1 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

Disse também o Senhor a Moisés:

2 ` Speak unto Aaron, and thou hast said unto him, In thy causing the lights to go up, over-against the face of the candlestick do the seven lights give light.'

“Diga o seguinte a Arão: Quando você preparar as sete lâmpadas, estas deverão iluminar a área da frente do candelabro”.

3 A nd Aaron doth so; over-against the face of the candlestick he hath caused its lights to go up, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.

Arão assim fez; dispôs as lâmpadas de modo que estivessem voltadas para a frente do candelabro, como o Senhor tinha ordenado a Moisés.

4 A nd this the work of the candlestick: beaten work of gold; unto its thigh, unto its flower it beaten work; as the appearance which Jehovah shewed Moses, so he hath made the candlestick.

O candelabro foi feito de ouro batido, do pedestal às flores, conforme o modelo que o Senhor tinha mostrado a Moisés. A Consagração dos Levitas

5 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

O Senhor disse a Moisés:

6 ` Take the Levites from the midst of the sons of Israel, and thou hast cleansed them.

“Separe os levitas do meio dos israelitas e purifique-os.

7 ` And thus thou dost to them to cleanse them: sprinkle upon them waters of atonement, and they have caused a razor to pass over all their flesh, and have washed their garments, and cleansed themselves,

A purificação deles será assim: você aspergirá a água da purificação sobre eles; fará com que rapem o corpo todo e lavem as roupas, para que se purifiquem.

8 a nd have taken a bullock, a son of the herd, and its present, flour mixed with oil, -- and a second bullock a son of the herd thou dost take for a sin-offering,

Depois eles trarão um novilho com a oferta de cereal da melhor farinha amassada com óleo; e você trará um segundo novilho como oferta pelo pecado.

9 a nd thou hast brought near the Levites before the tent of meeting, and thou hast assembled the whole company of the sons of Israel,

Você levará os levitas para a frente da Tenda do Encontro e reunirá toda a comunidade de Israel.

10 a nd thou hast brought near the Levites before Jehovah, and the sons of Israel have laid their hands on the Levites,

Levará os levitas à presença do Senhor, e os israelitas imporão as mãos sobre eles.

11 a nd Aaron hath waved the Levites -- a wave-offering before Jehovah, from the sons of Israel, and they have been -- for doing the service of Jehovah.

Arão apresentará os levitas ao Senhor como oferta ritualmente movida da parte dos israelitas: eles serão dedicados ao trabalho do Senhor.

12 ` And the Levites lay their hands on the head of the bullocks, and make thou the one a sin-offering, and the one a burnt-offering to Jehovah, to atone for the Levites,

“Depois que os levitas impuserem as mãos sobre a cabeça dos novilhos, você oferecerá um novilho como oferta pelo pecado e o outro como holocausto ao Senhor, para fazer propiciação pelos levitas.

13 a nd thou hast caused the Levites to stand before Aaron, and before his sons, and hast waved them -- a wave-offering to Jehovah;

Disponha os levitas em frente de Arão e dos filhos dele e apresente-os como oferta movida ao Senhor.

14 a nd thou hast separated the Levites from the midst of the sons of Israel, and the Levites have become Mine;

Dessa maneira você separará os levitas do meio dos israelitas, e os levitas serão meus.

15 a nd afterwards do the Levites come in to serve the tent of meeting, and thou hast cleansed them, and hast waved them -- a wave-offering.

“Depois que você purificar os levitas e os apresentar como oferta movida, eles entrarão na Tenda do Encontro para ministrar.

16 ` For they are certainly given to Me out of the midst of the sons of Israel, instead of him who openeth any womb -- the first-born of all -- from the sons of Israel I have taken them to Myself;

Eles são os israelitas que deverão ser inteiramente dedicados a mim. Eu os separei para serem meus em lugar dos primogênitos, do primeiro filho homem de cada mulher israelita.

17 f or Mine every first-born among the sons of Israel, among man and among beast; in the day of my smiting every first-born in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for Myself;

Todo primogênito em Israel, entre os homens e entre os rebanhos, é meu. Eu os separei para mim quando feri todos os primogênitos no Egito,

18 a nd I take the Levites instead of every first-born among the sons of Israel:

e escolhi os levitas em lugar de todos os primogênitos em Israel.

19 ` And I give the Levites gifts to Aaron and to his sons, from the midst of the sons of Israel, to do the service of the sons of Israel in the tent of meeting, and to make atonement for the sons of Israel, and there is no plague among the sons of Israel in the sons of Israel's drawing nigh unto the sanctuary.'

Dentre todos os israelitas, dediquei os levitas como dádivas a Arão e aos seus filhos; eles ministrarão na Tenda do Encontro em nome dos israelitas e farão propiciação por eles, para que nenhuma praga atinja os israelitas quando se aproximarem do santuário”.

20 A nd Moses doth -- Aaron also, and all the company of the sons of Israel -- to the Levites according to all that Jehovah hath commanded Moses concerning the Levites; so have the sons of Israel done to them.

Moisés, Arão e toda a comunidade de Israel fizeram com os levitas como o Senhor tinha ordenado a Moisés.

21 A nd the Levites cleanse themselves, and wash their garments, and Aaron waveth them a wave-offering before Jehovah, and Aaron maketh atonement for them to cleanse them,

Os levitas se purificaram e lavaram suas roupas; e Arão os apresentou como oferta ritualmente movida perante o Senhor e fez propiciação por eles para purificá-los.

22 a nd afterwards have the Levites gone in to do their service in the tent of meeting, before Aaron and before his sons; as Jehovah hath commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so they have done to them.

Depois disso os levitas passaram a ministrar na Tenda do Encontro sob a supervisão de Arão e dos seus filhos. Fizeram com os levitas como o Senhor tinha ordenado a Moisés.

23 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

O Senhor disse ainda a Moisés:

24 ` This that which the Levites': from a son of five and twenty years and upward he doth go in to serve the host in the service of the tent of meeting,

“Isto diz respeito aos levitas: os homens de vinte e cinco anos para cima, aptos para servir, tomarão parte no trabalho que se faz na Tenda do Encontro,

25 a nd from a son of fifty years he doth return from the host of the service, and doth not serve any more,

mas aos cinqüenta anos deverão afastar-se do serviço regular e nele não mais trabalharão.

26 a nd he hath ministered with his brethren in the tent of meeting, to keep the charge, and doth not do service; thus thou dost to the Levites concerning their charge.'

Poderão ajudar seus companheiros de ofício na responsabilidade de cuidar da Tenda do Encontro, mas eles mesmos não deverão fazer o trabalho. Assim você designará as responsabilidades dos levitas”.
