1 C antem ao Senhor um novo cântico, pois ele fez coisas maravilhosas; a sua mão direita e o seu braço santo lhe deram a vitória!

A Psalm. Sing ye to Jehovah a new song, For wonders He hath done, Given salvation to Him hath His right hand and His holy arm.

2 O Senhor anunciou a sua vitória e revelou a sua justiça às nações.

Jehovah hath made known His salvation, Before the eyes of the nations, He hath revealed His righteousness,

3 E le se lembrou do seu amor leal e da sua fidelidade para com a casa de Israel; todos os confins da terra viram a vitória do nosso Deus.

He hath remembered His kindness, And His faithfulness to the house of Israel, All ends of earth have seen the salvation of our God.

4 A clamem o Senhor todos os habitantes da terra! Louvem-no com cânticos de alegria e ao som de música!

Shout to Jehovah, all the earth, Break forth, and cry aloud, and sing.

5 O fereçam música ao Senhor com a harpa, com a harpa e ao som de canções,

Sing to Jehovah with harp, With harp, and voice of praise,

6 c om cornetas e ao som da trombeta; exultem diante do Senhor, o Rei!

With trumpets, and voice of a cornet, Shout ye before the king Jehovah.

7 R essoe o mar e tudo o que nele existe, o mundo e os seus habitantes!

Roar doth the sea and its fulness, The world and the inhabitants in it.

8 B atam palmas os rios, e juntos cantem de alegria os montes;

Floods clap hand, together hills cry aloud,

9 c antem diante do Senhor, porque ele vem, vem julgar a terra; julgará o mundo com justiça e os povos, com retidão.

Before Jehovah, For He hath come to judge the earth, He judgeth the world in righteousness, And the people in uprightness!
