1 B y David, in his changing his behaviour before Abimelech, and he driveth him away, and he goeth. I do bless Jehovah at all times, Continually His praise in my mouth.

Bendeciré al Señor en todo tiempo; Continuamente estará Su alabanza en mi boca.

2 I n Jehovah doth my soul boast herself, Hear do the humble and rejoice.

En el Señor se gloriará mi alma; Lo oirán los humildes y se regocijarán.

3 A scribe ye greatness to Jehovah with me, And we exalt His name together.

Engrandezcan al Señor conmigo, Y exaltemos a una Su nombre.

4 I sought Jehovah, and He answered me, And from all my fears did deliver me.

Busqué al Señor, y El me respondió, Y me libró de todos mis temores.

5 T hey looked expectingly unto Him, And they became bright, And their faces are not ashamed.

Los que a El miraron, fueron iluminados; Sus rostros jamás serán avergonzados.

6 T his poor called, and Jehovah heard, And from all his distresses saved him.

Este pobre clamó, y el Señor le oyó, Y lo salvó de todas sus angustias.

7 A messenger of Jehovah is encamping, Round about those who fear Him, And He armeth them.

El ángel del Señor acampa alrededor de los que Le temen, Y los rescata.

8 T aste ye and see that Jehovah good, O the happiness of the man who trusteth in Him.

Prueben y vean que el Señor es bueno. ¡Cuán bienaventurado es el hombre que en El se refugia!

9 F ear Jehovah, ye His holy ones, For there is no lack to those fearing Him.

Teman al Señor, ustedes Sus santos, Pues nada les falta a aquéllos que Le temen.

10 Y oung lions have lacked and been hungry, And those seeking Jehovah lack not any good,

Los leoncillos pasan necesidad y tienen hambre, Pero los que buscan al Señor no carecerán de bien alguno.

11 C ome ye, children, hearken to me, The fear of Jehovah I do teach you.

Vengan, hijos, escúchenme; Les enseñaré el temor del Señor.

12 W ho the man that is desiring life? Loving days to see good?

¿Quién es el hombre que desea vida Y quiere muchos días para ver el bien ?

13 K eep thy tongue from evil, And thy lips from speaking deceit.

Guarda tu lengua del mal Y tus labios de hablar engaño.

14 T urn aside from evil and do good, Seek peace and pursue it.

Apártate del mal y haz el bien, Busca la paz y síguela.

15 T he eyes of Jehovah unto the righteous, And His ears unto their cry.

Los ojos del Señor están sobre los justos, Y Sus oídos atentos a su clamor.

16 ( The face of Jehovah on doers of evil, To cut off from earth their memorial.)

El rostro del Señor está contra los que hacen mal, Para cortar de la tierra su memoria.

17 T hey cried, and Jehovah heard, And from all their distresses delivered them.

Claman los justos, y el Señor los oye Y los libra de todas sus angustias.

18 N ear Jehovah to the broken of heart, And the bruised of spirit He saveth.

Cercano está el Señor a los quebrantados de corazón, Y salva a los abatidos de espíritu.

19 M any the evils of the righteous, Out of them all doth Jehovah deliver him.

Muchas son las aflicciones del justo, Pero de todas ellas lo libra el Señor.

20 H e is keeping all his bones, One of them hath not been broken.

El guarda todos sus huesos; Ni uno de ellos es quebrantado.

21 E vil doth put to death the wicked, And those hating the righteous are desolate.

La maldad dará muerte al impío, Y los que aborrecen al justo serán condenados.

22 J ehovah redeemeth the soul of His servants, And none trusting in Him are desolate!

El Señor redime el alma de Sus siervos, Y no será condenado ninguno de los que en El se refugian.
