1 A Psalm. Sing ye to Jehovah a new song, For wonders He hath done, Given salvation to Him hath His right hand and His holy arm.

Cantem ao Senhor um novo cântico, pois ele fez coisas maravilhosas; a sua mão direita e o seu braço santo lhe deram a vitória!

2 J ehovah hath made known His salvation, Before the eyes of the nations, He hath revealed His righteousness,

O Senhor anunciou a sua vitória e revelou a sua justiça às nações.

3 H e hath remembered His kindness, And His faithfulness to the house of Israel, All ends of earth have seen the salvation of our God.

Ele se lembrou do seu amor leal e da sua fidelidade para com a casa de Israel; todos os confins da terra viram a vitória do nosso Deus.

4 S hout to Jehovah, all the earth, Break forth, and cry aloud, and sing.

Aclamem o Senhor todos os habitantes da terra! Louvem-no com cânticos de alegria e ao som de música!

5 S ing to Jehovah with harp, With harp, and voice of praise,

Ofereçam música ao Senhor com a harpa, com a harpa e ao som de canções,

6 W ith trumpets, and voice of a cornet, Shout ye before the king Jehovah.

com cornetas e ao som da trombeta; exultem diante do Senhor, o Rei!

7 R oar doth the sea and its fulness, The world and the inhabitants in it.

Ressoe o mar e tudo o que nele existe, o mundo e os seus habitantes!

8 F loods clap hand, together hills cry aloud,

Batam palmas os rios, e juntos cantem de alegria os montes;

9 B efore Jehovah, For He hath come to judge the earth, He judgeth the world in righteousness, And the people in uprightness!

cantem diante do Senhor, porque ele vem, vem julgar a terra; julgará o mundo com justiça e os povos, com retidão.
