1 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

2 ` Speak unto Aaron, and thou hast said unto him, In thy causing the lights to go up, over-against the face of the candlestick do the seven lights give light.'

“Habla a Aarón y dile: ‘Cuando pongas las lámparas, las siete lámparas alumbrarán al frente del candelabro.’”

3 A nd Aaron doth so; over-against the face of the candlestick he hath caused its lights to go up, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.

Y así lo hizo Aarón; puso las lámparas al frente del candelabro, como el Señor había ordenado a Moisés.

4 A nd this the work of the candlestick: beaten work of gold; unto its thigh, unto its flower it beaten work; as the appearance which Jehovah shewed Moses, so he hath made the candlestick.

Así estaba hecho el candelabro: de oro labrado a martillo; desde su base hasta sus flores fue obra labrada a martillo; según el modelo que el Señor le mostró a Moisés, así hizo el candelabro. La Purificación de los Levitas

5 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

De nuevo el Señor habló a Moisés y le dijo:

6 ` Take the Levites from the midst of the sons of Israel, and thou hast cleansed them.

“Toma de entre los Israelitas a los Levitas y purifícalos.

7 ` And thus thou dost to them to cleanse them: sprinkle upon them waters of atonement, and they have caused a razor to pass over all their flesh, and have washed their garments, and cleansed themselves,

Así harás con ellos para su purificación: rociarás sobre ellos agua purificadora, y que ellos hagan pasar una navaja sobre todo su cuerpo, laven sus ropas y quedarán purificados.

8 a nd have taken a bullock, a son of the herd, and its present, flour mixed with oil, -- and a second bullock a son of the herd thou dost take for a sin-offering,

Tomarán entonces un novillo con su ofrenda de cereal, flor de harina mezclada con aceite; y tú tomarás otro novillo como ofrenda por el pecado.

9 a nd thou hast brought near the Levites before the tent of meeting, and thou hast assembled the whole company of the sons of Israel,

Y harás que se acerquen los Levitas delante de la tienda de reunión. Reunirás también a toda la congregación de los Israelitas,

10 a nd thou hast brought near the Levites before Jehovah, and the sons of Israel have laid their hands on the Levites,

y presentarás a los Levitas delante del Señor; y los Israelitas pondrán sus manos sobre los Levitas.

11 a nd Aaron hath waved the Levites -- a wave-offering before Jehovah, from the sons of Israel, and they have been -- for doing the service of Jehovah.

Entonces Aarón presentará a los Levitas delante del Señor, como ofrenda mecida de los Israelitas, para que ellos puedan cumplir el ministerio del Señor.

12 ` And the Levites lay their hands on the head of the bullocks, and make thou the one a sin-offering, and the one a burnt-offering to Jehovah, to atone for the Levites,

Los Levitas pondrán sus manos sobre la cabeza de los novillos, y entonces ofrecerán uno como ofrenda por el pecado y el otro como holocausto al Señor, para hacer expiación por los Levitas.

13 a nd thou hast caused the Levites to stand before Aaron, and before his sons, and hast waved them -- a wave-offering to Jehovah;

Harás que los Levitas estén de pie delante de Aarón y delante de sus hijos, para presentarlos como ofrenda mecida al Señor.

14 a nd thou hast separated the Levites from the midst of the sons of Israel, and the Levites have become Mine;

“Así separarás a los Levitas de entre los Israelitas, y los Levitas serán Míos.

15 a nd afterwards do the Levites come in to serve the tent of meeting, and thou hast cleansed them, and hast waved them -- a wave-offering.

Y después de eso, los Levitas podrán entrar para ministrar en la tienda de reunión, tú los purificarás y los presentarás como ofrenda mecida;

16 ` For they are certainly given to Me out of the midst of the sons of Israel, instead of him who openeth any womb -- the first-born of all -- from the sons of Israel I have taken them to Myself;

porque son enteramente dedicados para Mí de entre los Israelitas. Los he tomado para Mí en lugar de todo primer fruto de la matriz, los primogénitos de todos los Israelitas.

17 f or Mine every first-born among the sons of Israel, among man and among beast; in the day of my smiting every first-born in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for Myself;

Porque Míos son todos los primogénitos de entre los Israelitas, tanto de hombres como de animales; el día en que herí a todo primogénito en la tierra de Egipto, los santifiqué para Mí.

18 a nd I take the Levites instead of every first-born among the sons of Israel:

Pero he tomado a los Levitas en lugar de los primogénitos de entre los Israelitas.

19 ` And I give the Levites gifts to Aaron and to his sons, from the midst of the sons of Israel, to do the service of the sons of Israel in the tent of meeting, and to make atonement for the sons of Israel, and there is no plague among the sons of Israel in the sons of Israel's drawing nigh unto the sanctuary.'

Y he dado a los Levitas como un don a Aarón y a sus hijos de entre los Israelitas, para cumplir el ministerio de los Israelitas en la tienda de reunión y para hacer expiación en favor de los Israelitas, para que no haya plaga entre ellos al acercarse al santuario.”

20 A nd Moses doth -- Aaron also, and all the company of the sons of Israel -- to the Levites according to all that Jehovah hath commanded Moses concerning the Levites; so have the sons of Israel done to them.

Moisés, Aarón y toda la congregación de los Israelitas hicieron así a los Levitas. Conforme a todo lo que el Señor había mandado a Moisés acerca de los Levitas, así hicieron con ellos los Israelitas.

21 A nd the Levites cleanse themselves, and wash their garments, and Aaron waveth them a wave-offering before Jehovah, and Aaron maketh atonement for them to cleanse them,

Los Levitas se purificaron a sí mismos de pecados, y lavaron sus ropas; y Aarón los presentó como ofrenda mecida delante del Señor. También Aarón hizo expiación por ellos para purificarlos.

22 a nd afterwards have the Levites gone in to do their service in the tent of meeting, before Aaron and before his sons; as Jehovah hath commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so they have done to them.

Entonces, después de eso, los Levitas entraron para cumplir su ministerio en la tienda de reunión delante de Aarón y delante de sus hijos. Como el Señor había ordenado a Moisés acerca de los Levitas, así hicieron con ellos. La Jubilación de los Levitas

23 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

Entonces el Señor le dijo a Moisés:

24 ` This that which the Levites': from a son of five and twenty years and upward he doth go in to serve the host in the service of the tent of meeting,

“Esto es lo que se refiere a los Levitas: desde los veinticinco años en adelante entrarán a cumplir el servicio en el ministerio de la tienda de reunión.

25 a nd from a son of fifty years he doth return from the host of the service, and doth not serve any more,

Pero a los cincuenta años se jubilarán de ejercer el ministerio, y no trabajarán más.

26 a nd he hath ministered with his brethren in the tent of meeting, to keep the charge, and doth not do service; thus thou dost to the Levites concerning their charge.'

Sin embargo, pueden ayudar a sus hermanos en la tienda de reunión a cumplir sus obligaciones, pero no a ejercer el ministerio. Así harás con los Levitas en cuanto a sus obligaciones.”
