vestido de lana o de lino,

48 o r in the warp, or in the woof, of linen or of wool, or in a skin, or in any work of skin,

sea en la urdimbre o en la trama, de lino o de lana, en cuero o en cualquier artículo hecho de cuero,

49 a nd the plague hath been very green or very red in the garment, or in the skin, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in any vessel of skin, it a plague of leprosy, and it hath been shewn the priest.

si la marca en el vestido o en el cuero, en la urdimbre o en la trama, o en cualquier artículo de cuero, es verdosa o rojiza, es marca de lepra y le será mostrada al sacerdote.

50 ` And the priest hath seen the plague, and hath shut up the plague, seven days;

Entonces el sacerdote examinará la marca, y aislará el artículo con marca por siete días.

51 a nd he hath seen the plague on the seventh day, and the plague hath spread in the garment, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in the skin, of all that is made of skin for work; the plague a fretting leprosy, it unclean.

Al séptimo día examinará la marca; si la marca se ha extendido en el vestido, sea en la urdimbre o en la trama, o en el cuero, cualquiera que sea el uso que se le dé al cuero, la marca es una lepra maligna, es inmunda.

52 ` And he hath burnt the garment, or the warp, or the woof, in wool or in linen, or any vessel of skin in which the plague is; for it a fretting leprosy; with fire it is burnt.

Quemará, pues, el vestido, ya sea la urdimbre o la trama, en lana o en lino, o cualquier artículo de cuero en el cual aparezca la marca, porque es una lepra maligna; será quemado en el fuego.

53 ` And if the priest see, and lo, the plague hath not spread in the garment, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in any vessel of skin,

“Pero si el sacerdote la examina, y la marca no se ha extendido en el vestido, en la urdimbre o en la trama, o en cualquier artículo de cuero,

54 t hen hath the priest commanded, and they have washed that in which the plague, and he hath shut it up a second seven days.

entonces el sacerdote les ordenará lavar aquello donde aparezca la marca, y lo aislará por otros siete días.

55 A nd the priest hath seen the plague after it hath been washed, and lo, the plague hath not changed its aspect, and the plague hath not spread, -- it unclean; with fire thou dost burn it; it a fretting in its back-part or in its front-part.

Después que el artículo con la marca haya sido lavado, el sacerdote lo examinará otra vez, y si la marca no ha cambiado de aspecto, aun cuando la marca no se haya extendido, es inmundo; en el fuego lo quemarás, ya sea que la corrosión lo haya raído por el derecho o el revés.

56 ` And if the priest hath seen, and lo, the plague become weak after it hath been washed, then he hath rent it out of the garment, or out of the skin, or out of the warp, or out of the woof;

“Entonces el sacerdote lo examinará, y si la marca se ha oscurecido después de haber sido lavada, la arrancará del vestido o del cuero, sea de la urdimbre o de la trama;

57 a nd if it still be seen in the garment, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in any vessel of skin, it a fretting; with fire thou dost burn it -- that in which the plague.

y si aparece otra vez en el vestido, sea en la urdimbre o en la trama, o en cualquier artículo de cuero, es una erupción; el artículo con la marca será quemado en el fuego.

58 ` And the garment, or the warp, or the woof, or any vessel of skin which thou dost wash when the plague hath turned aside from them, then it hath been washed a second time, and hath been clean.

El vestido, sea en la urdimbre o en la trama, o cualquier artículo de cuero del cual se haya quitado la marca después de haberlo lavado, será lavado por segunda vez y quedará limpio.”

59 ` This the law of a plague of leprosy a garment of wool or of linen, or of the warp or of the woof, or of any vessel of skin, to pronounce it clean or to pronounce it unclean.'

Esta es la ley para la marca de lepra en un vestido de lana o de lino, sea en la urdimbre o en la trama, o en cualquier artículo de cuero, para declararlo limpio o inmundo.
