1 A nd Jehovah saith unto Moses, `Now dost thou see that which I do to Pharaoh, for with a strong hand he doth send them away, yea, with a strong hand he doth cast them out of his land.'

Então o Senhor disse a Moisés: “Agora você verá o que farei ao faraó: Por minha mão poderosa, ele os deixará ir; por minha mão poderosa, ele os expulsará do seu país”.

2 A nd God speaketh unto Moses, and saith unto him, `I Jehovah,

Disse Deus ainda a Moisés: “Eu sou o Senhor.

3 a nd I appear unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, as God Almighty; as to My name Jehovah, I have not been known to them;

Apareci a Abraão, a Isaque e a Jacó como o Deus todo-poderoso, mas pelo meu nome, o Senhor, não me revelei a eles.

4 a nd also I have established My covenant with them, to give to them the land of Canaan, the land of their sojournings, wherein they have sojourned;

Depois estabeleci com eles a minha aliança para dar-lhes a terra de Canaã, terra onde viveram como estrangeiros.

5 a nd also I have heard the groaning of the sons of Israel, whom the Egyptians are causing to serve, and I remember My covenant.

E agora ouvi o lamento dos israelitas, a quem os egípcios mantêm escravos, e lembrei-me da minha aliança.

6 ` Therefore say to the sons of Israel, I Jehovah, and I have brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and have delivered you from their service, and have redeemed you by a stretched-out arm, and by great judgments,

“Por isso, diga aos israelitas: Eu sou o Senhor. Eu os livrarei do trabalho imposto pelos egípcios. Eu os libertarei da escravidão e os resgatarei com braço forte e com poderosos atos de juízo.

7 a nd have taken you to Me for a people, and I have been to you for God, and ye have known that I Jehovah your God, who is bringing you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians;

Eu os farei meu povo e serei o Deus de vocês. Então vocês saberão que eu sou o Senhor, o seu Deus, que os livra do trabalho imposto pelos egípcios.

8 a nd I have brought you in unto the land which I have lifted up My hand to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, and have given it to you -- a possession; I Jehovah.'

E os farei entrar na terra que, com mão levantada, jurei que daria a Abraão, a Isaque e a Jacó. Eu a darei a vocês como propriedade. Eu sou o Senhor ”.

9 A nd Moses speaketh so unto the sons of Israel, and they hearkened not unto Moses, for anguish of spirit, and for harsh service.

Moisés declarou isso aos israelitas, mas eles não lhe deram ouvidos, por causa da angústia e da cruel escravidão que sofriam.

10 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

Então o Senhor ordenou a Moisés:

11 ` Go in, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he doth send the sons of Israel out of his land;

“Vá dizer ao faraó, rei do Egito, que deixe os israelitas saírem do país”.

12 a nd Moses speaketh before Jehovah, saying, `Lo, the sons of Israel have not hearkened unto me, and how doth Pharaoh hear me, and I of uncircumcised lips?'

Moisés, porém, disse na presença do Senhor: “Se os israelitas não me dão ouvidos, como me ouvirá o faraó? Ainda mais que não tenho facilidade para falar!”

13 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and chargeth them for the sons of Israel, and for Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt.

Mas o Senhor ordenou a Moisés e a Arão que dissessem aos israelitas e ao faraó, rei do Egito, que tinham ordem para tirar do Egito os israelitas. A Genealogia de Moisés e Arão

14 T hese heads of the house of their fathers: Sons of Reuben first-born of Israel Hanoch, and Phallu, Hezron, and Carmi: these families of Reuben.

Estes foram os chefes das famílias israelitas: Os filhos de Rúben, filho mais velho de Israel, foram: Enoque, Palu, Hezrom e Carmi. Esses foram os clãs de Rúben.

15 A nd sons of Simeon Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul, son of the Canaanitess: these families of Simeon.

Os filhos de Simeão foram: Jemuel, Jamim, Oade, Jaquim, Zoar e Saul, filho de uma cananéia. Esses foram os clãs de Simeão.

16 A nd these the names of the sons of Levi, as to their births: Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari: and the years of the life of Levi a hundred and thirty and seven years.

Estes são os nomes dos filhos de Levi, por ordem de nascimento: Gérson, Coate e Merari. Levi viveu cento e trinta e sete anos.

17 T he sons of Gershon Libni, and Shimi, as to their families.

Os filhos de Gérson, conforme seus clãs, foram Libni e Simei.

18 A nd the sons of Kohath Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel: and the years of the life of Kohath a hundred and thirty and three years.

Os filhos de Coate foram Anrão, Isar, Hebrom e Uziel. Coate viveu cento e trinta e três anos.

19 A nd the sons of Merari Mahli and Mushi: these families of Levi, as to their births.

Os filhos de Merari foram Mali e Musi. Esses foram os clãs de Levi, por ordem de nascimento.

20 A nd Amram taketh Jochebed his aunt to himself for a wife, and she beareth to him Aaron and Moses: and the years of the life of Amram a hundred and thirty and seven years.

Anrão tomou por mulher sua tia Joquebede, que lhe deu à luz Arão e Moisés. Anrão viveu cento e trinta e sete anos.

21 A nd sons of Izhar Korah, and Nepheg, and Zichri.

Os filhos de Isar foram Corá, Nefegue e Zicri.

22 A nd sons of Uzziel Mishael, and Elzaphan, and Sithri.

Os filhos de Uziel foram Misael, Elzafã e Sitri.

23 A nd Aaron taketh Elisheba daughter of Amminadab, sister of Naashon, to himself for a wife, and she beareth to him Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

Arão tomou por mulher a Eliseba, filha de Aminadabe, irmã de Naassom, e ela lhe deu à luz Nadabe, Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar.

24 A nd sons of Korah Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph: these families of the Korhite.

Os filhos de Corá foram Assir, Elcana e Abiasafe. Esses foram os clãs dos coraítas.

25 A nd Eleazar, Aaron's son, hath taken to him of the daughters of Putiel for a wife to himself, and she beareth to him Phinehas: these heads of the fathers of the Levites, as to their families.

Eleazar, filho de Arão, tomou por mulher uma das filhas de Futiel, e ela lhe deu à luz Finéias. Esses foram os chefes das famílias dos levitas, conforme seus clãs.

26 T his Aaron -- and Moses -- to whom Jehovah said, `Bring ye out the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt, by their hosts;'

Foi a este Arão e a este Moisés que o Senhor disse: “Tirem os israelitas do Egito, organizados segundo as suas divisões”.

27 t hese are they who are speaking unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the sons of Israel from Egypt, this Moses -- and Aaron.

Foram eles, Moisés e Arão, que falaram ao faraó, rei do Egito, a fim de tirarem os israelitas do Egito. Arão: O Porta-voz de Moisés

28 A nd it cometh to pass in the day of Jehovah's speaking unto Moses in the land of Egypt,

Ora, quando o Senhor falou com Moisés no Egito,

29 t hat Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying, `I Jehovah, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I am speaking unto thee.'

disse-lhe: “Eu sou o Senhor. Diga ao faraó, rei do Egito, tudo o que eu lhe disser”.

30 A nd Moses saith before Jehovah, `Lo, I of uncircumcised lips, and how doth Pharaoh hearken unto me?'

Moisés, porém, perguntou ao Senhor: “Como o faraó me dará ouvidos, se não tenho facilidade para falar?”
