1 A nd God blesseth Noah, and his sons, and saith to them, `Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the earth;

Y Dios bendijo a Noé y a sus hijos, y les dijo: “Sean fecundos y multiplíquense, y llenen la tierra.

2 a nd your fear and your dread is on every beast of the earth, and on every fowl of the heavens, on all that creepeth on the ground, and on all fishes of the sea -- into your hand they have been given.

El temor y el terror de ustedes estarán sobre todos los animales de la tierra, sobre todas las aves del cielo, en todo lo que se arrastra sobre el suelo, y en todos los peces del mar. En su mano son todos entregados.

3 E very creeping thing that is alive, to you it is for food; as the green herb I have given to you the whole;

Todo lo que se mueve y tiene vida les será para alimento. Todo lo doy a ustedes como les di la hierba verde.

4 o nly flesh in its life -- its blood -- ye do not eat.

Pero carne con su vida, es decir, con su sangre, no comerán.

5 ` And only your blood for your lives do I require; from the hand of every living thing I require it, and from the hand of man, from the hand of every man's brother I require the life of man;

“De la sangre de ustedes, de la vida de ustedes, ciertamente pediré cuenta: a cualquier animal, y a cualquier hombre, pediré cuenta; de cada hombre pediré cuenta de la vida de un ser humano.

6 w hoso sheddeth man's blood, by man is his blood shed: for in the image of God hath He made man.

El que derrame sangre de hombre, Por el hombre su sangre será derramada, Porque a imagen de Dios Hizo El al hombre.

7 A nd ye, be fruitful and multiply, teem in the earth, and multiply in it.'

En cuanto a ustedes, sean fecundos y multiplíquense. Pueblen en abundancia la tierra y multiplíquense en ella.”

8 A nd God speaketh unto Noah, and unto his sons with him, saying,

Entonces Dios habló a Noé y a sus hijos que estaban con él y les dijo:

9 ` And I, lo, I am establishing My covenant with you, and with your seed after you,

“Miren, Yo establezco Mi pacto con ustedes, y con su descendencia después de ustedes,

10 a nd with every living creature which with you, among fowl, among cattle, and among every beast of the earth with you, from all who are going out of the ark -- to every beast of the earth.

y con todo ser viviente que está con ustedes: aves, ganados y todos los animales de la tierra que están con ustedes, todos los que han salido del arca, todos los animales de la tierra.

11 A nd I have established My covenant with you, and all flesh is not any more cut off by waters of a deluge, and there is not any more a deluge to destroy the earth.'

Yo establezco Mi pacto con ustedes, y nunca más volverá a ser exterminada toda carne (todo ser viviente) por las aguas del diluvio, ni habrá más diluvio para destruir la tierra.”

12 A nd God saith, `This is a token of the covenant which I am giving between Me and you, and every living creature that with you, to generations age-during;

También dijo Dios: “Esta es la señal del pacto que Yo hago con ustedes y todo ser viviente que está con ustedes, por todas las generaciones:

13 M y bow I have given in the cloud, and it hath been for a token of a covenant between Me and the earth;

Pongo Mi arco en las nubes y será por señal de Mi pacto con la tierra.

14 a nd it hath come to pass (in My sending a cloud over the earth) that the bow hath been seen in the cloud,

“Y acontecerá que cuando haga venir nubes sobre la tierra, se verá el arco en las nubes,

15 a nd I have remembered My covenant which is between Me and you, and every living creature among all flesh, and the waters become no more a deluge to destroy all flesh;

y me acordaré de Mi pacto, con ustedes y con todo ser viviente de toda carne. Nunca más se convertirán las aguas en diluvio para destruir toda carne.

16 a nd the bow hath been in the cloud, and I have seen it -- to remember the covenant age-during between God and every living creature among all flesh which on the earth.'

Cuando el arco esté en las nubes, lo miraré para acordarme del pacto eterno entre Dios y todo ser viviente de toda carne que está sobre la tierra.”

17 A nd God saith unto Noah, `This a token of the covenant which I have established between Me and all flesh that upon the earth.'

Y dijo Dios a Noé: “Esta es la señal del pacto que Yo he establecido con toda carne que está sobre la tierra.” Noé y sus Hijos

18 A nd the sons of Noah who are going out of the ark are Shem, and Ham, and Japheth; and Ham is father of Canaan.

Los hijos de Noé que salieron del arca fueron Sem, Cam y Jafet. Cam fue el padre (antepasado) de Canaán.

19 T hese three sons of Noah, and from these hath all the earth been overspread.

Estos tres fueron los hijos de Noé, y de ellos se pobló toda la tierra.

20 A nd Noah remaineth a man of the ground, and planteth a vineyard,

Noé comenzó a labrar la tierra, y plantó una viña.

21 a nd drinketh of the wine, and is drunken, and uncovereth himself in the midst of the tent.

Bebió el vino y se embriagó, y se desnudó en medio de su tienda.

22 A nd Ham, father of Canaan, seeth the nakedness of his father, and declareth to his two brethren without.

Cam, padre (antepasado) de Canaán, vio la desnudez de su padre y se lo contó a sus dos hermanos que estaban afuera.

23 A nd Shem taketh -- Japheth also -- the garment, and they place on the shoulder of them both, and go backward, and cover the nakedness of their father; and their faces backward, and their father's nakedness they have not seen.

Entonces Sem y Jafet tomaron un manto, lo pusieron sobre sus hombros, y caminando hacia atrás cubrieron la desnudez de su padre. Como sus rostros estaban vueltos, no vieron la desnudez de su padre.

24 A nd Noah awaketh from his wine, and knoweth that which his young son hath done to him,

Cuando Noé despertó de su embriaguez, y supo lo que su hijo menor le había hecho,

25 a nd saith: `Cursed Canaan, Servant of servants he is to his brethren.'

dijo: “Maldito sea Canaán; Siervo de siervos Será para sus hermanos.”

26 A nd he saith: `Blessed of Jehovah my God Shem, And Canaan is servant to him.

Dijo también: “Bendito sea el Señor, El Dios de Sem; Y sea Canaán su siervo.

27 G od doth give beauty to Japheth, And he dwelleth in tents of Shem, And Canaan is servant to him.'

Engrandezca Dios a Jafet, Y habite en las tiendas de Sem; Y sea Canaán su siervo.”

28 A nd Noah liveth after the deluge three hundred and fifty years;

Noé vivió 350 años después del diluvio.

29 a nd all the days of Noah are nine hundred and fifty years, and he dieth.

El total de los días de Noé fue de 950 años, y murió.
