1 A leluia! Louvem o Senhor desde os céus, louvem-no nas alturas!

Praise ye Jah! Praise ye Jehovah from the heavens, Praise ye Him in high places.

2 L ouvem-no todos os seus anjos, louvem-no todos os seus exércitos celestiais.

Praise ye Him, all His messengers, Praise ye Him, all His hosts.

3 L ouvem-no sol e lua, louvem-no todas as estrelas cintilantes.

Praise ye Him, sun and moon, Praise ye Him, all stars of light.

4 L ouvem-no os mais altos céus e as águas acima do firmamento.

Praise ye Him, heavens of heavens, And ye waters that are above the heavens.

5 L ouvem todos eles o nome do Senhor, pois ordenou, e eles foram criados.

They do praise the name of Jehovah, For He commanded, and they were created.

6 E le os estabeleceu em seus lugares para todo o sempre; deu-lhes um decreto que jamais mudará.

And He establisheth them for ever to the age, A statute He gave, and they pass not over.

7 L ouvem o Senhor, vocês que estão na terra, serpentes marinhas e todas as profundezas,

Praise ye Jehovah from the earth, Dragons and all deeps,

8 r elâmpagos e granizo, neve e neblina, vendavais que cumprem o que ele determina,

Fire and hail, snow and vapour, Whirlwind doing His word;

9 t odas as montanhas e colinas, árvores frutíferas e todos os cedros,

The mountains and all heights, Fruit tree, and all cedars,

10 t odos os animais selvagens e os rebanhos domésticos, todos os demais seres vivos e as aves,

The wild beast, and all cattle, Creeping thing, and winged bird,

11 r eis da terra e todas as nações, todos os governantes e juízes da terra,

Kings of earth, and all peoples, Chiefs, and all judges of earth,

12 m oços e moças, velhos e crianças.

Young men, and also maidens, Aged men, with youths,

13 L ouvem todos o nome do Senhor, pois somente o seu nome é exaltado; a sua majestade está acima da terra e dos céus.

They praise the name of Jehovah, For His name alone hath been set on high, His honour above earth and heavens.

14 E le concedeu poder ao seu povo, e recebeu louvor de todos os seus fiéis, dos israelitas, povo a quem ele tanto ama. Aleluia!

And He exalteth the horn of His people, The praise of all His saints, Of the sons of Israel, a people near Him. Praise ye Jah!
