1 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, in the wilderness of Sinai, in the second year of their going out of the land of Egypt, in the first month, saying,

El Señor habló así a Moisés en el desierto de Sinaí, en el primer mes del segundo año de su salida de la tierra de Egipto:

2 ` Also, the sons of Israel prepare the passover in its appointed season;

“Que los Israelitas celebren la Pascua a su tiempo señalado.

3 i n the fourteenth day of this month between the evenings ye prepare it in its appointed season; according to all its statutes, and according to all its ordinances ye prepare it.'

En el día catorce de este mes, al atardecer, ustedes la celebrarán a su tiempo señalado; la celebrarán conforme a todos sus estatutos y conforme a todas sus ordenanzas.”

4 A nd Moses speaketh unto the sons of Israel to prepare the passover,

Mandó, pues, Moisés a los Israelitas que celebraran la Pascua.

5 a nd they prepare the passover in the first, on the fourteenth day of the month, between the evenings, in the wilderness of Sinai; according to all that Jehovah hath commanded Moses, so have the sons of Israel done.

Y celebraron la Pascua en el mes primero, en el día catorce del mes, al atardecer, en el desierto de Sinaí; tal como el Señor había ordenado a Moisés, así lo hicieron los Israelitas.

6 A nd there are men who have been defiled by the body of a man, and they have not been able to prepare the passover on that day, and they come near before Moses, and before Aaron, on that day,

Pero había algunos hombres que estaban inmundos por causa de una persona muerta, y no pudieron celebrar la Pascua aquel día. Y vinieron ante Moisés y Aarón aquel día,

7 a nd those men say unto him, `We are defiled by the body of a man; why are we withheld so as not to bring near the offering of Jehovah in its appointed season, in the midst of the sons of Israel?'

y aquellos hombres les dijeron: “ Aunque estemos inmundos por causa de una persona muerta, ¿por qué se nos impide presentar la ofrenda del Señor en su tiempo señalado entre los Israelitas?”

8 A nd Moses saith unto them, `Stand ye, and I hear what Jehovah hath commanded concerning you.'

Entonces Moisés les dijo: “Esperen, y oiré lo que el Señor ordene acerca de ustedes.” Ley de la Pascua

9 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

Entonces el Señor dijo a Moisés:

10 ` Speak unto the sons of Israel, saying, Though any man is unclean by a body or in a distant journey (of you or of your generations), yet he hath prepared a passover to Jehovah;

“Habla a los Israelitas y diles: ‘Si alguien de ustedes o de sus descendientes (generaciones) está inmundo por causa de un muerto, o anda lejos de viaje, puede, sin embargo, celebrar la Pascua al Señor.

11 i n the second month, on the fourteenth day, between the evenings they prepare it; with unleavened and bitter things they eat it;

La celebrarán a los catorce días del segundo mes, al atardecer; la comerán con pan sin levadura y hierbas amargas.

12 t hey do not leave of till morning; and a bone they do not break in it: according to all the statute of the passover they prepare it.

Nada dejarán de ella hasta la mañana, ni quebrarán hueso de ella; conforme a todos los estatutos de la Pascua la celebrarán.

13 ` And the man who is clean, and hath not been on a journey, and hath ceased to prepare the passover, even that person hath been cut off from his people; because the offering of Jehovah he hath not brought near, in its appointed season, that man doth bear his sin.

Pero si alguien que está limpio y no anda de viaje, deja de celebrar la Pascua, esa persona será eliminada de entre su pueblo, porque no presentó la ofrenda del Señor a su tiempo señalado. Ese hombre llevará su pecado.

14 ` And when a sojourner sojourneth with you, then he hath prepared a passover to Jehovah, according to the statute of the passover, and according to its ordinance, so he doth; one statute is to you, even to a sojourner, and to a native of the land.'

Y si un extranjero reside entre ustedes y celebra la Pascua al Señor, conforme al estatuto de la Pascua y conforme a su ordenanza lo hará; ustedes tendrán un solo estatuto, tanto para el extranjero como para el nativo de la tierra.’” La Nube sobre el Tabernáculo

15 A nd in the day of the raising up of the tabernacle hath the cloud covered the tabernacle, even the tent of the testimony; and in the evening there is on the tabernacle as an appearance of fire till morning;

El día que fue erigido el tabernáculo, la nube cubrió el tabernáculo, la tienda del testimonio, y al atardecer estaba sobre el tabernáculo algo que parecía de fuego, hasta la mañana.

16 s o it is continually; the cloud covereth it, also the appearance of fire by night.

Así sucedía continuamente; la nube lo cubría de día, y la apariencia de fuego de noche.

17 A nd according to the going up of the cloud from off the tent and afterwards do the sons of Israel journey; and in the place where the cloud doth tabernacle, there do the sons of Israel encamp;

Y cuando la nube se levantaba de sobre la tienda, enseguida los Israelitas partían; y en el lugar donde la nube se detenía, allí acampaban los Israelitas.

18 b y the command of Jehovah the sons of Israel journey, and by the command of Jehovah they encamp; all the days that the cloud doth tabernacle over the tabernacle they encamp.

Al mandato del Señor los Israelitas partían, y al mandato del Señor acampaban; mientras la nube estaba sobre el tabernáculo, permanecían acampados.

19 A nd in the cloud prolonging itself over the tabernacle many days, then have the sons of Israel kept the charge of Jehovah, and journey not,

Aun cuando la nube se detenía sobre el tabernáculo por muchos días, los Israelitas guardaban la ordenanza del Señor y no partían.

20 a nd so when the cloud is a number of days over the tabernacle; by the command of Jehovah they encamp, and by the command of Jehovah they journey.

Cuando la nube permanecía algunos días sobre el tabernáculo, según la orden del Señor, permanecían acampados; y según la orden del Señor, partían.

21 A nd so when the cloud is from evening till morning, when the cloud hath gone up in the morning, then they have journeyed; whether by day or by night, when the cloud hath gone up, then they have journeyed.

Pero cuando la nube permanecía desde el atardecer hasta la mañana, y la nube se levantaba por la mañana, ellos partían; y si permanecía durante el día y durante la noche, cuando la nube se levantaba, ellos partían.

22 W hether two days, or a month, or days, in the cloud prolonging itself over the tabernacle, to tabernacle over it, the sons of Israel encamp, and journey not; and in its being lifted up they journey;

Ya fuera que la nube se detuviera sobre el tabernáculo permaneciendo sobre él dos días, o un mes, o un año, los Israelitas permanecían acampados y no partían; pero cuando se levantaba, partían.

23 b y the command of Jehovah they encamp, and by the command of Jehovah they journey; the charge of Jehovah they have kept, by the command of Jehovah in the hand of Moses.

Al mandato del Señor acampaban, y al mandato del Señor partían; guardaban la ordenanza del Señor según el mandato del Señor por medio de Moisés.
